Abstract

This research shows that we all have realized the need for clean air and globally have regulated exhaust emissions from air pollution, so electric vehicles have emerged. But this phenomenon has an impact on belt companies that supply parts for CVT gasoline-powered automatic scooters because the majority of electric motors no longer need a belt as a drive transfer from the engine to the wheel. Simulated with a dynamic model for the projection of the next 20 years from 2019 to 2039, with two scenarios, namely COVID-19 and if the government's policy target of 20% of the motorbike market switches to electricity in 2025, then gradually increases to 30% in 2035. PT XYZ as a belt supplier with an 85% market share in Indonesia, will get a net profit of 50% if this scenario is achieved until 2039 became around 131 billion per year, previously with the no-scenario model it was projected to get a net profit of around 221 billion. Maybe if the demand for electric motorbikes is more than what the government has targeted, it is likely that the two-wheeled automotive belt business could be threatened in the next 15 - 20 years. Meanwhile, the largest Expense is the cost of imported materials, reaching 65% of the total cost of Expenses consisting of Salary Expenses (Salary Expense), total training costs, cost of sales, total loss costs, material costs, and Operating overhead Recommendations that business can survive, companies can reduce material costs by developing local materials, and help shape the automotive belt use ecosystem by working with automotive manufacturers.

Abstract

The balanced scorecard is a formal management technique for developing, implementing, and managing business strategies. It isn't easy to ascertain the technique's success. Most of the literature on its implementation is put out by those with a vested interest in its success as a commercial product. Much has been written about barriers to strategy implementation but not specifically to implementing a balanced scorecard. The literature review in this paper shows that studies on BSC implementation in corporate organizations focus on improving organizational performance, assisting in decision making, assisting in component selection, evaluating production and learning and sustainable growth. This paper provides benefits for further research to add to the literature and understanding of the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard in any organization.

Abstract

The people of West Kalimantan, especially in Punggur, Sungai Kakap, Kuburaya execute the grinding process of coffee beans with two types of processing, namely dry processing and wet processing. In the process of wet processing, there are problems, one of them is when grinding raw coffee process before the drying process. The process of grinding raw coffee is carried out with non-ergonomic equipment that causing the workers to have musculoskeletal disorders complaints, the workers are bending over so that they cannot work for a long time, and low productivity because workers have to separate the beans from the coffee skin which takes a long time. This study aims to analyze the level of musculoskeletal disorder risk experienced by workers when using a raw coffee grinder using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method. In addition, an anthropometric principle was carried out to determine the size of the tool so it can be used in an ergonomic position and can get a good working posture recommendation when using the machine. Based on RULA analysis using CATIA, show a score of 6 when lifting coffee from the grinder, grinding raw coffee, and taking the coffee grind. The result of RULA indicates that repairs and changes are needed quickly because the work posture produced by the coffee grinder is not ergonomic. Meanwhile, the results of RULA analysis using a coffee grinder after the design showed a score of 3 when lifting coffee from the grinder, a score of 4 when grinding raw coffee, a score of 3 when taking the results of the coffee grind. The score shows that the resulting posture is ergonomic and feasible to apply.

Abstract

The process of making a barecore still uses traditional and simple human labor and machining technology. In the production process, there are several sources of danger found, namely: machines used, work attitudes, work methods, raw materials, and the resulting sawdust disturbs environmental quality. This study aims to identify, assess the risk of hazards in the production process as well as corrective actions to control hazards using the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) method. The research steps were hazard identification, risk assessment and corrective action. For hazard risk assessment, the OHS Risk Assessment method is used. The results of this study found that there are four sources of danger, namely the work environment, humans, materials, and machines. The results of the risk assessment calculation obtained three risk values, namely low risk with the number of findings of 13 potential hazards, medium risk with the number of findings of 78 potential hazards and high risk with the number of findings of two potential hazards. Risk control efforts to reduce potential hazards can be done by: using personal protective equipment, adding boxes as wooden material containers, making standard operating procedures, and providing first aid facilities.
