Abstract

Human, organizational and technological is an important component in the implementation information technology in the Library of Higher Education when viewed in side its benefits. In terms of human Information Technology includes the use of the system and user satisfaction while combining roles and skills. The use of the system also relates to the person using it, the expectations, the attitude of receiving the system, and the training. In terms of organization implementing information technology in the Library of Higher Education can be checked from the organizational structure and environment. The organizational structure can be seen from the management, communication and support received from the organization. In terms of technology, in the implementation of information technology in the Library of Higher Education that can be seen from the side of quality systems, quality information, and service quality. For example the quality of the system is ease of use, ease of learning, response time, and comfort access. Criteria that can be used for the quality of information is information accuracy, availability, usefulness, and easy to understand. The quality of service concerned with the overall support delivered by technology service providers, including empathy and certainty. Manusia, organisasi dan teknologi adalah komponen penting dalam pengimplentasian teknologi informasi di perputakaan Perguruan Tinggi bila dilihat dalam sisi manfaatnya. Dari segi manusia (human) Teknologi Informasi termasuk penggunaan sistem dan kepuasan pengguna saat menggabungkan peran dan keterampilan. Penggunaan sistem juga berhubungan dengan orang yang menggunakannya, harapan, sikap menerima sistem, dan pelatihan. Dari segi organisasi (organization) pengimplementasi teknologi informasi di Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi dapat diperiksa dari struktur organisasi dan lingkungan. Struktur organisasi bisa dilihat dari manajemen, komunikasi dan dukungan yang diterima dari organisasinya. Adapun dari segi teknologi (technology), dalam pengimplementasian teknologi informasi di Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi yaitu dapat dilihat dari sisi kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas layanan. Misalnya kualitas sistem adalah kemudahan penggunaan, kemudahan dipelajari, waktu respon, dan kenyaman akses. Kriteria yang dapat digunakan untuk kualitas informasi adalah informasi keakuratan, ketersediaan, kegunaan, dan mudah dipahami. Adapun kualitas layanan yang bersangkutan dengan dukungan keseluruhan yang disampaikan oleh penyedia layanan teknologi, termasuk empati dan kepastian.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan yang dilakukan Perpustakaan Universitas Mercu Buana (UMB) Cabang Cibubur dan nilai serta budaya kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan pustakawan Perpustakaan UMB Cabang Cibubur merencanakan kegiatan dengan menerapkan management by team. Masing-masing pustakawan mengatur perencanaan sesuai dengan kemampuan individu masing-masing. Dari sikap tersebut tumbuh nilai dan budaya kerja yaitu nilai tanggung jawab, partisipasi, keakraban, kekuasaan dan kerjasama serta tumbuh budaya kerja yang toleransi dan saling menghargai.

Abstract

Resources which owned by library are limited. Libraries are not able to fully meet the expectations and desires of its users. Collaboration is a smart action for libraries and librarians to maximize their resources and overcome the limitations of existing resources. Practices of collaboration can be done either in the college library, school library and the public library. The collaboration is helpful to increase library services, the maximizing of resources are owned by the library. It spurs creativity and innovation opportunities. Need attitude and commitment of an individual to involve in the collaboration i.e a strong will to collaborate, creative and innovative, willing to continue to learn, and the ability to communicate. Collaboration is one of solution to increase library performance and quality.

