Abstract

As a functioning building for public facilities, the building maintenance of components and utilities at FAVE Hotel Diponegoro Semarang are very important, related to the level of customer satisfaction and company performance. One of the main components to be considered in the hotel building is the performance of the rooms, because it determines the level of customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to have Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) about the maintenance and the treatment on terms and conditions. This research study about the standard operating procedure especially in the maintenance and the treatment of architectural component at FAVE Hotel Diponegoro Semarang. The author conducted direct interviews, identified the condition of the rooms’ arsitectural components, and distributed questionnaires to all hotel staff for strengthening the purpose of this study. The result of the questionnaire showed that the standardization of work is important in the implementation of the activities. After the SOP design was formed, the author tested the SOP in the field directly and spread the questionnaires to all hotel staff to conclude the response to the existence of the SOP. The results obtained 0% very less, 0% less, 3% enough, 15% good, and 83% very good, this is based on SOP generated in terms of tools, materials, and methods of implementation. Therefore, hopefully this research can give real contributions and positive effect to the performance of guest room of FAVE Hotel Diponegoro Semarang.Kata kunci : Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), maintenance, architecturalcomponents, hotel

Abstract

Bottom of the river is always composed of a mixture of sediment in non uniform and the grain size distribution in the phase of the transported sediment is generally smoother than the distribution of basic material due to selective transport. This makes estimates of sediment transport in natural rivers is difficult; although it has provided the basic sediment transport equations are quite a lot, there is still controversy regarding its performance. This paper analyzes the accuracy of the count of the basic sediment transport using a dimensionless transport equations of Julien (2002), Brown (1950), Parker (1979), Engelund et Fredsoe (1976), Graf & Suszka (1987), Meyer-Peter & Mueller (1948), and Recking (2006) compared to Einstein (1950) formula. Methods discrepancy ratio (r) is used to demonstrate the suitability of the good (goodness of fit) between the results calculated for comparison. Based on the spread of the data on the graph of a diagonal line (line of perfect agreement) and on the basis of the percentage of data in the range of discrepancy ratio values are given, a matter of sediment transport parameters using the equations of Graf & Suszka give the most close to the matter of using the Einstein equation, compared with six other counts equation.

Abstract

Nowadays as the mobility of a person develop tends to require a shorter time, where time is a commodity that can’t be saved or stored so that time is very important to everyone. In this case the time value changes according to the level of income. When faced with two choices of Ring Road and Existing Road Ambarawa, person with high income levels tend to more appreciate the value of time by choose a route that has a value of time much more efficient. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the time value of road users traveling in the magnitude of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) for route selection on the Ring Road and Ambarawa Existing Road with Logit Binomial Model. The methodology of this research is to analyze the value of travel time Income Approach method is used, then to analyze the results of the calculation of the Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) formula used PCI (Pacific Consultant International), and then to analyze the route selection with Logit Binomial Model. Results of the analysis can be concluded that the greater the time value of road users, then the probability of route selection-A also increased, due to the time value of road users with greater income, more important than the time value of road users with lower incomes.

Abstract

Concrete is a building material that is inexpensive and easily compacted or made, can meet their needs both in terms of strength and in terms of span length dimensions required. Advances in technology and the improvement of public welfare encourage residential development into a multi-storey building lots (flats) with reinforced concrete products. The rapid development of home stores, or so-called good-story office two (2) or (three) were not followed appropriate equipment for anticipated fire hazard. So sometimes when there is a fire and in addition to material losses also no casualties. Concrete is known material which is resistant to fire when it burns for a long time and high temperatures will be damaged (compressive strength is going down), certainly in reinforced concrete yuga will occur such things, besides the concrete was broken of course steel reinforced also damaged / decrease its tensile strength. Moreover, the reinforcing steel material is heat conducting material and when at certain high tempertures will melt and fuse so liquid. So that the structure of reinforced concrete as a building component when exposed to heat of fire with high temperatures and a long duration will decrease the tensile strength of steel reinforcement will bepengaruh on the stability of the building structure construction. As a result of the reinforced concrete structure with concrete cover thickness of 3 cm if burned by hot embers will decrease the strength of the quality of concrete K 175 if burned to 4 hours more will lose compressive strength of up to 52% and the loss of value of tensile strength in the reinforcing steel to 22%. This assessment is on post-burn conditions (specimen cold conditions). In the burn duration to 8 hours, the compressive strength of concrete K 175, a loss of power by 67% and the loss of tensile strength grades of reinforcing steel at 24.16% (specimen cold onditions or post-combustion testing).

