Abstract

Abstract : Precipitation measurement accuration is affected by the amount of rainfall stations and the network pattern within basin area. The precise placement of rainfall stations considering location, amount of rainfall stations, network pattern will contribute to the data accuration of rainfall depth, spreads and rainfall intensity. There is no standard yet for the number of rainfall stations that can represent rainfall variability in watershed, so to obtain the optimal number and network pattern of rainfall stations must based on calculation. The measurement for network density of rainfall stations is calculated using Kagan method because using this method the optimal number and network pattern can be obtained. The calculation begins with determining the correlation coeffitient between rainfall stations as an input to monthly rainfall. In this stage, the complete dry days were not counted, but only wet days or months with high rainfall intensity. The evaluation of Kagan method produced first output which is the correlation between number of the required rainfall station with certain level of error (average error and interpolation error) and the second which is the location of rainfall station refers to a certain pattern. The output from Kagan method is the optimal number and network pattern of rainfall station. The analysis shows that there is lacks of rainfall station both by adjustment error of 5 % using 68 rainfall stations with 2,591 km bond length and adjustment error of 10 % using 17 rainfall stations 17 with 5,319 km bond length.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2010, dengan tujuan utama menentukan lokasi infrastruktur pelabuhan pariwisata yang paling optimal dalam mendukung peningkatan wisatawan dan pertumbuhan perekonomian daerah, penelitian tahun 2011 fokus pada Prioritas Program Terminal Kapal Pesiar Tanah Ampo: Penerapan Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) untuk penilaian Proyek dan Penelitian Peranan Transportasi dalam Pariwisata Studi Kasus: Pemilihan Daerah Tujuan Wisata (DTW/Destinasi) oleh Wisatawan di Bali. Pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam metode penelitian bagaimana mencari alternatif lokasi pelabuhan yang memenuhi syarat teknis seperti kedalaman alur dan kolam pelabuhan, turning bazin, pasang surut, tinggi gelombang, kesesuaian lingkungan dengan pendekatan teoritis dan empiris. Implementasi pada studi kasus daerah wisata di Bali mengindikasikan bahwa dari sepuluh alternatif lokasi pelabuhan hanya 5 lokasi yang memenuhi syarat kriteria yang disebutkan diatas yaitu: 1). Pelabuhan Benoa, 2). Pelabuhan Tanah Ampo, 3). Amed, 4). Pelabuhan Celukan Bawang, 5). Sumberkima.

Abstract

This study examines regencial road handling priority using FAHP a-cutbased and TOPSIS methods using Badung regency in Bali province as the casestudy area. The study is restricted to regencial roads under severe conditions.Adoption of these FAHP a-cut based and TOPSIS methods allow the researcher tohave estimation regarding the overall road handling priority considering thedecision makers’s attitude from optimistic to pessimistic situations and decisionmakers’s degree of confidence from under the most uncertain to certaincomparisons. Meanwhile, the previous study has analysed the same case study areausing FAHP extent analysis and TOPSIS methods with no consideration ondecision makers’s attitude and confidence. This study concluded that road handlingdetermination using FAHP a cut based and TOPSIS methods, considering bothpessimistic and moderate situations and highly optimistics situation with uncertainconditions of the decision makers, produced similar top prioty as it used FAHPextent analysis and TOPSIS methods.

Abstract

Abstract:  This paper refers to a previous study conducted in 2004. The previous study analysed the investment value of waste management. The survey was conducted in Mengwi District in Badung Regency. Secondary data were obtained from Badung Cleaning and Landscape and Office while primary data were collected by distributing questionnaire to the local residents. The study showed that Total Construction Costs are Rp. 12,863,050,000.00 with a ratio of 30% private owned capital. The expected Return on Investment or equity rate is 14% and loan capital of 70% used loan interest rate of 6%. The investment analysis produced a positive Net Present Value and the Internal Rate of Return of 26.87%.

Abstract

This study was an experimental study on spiral-shaped bond shearconnector that is used in steel-concrete composite beams. Spiral is made of mildsteel reinforcement that has the same dimension between its diameter and its feetdistance (single spiral). Specimens was designed according to Austaralian StandarAS 2327, Part 1, 1980 consisting of I shape steel profile and two concrete slabsattached to the flanges of the profile. Four types or groups of specimens were madewith the same strength of concrete (27.65 MPa) and steel. Two spirals withdiameter of 2 inch, 2.5 inch, 3 inch and 3.5 inch were applied in each specimenrespectively and each group of specimen was consisted of three identicalspecimens. Then the specimens were tested by the pushout test method untilfailure. The results of experimental study shows that this type bond shear connectorthat was made of steel reinforcing bars had given strength to bear shear force. Allspecimens experienced failure purely due to the slip (bond failure) between thespiral and concrete. Moreover, in elastic conditions there was no real differentbehavior among the specimen groups. Differences in behavior occured at postelasticcondition that was started from the compression force value of 120 kN (60kN for each spiral). The value of the failure compressive force for specimen group I, II, III and IV were 160 kN, 170 kN, 175 kN and 180 kN, respectively revealingthat there was consistency condition between the length of bond and the value ofthe failuer forces.

