Abstract

            This study aims to assess the gap in Enrichment Program in SMPN 3 Tangerang Selatan. This research used DEM (Discrepancy Evaluation Model) model or gap evaluation model which consists of input, process and output aspects. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method through technique of data analysis in the form of interview, observation and document study. Sources of data were obtained from the school principal, program coordinator, vice principal of facilities and infrastructure, treasurer of the program, administration, classroom teachers and enrichment learner. Evaluation results show that there is a gap in enrichment program at SMPN 3 Tangerang Selatan. In the mean input aspect the gap is 30.08% is in the low category. In the mean process aspect the gap is 35.02% is in the medium category. In the output aspect, the average gap of 7.19% is in the low category.

Abstract

The aim of the education supervision is to improve professional and technical skills for teachers, principals, and other school personnel to make the school's education process more qualified. And most importantly, the supervision of this education is done on the basis of cooperation, and the way more human. SEducation is instrumental in giving ease and helping the headmaster and teachers to develop the optimal potential.Judging by the function of supervisionas follows: (a). As a coordinator he can coordinate teaching and learning programs, the duties of staff members of different activities among the teachers. (b). As a consultant he can provide assistance, together to consult the problems that the teacher experienced both individually and in groups. According to the use of technical supervision. (c) As leader of the group he can lead a stafguru in developing the potential of the group, while developing the curriculum, lesson materials and professional needs of the teachers together. (d). As an evaluator he can help teachers assess the outcome and learning process, can assess the developing uricum. He must also learn to look at himself. Judging from the defendant and its function, the supervision is very important in improving the quality of education, initially supervision only ensures that the teachers perform their duties professionally, of course will ultimately improve the quality of education with Professional teachers in the school. More and more teachers who are guided to become more professional will eat the education.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the influence of organizational climate and achievement motivation on employee performance lecturer at the Faculty of Education, State University of Padang. The population was all lecturers at Faculty of Education UNP consist of 174 lecturer and sample were 55 lecturers. The research data was collected using a questionnaire Likert scale model. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that: 1) Organizational climate positively affect work performance; 2) achievement motivation has positive and significant impact on work performance lecturers; 3) Organizational climate and achievement motivation has positive and significant impact on work performance lecturers of Faculty of Education UNP 31.6%.

Abstract

Basically gifted children have different characteristics with children in general. Advantages of these gifted children whom they thought was the power that exceeds any other normal children. These differences have implications for educational practices in schools. Teachers as teachers, educators, trainers and mentors for gifted children are expected to have sufficient knowledge at the level of theory and practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the leadership and supervision of employee discipline and to know whether there is a significant relationship between supervisor leadership to work discipline employees at UPTD Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. The population is all employees of Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. Data were analyzed by using product moment correlation formula. The results of data analysis showed that: supervisor leadership to the employees is in pretty good category, employee discipline is in pretty good category, and there is a meaningful relationship between supervisory leadership with employee discipline Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. It means leadership oversight is one factor that affects employee discipline at Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Work commitments play an important role to remain upright founding an educational organization. The absence of commitment would be a source of disaster for the continuity of the organization. Therefore, leaders and followers are required to have high work commitment in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of an educational organization to achieve the expected goals. Work Commitment subordinates can be stimulated to be improved, kept or maintained so as not to lose, then educational leaders need to know the various factors that influence/inhibit commitment to the work to subordinates. From the point of psychological aspects, the factors that influence / inhibit commitment to subordinates work include: work motivation, organizational structure, quality management, leadership skills, career development opportunities, compensation, environmental, cultural and organizational values, communication, participation of subordinates in decision-making, appreciation, climate cooperation, the level of wages, job security is good, and praise or awards. Various tips can be a leader in building commitment to work to subordinates, among others: the growing confidence in the leadership and management, able to coordinate their subordinates, and policy leaders are able to give satisfaction to subordinates.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information about: School head leadership style, motivation of teachers, teacher performance, and the contribution of principal leadership style to teacher performance, the magnitude of the contribution of teachers' work motivation on performance and the huge contribution of leadership style and motivation to work together the performance of teachers in SMAN Tangah Koto Padang District. The population was teachers SMAN Tangah Koto Padang District, comprise of 196 people. Samples were taken with Propotional Stratified Random Sampling technique, comprise of 66 people. Research Intstrument is a questionnaire Likert scale models that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data Analysis was using correlation and simple and multiple regression techniques through the help of SPSS version 12.0. The results showed that: (a) The style of leadership of Senior High School District Tangah Koto Padang generally quite good in carrying out its duties, (b) work motivation of teachers in general have also been good, (c) Teachers Performance in general is also good, (d) Principal's leadership style contributed significantly to the performance of teachers., (e) Work motivation contribute significantly to the performance of teachers and (f) The style of leadership and motivation collectively contribute significantly to teacher performance.

Abstract

As for research purposes in General is to get an idea of the influence of the use of model learning enquiries and the use of computer-based media (CD Movie and Flash) against the results of student learning. This research will be carried out in the Laboratory of the Institute of Religious Aliyah Madrasa Islamic State North Sumatra Medan. Planned research time on bulam May-June 2009/2010 lessons in year II semester of Class XI. This research will be conducted with the implementation plan of learning 3 sessions conducted at the research and may be bulai terminated in June. This research involves two classes of experiments was given different treatment. On the experimental class 1 were given preferential treatment by the granting of inkuiri learning model with computer-based media (Flash Movie and CD) while in class experiments 2 conventional learning with computer-based media (CD Movie and Flash). To find out the results of the students' creativity and studied chemistry and obtained with the application of the treatment on two students are given tests. On the basis of the findings obtained were taken the following conclusion: there is the influence of learning model inkuiri with the use of computer-based media (CD Movie and flash) and conventional learning methods with computer-based media (CD Movie and flash) against the results of the study chemistry students at the MA State Islamic Institute Laboratory in North Sumatra Province of Medan. Students who are taught with a learning model inkuiri with the use of computer-based media (CD and flash Movie) has a higher learning outcomes of the students in belajarkan with conventional learning methods with computer-based media (A flash Movie and CD).Keywords: Inkuiri Learning Computer-Based Media, The Results Of The Study
