Abstract

This research was carried out with the educational management problems that are being faced by several junior high schools in West Aceh Regency consisting of various types of problems that can be seen from school institutions, teaching staff and educational staff. The aim is to improve teacher human resources so that they can increase students' understanding. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Meulaboh and SMP Negeri 3 Meulaboh with the research subjects being the principal, deputy principal and teacher council. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach using descriptive. Data collection from research subjects was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The principal's leadership style is to provide direction to follow the programs needed to improve teacher competency, control teachers, provide direction, protect teachers and provide sanctions if they violate. Meanwhile, the principal's strategy to improve teacher professional competence and teacher pedagogical competence is by placing teachers to participate in all teacher competency programs compulsorily. For supporting factors, there is support from programs from the department and government in improving teacher competency such as the MGMP program, education and training, and teacher training. This is different from the inhibiting factors where there are facilities and infrastructure and a lack of teacher motivation in improving competence.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of human resource management in improving the performance of educators and education staff. This research was carried out from December 2022 - April 2023. Using data collection techniques observation, interviews, documentation and data analysis techniques by reducing data and drawing conclusions . The results of the research show that the human resource management recruitment process in teacher recruitment at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban is carried out starting from the preparation stage with evaluation and analysis of teacher conditions carried out by the principal and representatives of the school curriculum, the data collection stage by analyzing the required teacher positions and other needs related to this, preparation stage, data collection stage, curriculum determination stage, program planning stage, implementation of needs planning for teacher readiness to be carried out or recruitment and selection of teachers who can be empowered to fill non-urgent and vital subjects, planning stage program by creating a teacher procurement program and coaching the creation of teaching equipment, and the implementation stage of teaching staff planning. The implementation of human resource management at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban can be seen from: First, namely the placement of human resources, the placement of human resources at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban is in accordance with the educational background and competencies possessed by an educator, namely in accordance with the main tasks and desires of the educator, second, teacher performance management is carried out by providing or holding training and coaching through MGMP. Third, performance assessment is carried out by the school principal by looking at teacher performance during the learning process both inside and outside the classroom, as well as providing supervision of each teacher and check the attendance list of an educator

Abstract

This research explores vocational curriculum management for student entrepreneurship at SMKS Ulumuddin, Lhokseumawe, using a qualitative descriptive approach. The study delves into curriculum planning, organization, and implementation for student entrepreneurship. Findings reveal the formulation of the school's vision, mission, objectives, tailored implementation plans, and the establishment of a curriculum development team and competence assessment team. The vocational curriculum focuses on meeting students' skill development needs, utilizing practical activities, teaching factory methods, and scheduled work experiences. Evaluation occurs at micro and macro-levels, assessing students' competence with input from stakeholders and external assessors. The head of the school is supported by senior teachers in continuous curriculum development evaluation. The study also highlights the formation of students' entrepreneurial character, achieved through integrating productive subjects, creative entrepreneurial products, PSG implementation, and student immersion in designated areas. Additionally, the research identifies obstacles and supporting factors impacting the vocational curriculum's success, including human resources, teaching methods, facilities, and understanding of industry and entrepreneurship. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into vocational curriculum management, offering guidance on how to foster entrepreneurial skills among students effectively.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the Scientific Inquiry Learning Model Based on Local Wisdom of Dayak Ketapang Culture on students' learning interest, with a focus on existing related literature. Through a review of previously published articles, the study findings highlight that the integration of Ketapang Dayak cultural local wisdom in scientific learning can significantly increase students' interest in learning. Research also emphasizes the importance of a contextual approach in introducing scientific concepts to students, allowing them to feel the relevance of the subject matter to their lived realities. The results of the analysis show that the integration of local wisdom in scientific learning has great potential to strengthen students' interest in learning and improve their academic achievement. The implications of this research reinforce the importance of promoting and actively supporting the integration of local wisdom in education to create an inclusive and effective learning environment

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses manajemen sumber daya manusia yang ada di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura (MIM PK Kartasura) meliputi perencanaan rekruitmen, proses rekruitmen, pembinaan dan pengembangan, kompensasi, promosi dan pemberhentian tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan di MIM PK Kartasura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis interaktif yang menggambarkan berdasarkan fakta di lapangan dan informasi dari narasumber yang akan digunakan sebagai data. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data oleh peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala HRD MIM PK Kartasura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Sebelum melakukan proses rekruitmen terdapat perencanaan agar tidak terjadi kekurangan guru dengan menganalisis situasi di MIM PK Kartasura. (2) Rekrutmen yang dilaksanakan di MIM PK Kartasura dilaksanakan kondisional yaitu sesuai dengan kebutuhan kelas atau bertambahnya siswa yang mendaftar di sekolah. (3) Tenaga pengajar di MIM PK juga mendapatkan pembinaan dan pengembangan dari internal sekolah, agar dapat meningkatkan keahlian dan menambah wawasan sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran berjalan dengan maksimal. (4) Evaluasi yang dilakukan di MIM PK Kartasura bertujuan untuk memperbaiki serta meningkatkan kinerja tenaga pendidik. (5) Kompensasi yang diberikan di MIM PK Kartasura yaitu terdiri dari gaji pokok dan tunjangan termasuk tunjangan struktural. (6) Adanya peningkatan jabatan bagi tenaga pendidik yang dianggap mampu mengemban tugas dan adanya pemberhentian tugas bagi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah tentang Peranan Karakter Anak dalam Perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter adalah suatu penanaman nilai-nilai baik kepada anak didik agar menjadi manusia yang seutuhnya (yaitu menjadi insan kamil). Pendidikan karakter dianggap penting untuk memperbaiki moral bangsa Indonesia melalui jalur pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter mengunggah dunia pendidikan untuk membentuk dan memperbaiki moral-moral anak didik yang semakin merosot. Penulis menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) yang objek penelitiannya dicari lewat beragam informasi kepustakaan (buku, jurnal ilmiah, dokumen) dan lain sebagainya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengumpulkan data-data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci tentang peranan karakter anak dalam perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan. Penulis mengambil dua perspektif dari sisi filsafat pendidikan umum dan filsafat pendidikan Islam. Dari perspektif Filsafat Umum ialah Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Menurut Ki Hadjar Dewantara pendidikan haruslah bersifat nasional. Proses pendidikan memiliki pencapaian target berupa proses transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan transformasi nilai untuk pembentukan karakter anak didik. Pembentukan karakter anak didik perlu melibatkan tri pusat pendidikan (keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat). Sedangkan dari sisi pandang filsafat pendidikan Islam ialah tokoh filsafat Al Rasyidin. Pendidikan karakter dimulai dari pendidikan akhlaq. Dalam Islam, akhlaq adalah akar dari segala kebaikan dan keutamaan yang akan memberi nilai setiap amal atau perilaku manusia. Selain itu, Proses pembentukan karakter bisa juga melalui pendidikan yang dibangun atas dasar konsepsi Islam tentang manusia sebagai makhluk yang memiliki kesatuan utuh dan terintegrasi antara ‘aql, qalb, dan nafs. Proses pembentukan, pembinaan, dan pengembangan kepribadian Islam diawali dari tazkiyah kemudian beranjut dengan ta’lim, tarbiyah atau ta’dib.