Abstract

AbstrakDalam makalah ini mencoba untuk mengulas serta mengkelompokkan kompetensi praktis literasi informasi berdasarkan standar literasi informasi untuk mahasiswa ilmu perpustakaan khususnya yang berada dibawah naungan Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam. Kompetensi standar mencakup 5 standar yang diadopsi dari Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). Standarnya adalah; (1) Menetapkan kebutuhan informasi yang dibutuhkan,(2) Menemukan informasi yang dibutuhkan secara efektif dan efesien, (3) Mengevaluasi informasi dan sumber secara kritis dan menggabungkan beberapa informasi menjadi basis pengetahuan dan sistem nilai (4)Secara individu maupun berkelompok menggunakan informasi untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu (5) Menggunakan informasi dengan memahami isu terkait budaya, ekonomi, hukum dan sosial terkait penggunaan informasi. Kompetensi praktis yang dipaparkan terkait dengan pengetahuan, keterampilan, software yang harus dikuasai.AbstractIn this paper tries to review as well as groups of practical competence based information literacy information standards for library science students, especially under the auspices of College of Islamic Religion. Competency standard includes 5 standard adopted by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). Standart consists of ;(1)Determines the nature and extent of the information needed (2) Accesses needed information effectively and efficiently (3)evaluates information and its sources critically and incorporates selected information into his or her knowledge base and value system (4) Individually or as a member of a group, uses information effectively to accomplish a specific purpose (5)Understands many of the economic, legal, and social issues surrounding the use of information and accesses and uses information ethically and legally. Presented practical competence related to the knowledge, skills, software that must be owned.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine: Satisfaction Level of Members Against Service Quality On Health Polytechnic Library Health Ministry of Yogyakarta. Data collection is done by using questionnaire as method. Population taken is all the library of Polytechnic Health Kesehata Ministry of Health of Yogyakarta in April 2017. Samples taken as many as 100 respondents by using incidental sampling technique. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on quantitative descriptive analysis, mutable research results can be summarized as follows: Results score score criteria based on the overall average obtained 3.69 results so that it can be categorized as satisfaction pemustaka on service quality at the Polytechnic Kesehata Health Ministry of Yogyakarta. Of the 24 indicators considered into 5 sub-variables are: 1. Tangible, 2. Reliability, 3. Responsiveness, 4. Assurance, 5. Empathy. Of the five variables that became user satisfaction in choosing services at the Polytechnic Kesehata Library of the Ministry of Health of Yogyakarta which became the main factor for direct evidence variables, the average satisfaction of users is 3.78, so based on the average is quite good. For the weight dimension, the average of the user satisfaction is 3.55, so that based on the average is good. For the dimension of responsiveness, the average of the user satisfaction is 3.65, so that based on the average is quite good. For the guarantee dimension, the average of the user satisfaction is 3.77, so that based on the average is good. For the empathy dimension, the average of the user satisfaction is 3.72, so based on the average it is quite good. Keywords: Service Quality, Library Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : Tingkat Kepuasan Pemustaka Terhadap Kualitas Layanan Pada Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehata Kementerian Kesehatan Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket sebagai metode utama dan dokumentasi. Populasi yang diambil adalah seluruh pemustaka Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehata Kementerian Kesehatan Yogyakarta pada bulan April 2017. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan teknik insidental sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : Hasil skor kriteria penilaian berdasarkan nilai rata-rata secara keseluruhan didapat hasil 3.69 sehingga dapat dikategorikan bahwa kepuasan pemustaka terhadap kualitas layanan pada Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehata Kementerian Kesehatan Yogyakarta. Dari 24 indikator yang dipertimbangkan dijabarkan menjadi 5 sub variabel yaitu : 1. Bukti langsung, 2. keandalan, 3. Daya tanggap, 4. Jaminan, 5. Empati. Dari lima variable yang menjadi kepuasan pemakai dalam memilih layanan pada Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehata Kementerian Kesehatan Yogyakarta yang menjadi pertimbangan utama untuk variabel bukti langsung, nilai rata-rata kepuasan pemustaka adalah 3.78, sehingga berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut tergolong baik. Untuk dimensi keandalan, nilai rata-rata kepuasan pemustaka adalah 3.55, sehingga berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut tergolong baik. Untuk dimensi daya tanggap, nilai rata-rata kepuasan pemustaka adalah 3.65, sehingga berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut tergolong baik. Untuk dimensi jaminan, nilai rata-rata kepuasan pemustaka adalah 3.77, sehingga berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut tergolong baik. Untuk dimensi empati, nilai rata-rata kepuasan pemustaka adalah 3.72, sehingga berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut tergolong baik. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Layanan, Perpustakaan

Abstract

The level of civilization of a nation can be seen from the maintenance and preservation of its archive. In this respect, archive need to be well managed in a proper system framework. Good archive is managed by archivist who can support the archievement of the process of archiving and improve service for the community in the delivery of information in the institusion or agency. The requires a qualified archive and competence in the field. The image of archive is strongly influenced by the archivists have a great responsibility in the process of filling and can increase the existence of institusion and agency.