Abstract

Tariff analysis was conducted to determine the characteristics of thefeasibility of establishing the official tariff of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)SARBAGITA in terms of Operator’ Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) and in termsof Users’ Ability To Pay (ATP) and Willingness To Pay (WTP). Secondary data onvehicle operating costs (VOC) was obtained from The Office of Transportation,Communication and Information as a manager of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)SARBAGITA. Primary data is by conducting survey on board with questionnairesto get the data of Ability To Pay (ATP) and the Willingness To Pay (WTP) of usersas a representative community. Based on the results of analysis it was found thatwith Load Factor of 80% Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) of BRT SARBAGITA isRp. 2.500, - per passenger. On the other hand, based on Users’ Ability to Pay(ATP) was obtained Rp. 1,800, - per passenger and the Willingness to Pay (WTP)is Rp. 2.500, - per passenger. Determination of the current official rate of Rp.3,500, - per passenger is relatively still high and on an average beyond the reach ofsociety.

Abstract

Evaluation on Cash Flow Project shows that cash inflows experiencingdelays during June, July, August and November 2008. This however, is overcomeby the use of working capital. It indicates that such project is sufficiently liquid.Project profitability of GOR Kerobokan in Badung regency reached Operating /Profit Margin of 15.1% indicating the company’s ability to generate operatingprofit in one period of the project amounted to 15.1%. The analysis shows that ROI= 16,827%, ROIbefore tax = 28.573% and ROIafter tax = 20.001%. These ROIs aregreater than the profit margins that amounted to 15.1% and the effective rate of15% per years. The investment analysis shows that NPV = IDR 77,672,800.77using the discount rate (i) of 3%. The NPV is positive (+), the IRR = 3.196% permonth and BCR = 1.0095. The IRR is larger than bank (BPD Bali) interest rate of1.25% per month (IRR > i). BCR is greater than 1 indicating that GOR KerobokanDevelopment Project is financially feasible.

Abstract

A company engaged in the service sector has a purpose, namely to getthe maximum benefit for survival. To achieve these objectives, the company willrely heavily on the management in regulating the activities of firms, especially interms of financial function which includes all activities associated with businessfirms to obtain resources and allocate those funds accordingly. Planning andworking capital arrangement are intended to gain efficient benefit for company,because the company's working capital management efficiency becomes veryimportant for the growing and sustainability of the company. This requires aproject management to have a good knowledge of working capital so that later cananalyze the use of working capital to generate profits by using a specific method(measuring instrument). Profitability is a method that can be used by management/owners of the contractor to determine the efficiency of working capital in a projectto create profits. The analysis result showed that the operating margin for the termof payment systems on Banyubiru project in 2006 was the highest percentage of60.10% compared to the project in 2005 (59.92%) and in 2007 (60.01%). Thismeans that the turnover of working capital used in the project in 2006 Banyubiru isfaster than the project in 2005 and 2007.

Abstract

A project has a set of risks to achieve goals. Forconstruction projects, the risk is an interesting thing, especially for theexpansion started out as a national participation in a multi-national in aproject. Problems frequent occurrence of natural disasters floods, as oneof the risk analysis project management. Specifically limits the risk of aproject is the variability of income as a result of variations in cash flowand output during umurinvestasi concerned. Risk management strategiesare very important to establish at the beginning of the project and riskaimed at the entire project life cycle basis. Risk management includesseveral activities: estimating the risks, analyze risks, handle risks, learnfrom experience. Phase determination in all parts is to indicate theactual risk of the project. Participant management and overall projectmanagement should give priority to in order to handle risk and theapproach that creates: a variety of ideas to find a solution to the mostminimal impact, contract administration are balanced, the completion ofthe project risks early on, based on the content of the problem, using atechnique ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution )

Abstract

Abstract : Collecting and transporting waste are a part of waste management problems found in Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The study objective is to optimize and to increase efficiency of waste collection and transportation management using simulation models to improve public services. The simulation results show that in 2004 for a total of 281.19 m3/day of waste and it required 5 units of dump trucks, 12 units of containers, three units of armroll trucks, 94 units of carts and three units of sorting bins. In 2014, total waste would be 322.11 m3/day and it requires 5 units of dump trucks, 12 units of containers, 6 units of armroll trucks, 107 units of wagon and three units of sorting bins.  In 2024 there would be a total waste of 371.49 m3/day and it requires 6 units of dump trucks, 21 units of containers, 7 units of armroll trucks, 124 units of wagons and 4 units of sorting bins.