Abstract

Dayah, as a traditional Islamic educational institution in Aceh, has played a vital role in shaping character and preserving Islamic traditions in society. However, amidst contemporary challenges and globalization, the management practices of dayah remain under-researched, particularly from the perspective of local wisdom that forms the social foundation of Acehnese communities. This article aims to conceptually analyze how the local wisdom-based educational management of dayah contributes to sustaining Islamic values within Acehnese society. This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method, focusing on the review of academic literature related to Islamic educational management, Acehnese local wisdom, and the role of dayah. The analysis draws upon books, journals, theses, and relevant documents. The findings indicate that local values such as deliberation (musyawarah), reverence to scholars (ta’zim), communal cooperation (gotong royong), and exemplary leadership are deeply embedded in the dayah management practices. These values significantly contribute to forming an adaptive, sustainable, and culturally rooted educational system. The article concludes that dayah’s local wisdom-based management is not only effective in preserving Islamic traditions but also offers a viable model for Islamic educational development in Indonesia. Hence, integrating modern management systems with indigenous values is essential to support the sustainability of culturally embedded Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Local wisdom-based education is an approach that integrates cultural values, customs, and traditional knowledge into the learning process. In the digital age marked by globalisation, national education faces the challenge of preserving local cultural identity while adapting to technological advancements. Local wisdom is not merely a cultural heritage but also a tool for shaping the character and ethics of students, with values such as cooperation, tolerance, and respect for nature that are relevant to be internalised in education.This study aims to examine the urgency and strategies for implementing local wisdom in digital education. Using a qualitative method based on literature review and observation, it was found that integrating local values into the curriculum and digital learning media can strengthen students' identity and foster cultural awareness. Digitalising cultural content such as folk tales, traditional games, and local arts is an important step for preserving values amid the global flow of information.In conclusion, local wisdom-based education plays a vital role in shaping a generation that is rooted in culture yet adaptable to the progress of the times. Collaboration between schools, cultural communities, and policy makers is essential for the sustainable implementation of local wisdom-based education.

Abstract

 Penelitian dalam skripsi ini dilatar belakangi oleh sebuah fenomena dalam proses pembelajaran yang ada di MTs Negeri 1 Aceh Selatan, saat proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran Fiqih, terdapat siswa yang kurang memperhatikan pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung, ada yang asik berbicara dengan teman sebangkunya, ada yang tidur di atas meja bahkan ada yang dengan sengaja melemparkan gumpalan kertas kepada teman-teman. Sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa menurun dalam pelajaran Fiqih dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 60,80 dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 32% pada pra siklus. maka peneliti mencoba menggunakan metode Snobwall Throwing. Diharapkan akan ada peningkatan hasil belajar dan membuat proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih baik, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas dan juga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui Metode Snobwall Throwing pada pelajaran Fiqih di kelas VIII-A MTs Negeri 1 Aceh Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Class Action Research) sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII-A MTs Negeri 1 Aceh Selatan berjumlah 25 siswa diambil secara total sampling dalam penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan tes. Sementara instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, angket dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kolaboratif yaitu pengumpulan data secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata nilai 87.38%, dan respon siswa 81,60% yang berkategori baik. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa dengan penggunaan metode Snobwall Throwing pada mata pelajaran Fiqih dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-A MTs Negeri 1 Aceh Selatan. Berdasarkan kesimpulan ini, maka disarankan kepada rekan guru agar menguasai dan mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran terbaru seperti metode Snobwall Throwing supaya suasana pembelajaran bisa hidup, bervariasi dan terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Erik H. Erikson’s ideas on the psychosocial development of children and their relevance to religious growth. Erikson’s theory, which highlights eight stages of human development particularly early childhood suggests that children’s religious experiences are closely linked to the formation of trust, autonomy, and initiative. This research employs a qualitative approach through a literature study. The findings indicate that children’s religious development cannot be separated from their psychosocial dynamics, emphasizing the vital role of parents and the surrounding environment in nurturing religious values.