Abstract

This study investigated the implementation of "Scan Snap SV600 + Rack2-Filer" – as a digitalization technology- in the Library of Adab Faculty, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. It is important to know the effectiveness of the technology as one of learning materials. The lecture was held by students of Library Department, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in the second semester. It was involved 97 students from three classes in 2015. The approach used in this research was TAM model that was based on the variables of perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), attitude toward behavior (ATU), and behavioral intention (BI). Questionaires collected with the saturated approach were analysed using SPSS version 22. The result showed that the mean score for all of the variables was very high out of maximum score obtainable of 4. T-Test analysis indicated that there was positive and significant effect for some variables, except the perceived usefulness (PU) to the behavioral intention (BI) with effect value of 0,051; and the attitude toward behavior (ATU) to behavioral intention (BI) with effect value of 0,193 . Meanwhile, the most occurred in the perceived ease of use (PEOU) to the perceived usefulness (PU) with effect value of 0,332%. Thus, the easiness becomes higher than usefulness in using the technology for students. So, there is something more important to teach how the students take the technology in the perceived usefulness than the perceived ease of use.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi pada Search Engine Google dan Yahoo, bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas hasil temuan bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dengan subjek yang diambil dari Library Of Congress Subject Heading (LCSH) 2009.Berdasarkan analisis penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap penelusuran informasi dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa rata-rata nilai ketepatan dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan yang ada di database Google (2,34) dan Yahoo (2,29) mendapatkan nilai ketepatan tinggi. Dapat diartikan bahwa dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan yang ada di database Google dan Yahoo dapat dijadikan pilihan dalam menelusur dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dalam format pencarian file PDF.Nilai ketepatan sebesar 2,34 pada Search Engine Google dan nilai 2,29 pada Search Engine Yahoo dapat ditingkatkan lagi apabila jumlah dokumen-dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dan informasi yang ada di internet terus meningkat jumlahnya. Sehingga semakin tinggi nilai ketepatan dokumen ilmiah bidang ilmu perpustkaan maka semakin banyak pula referensi yang dapat digunakan dalam studi keilmuan bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan. Jika dilihat dari rata-rata nilai ketepatan dalam penelusuran bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dengan menggunakan pencarian berdasarkan file PDF yaitu sebesar Google (2,34) dan Yahoo (2,29), maka Google dan Yahoo dapat dijadikan sebagai sebuah Search Engine untuk menelusur dokumen-dokumen ilmiah khususnya bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan.Nilai ketepatan yang diperoleh sebuah subjek dengan menggunakan subjek bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan adakalanya mendapatkan perolehan yang tinggi, tetapi adakalanya juga mendapatkan nilai ketepatan yang rendah. Secara keseluruhan dokumen-dokumen ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan memiliki nilai ketepatan tinggi, penelusuran informasi ilmiah bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan mendapatkan nilai ketepatan tinggi yaitu sebesar 2,34 sedangkan pada Search Engine Yahoo mendapatkan nilai ketepatan tinggi yaitu sebesar 2,29.AbstractThis research was conducted with technical documentation on the search engine Google and Yahoo, aims to determine the effectiveness of the findings field of Library Science with subjects taken from the Library Of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) in 2009.Based on the analysis of research has been done on the field of information retrieval scientific documents Library Science can be concluded that the average value of the accuracy of scientific documents Library Science in the Google database (2,34) and Yahoo (2.29) getting the value precision. It has been suggested that the scientific documents Library Science in the database Google and Yahoo may be an option in searching scientific documents in the field of Library Science PDF format file search.Accuracy value of 2.34 at the Search Engine Google and the value of 2.29 at the Search Engine Yahoo can be increased further if the number of documents the scientific field of Library Science and information available on the Internet continues to increase. The higher of the precision of scientific document of the library science, a growing number of references that can be used in the scientific study of the field of Library Science. If seen from the average value of precision in the field of Library Science search using a search based on Google's PDF file that is equal to (2.34) and Yahoo (2.29), then Google and Yahoo can be used as a Search Engine to search documents in particular scientific field of Library Science.Perbandingan Efektivitas Penelusuran Bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan50Values obtained accuracy of a subject using the subject field of Library Science occasionally get high returns, but sometimes also scores low precision. Overall scientific documents Science Library has a value higher accuracy, the scientific information retrieval field of Library Science scores high accuracy that is equal to 2.34, while the Search Engine Yahoo obtain high accuracy that is equal to the value of 2.29

Abstract

The document produced by an organization will eventually experience a shift from print to electronics it is because along with the development of information technology. The aim of this article; (1) To find out how the process of creation of electronic documents in UD. New Ambarukmo Social Agency, (2) To determine the electronic document storage at UD. New Social Agency Ambarukmo. (3) To know the process of search and retrieval of electronic documents in UD. New Social Agency Ambarukmo. The method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative technique of data pegumpulan non partisiapan observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this paper uses data reduction, data display, and verification and conclusion. The results of this paper is an electronic document produced at UD. New Social Agency (SAB) Ambarukmo is by way of re-typing the contents of the documents listed in print form. The contents of any document incorporated into a form that has been provided in the management system used to manage electronic documents that have been adapted to the type of document. Electronic documents at UD. SAB Ambarukmo deposited into a management system, in which the documents are grouped by type of sales invoices, purchase invoices, and tax invoices. Search electronic documents in UD. SAB Ambarukmo can be done through a management system that is owned by the store to search for documents in a folder that has been provided by the date of the transaction, the name of the publisher / customer, date of publication, and the invoice number.Dokumen yang dihasilkan oleh sebuah organisasi pada akhirnya akan mengalami pergeseran dari hasil cetak ke elektronik, hal ini karena seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Tujuan artikel ini; (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembuatan dokumen elektronik di UD. Badan Sosial Ambarukmo Baru, (2) Untuk mengetahui penyimpanan dokumen elektronik di UD. Badan Sosial Baru Ambarukmo. (3) Untuk mengetahui proses pencarian dan temu kembali dokumen elektronik di UD. Badan Sosial Baru Ambarukmo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah teknik kualitatif deskriptif data pegumpulan non partisiapan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam tulisan ini menggunakan reduksi data, tampilan data, dan verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari makalah ini adalah dokumen elektronik yang diproduksi di UD. Badan Sosial Baru (SAB) Ambarukmo adalah dengan cara mengetik ulang isi dokumen yang tercantum dalam bentuk cetak. Isi dokumen apapun dimasukkan ke dalam bentuk yang telah disediakan dalam sistem manajemen yang digunakan untuk mengelola dokumen elektronik yang telah disesuaikan dengan jenis dokumen. Dokumen elektronik di UD. SAB Ambarukmo disimpan ke dalam sistem manajemen, dimana dokumen dikelompokkan berdasarkan jenis faktur penjualan, faktur pembelian, dan faktur pajak. Cari dokumen elektronik di UD. SAB Ambarukmo bisa dilakukan melalui sistem manajemen yang dimiliki oleh toko untuk mencari dokumen dalam folder yang telah disediakan pada tanggal transaksi, nama penerbitnya.

Abstract

This study describe about one of the activities in information seeking behaviour model proposed by Carol Kuhlthau. This study used a qualitative exploratory with a qualitative approach. In this study, the data accumulation was done by interview, observation and by literature study. In this case, author chose exploration activities therein describes the use of resources and constraints experienced during the seeking information. The result showed that the mural artist use resources from the internet, combining print and the electronic media, as well as using life experience and observation of the environment. The next is, constraints experienced by mural artist. They mention that the constraints of the internet connection, limited information is discovered, and internal factors of the self that become obstacles in search of the information