Abstract

User-storey building in the activity from one floor to another floor of a multistory building need of vertical transportation (elevators). Elevator or lift is a vertical transportation used to transport people or goods. Elevators are generally used in the high rise buildings, typically more than three or four floors. Elevator specifications determined by the capacity, speed and carrying capacity. Selection is based on the use of elevators in the building people traffic, travel time back (round trip times), the peak time of use (peak-up times) and the waiting time in terms of capacity (handling capacity), the speed of the elevator. Adequate quantity for vertical transportation is an important factor, as it will affect the quality of service in a building, so we need a maintenance management that can manage performance elevators. Good elevator maintenance management includes periodic maintenance, checking the components, replacement of components that need to be replaced and the estimated cost of maintenance that is necessary to issue any annually building management. In Semarang city there are plenty of high rise office buildings, one of which is Perum Perhutani Unit I Central Java. The building has seven floors are used for the activities of the members. The method used in this research namely direct observation, primary and secondary data collection and data processing. From the results of data processing it can be concluded that the number of elevators in the building needs Perum Perhutani Unit I Central Java should totaling 3 units, while currently only available 2 units. In addition, the elevator maintenance management obtained regularly presented in the form of a checklist and budget maintenance costs as well as the replacement of some damaged components.Kata Kunci : elevator, kebutuhan, pemeliharaan

Abstract

The use of land, especially settlements located in not feasible uninhabitable zones, has the potential to cause vulnerability to disasters. The occurrence of land conversion that to continuously lead to the use of space to be incompatible with the use of land, many disasters that arise due to the change of land function, uncontrolled land use change can increase the risk of landslide disaster. Landslides disaster can occur due rise to do haphazard cutting way do which makes the soil conditions become unstable causing to the slopes is getting steeper, causing the value of the safety factor to slope stability to be lower.Mining of land in Ngaliyan hill of Semarang using heavy equipment and hillside cutting due has caused the of slope conditions to be vulnerable. Mining the land what initiated by PT. IPU, in the Temple Industrial Estate has caused environmental damage that impacts, among others, the occurrence of mud floods during the rainy season arrives, the creation of critical land that caused the vulnerability of landslides. From the identification of soil conditions in the territory of housing hill BPI in location Block Q of soil testing results in the field, the type of soil in the form of clay with low carrying capacity. While the test results of soil samples in laboratory is carrying capacity lowest qu = 0.897 kg / cm2.From the stability analysis of the slopes of the safety factor to slope stability is getting smaller. So that conditions of the slopes the soil in the locations territory of hill Housing BPI become prone.From evaluation of the results of the analysis on the slope stability as the main cause due to the low value of the safety factor to the slope stability is the natural condition factor and human activity, namely the soil layer with low carrying capacity and to due excavation of soil on the side of slopes.Kata kunci : soil excavation, slope stability analysis, safety factor, mitigation

Abstract

In the district of Pati, precisely in the area of Gedudero Village, Sukolilo District, is one of the milled corners. Milled Padas can be applied as a substitute for sand and stone times on the foundation. The purpose of this study was to find out the physical  haracteristics (compressive strength) mortar mixture of ground beans and utilize milled pad as a substitute of fine aggregate in the manufacture of efficient mortar.The specimens made are cube shaped pieces of 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm with mixture ratio 1 PC: 4 Sand; 1 PC: 3 Sand: 1 Grind Padas; 1 PC: 2 Sand: 2 Grind Padas; 1 PC: 1 Sand: 3 Grind Padas; 1 PC: 4 Grind Padas. From the graph of test results of 28-day mortar strength pressures, it is known that the maximum compressive strength achieved by mortar with a mixture ratio of 1 PC: 3 Sand: 1 Grind Padas mixture of 144.84 kg / cm2. Mortar is made without using a mixture of grind padas with a ratio of 1 PC : 4 Sand yields a compressive strength of 132.88 kg / cm2. For the lowest compressive strength, obtain on mortar with mixture cement 1 Cement: 4 Grind padas of 109.80 kg / cm2. While to obtain an efficient mixture, obtained on mortar with a mixture of 1 PC: 1 PS: 3 PG. This grind padas can replace the sand with a certain mixture ratio.Kata kunci : grind padas, compressive strength, mortar

Abstract

Sika-215 Grout is ready grouting material that has multiple features have expanded properties and very easy in use, that is just simply add water with a specific ratio. Many application are already using this material for purposing of anchorage bolts, precast concrete connections, but more broadly-215 sika grout can be used for machine foundations, column base plates, foundation support a bridge, and so on. The purpose of this study to determine how many influence the shape and length of anchorage against strong pull between the anchor-reinforced concrete grout Sika 2l5. Specimens in this study a concrete cube 15x15x15 cm 2 for the strong pull and testing of concrete cylinders with a diameter of 15cm, a height of 30 cm for the characteristic compressive strength testing, the concrete mix design based on the K-225 at 28 days, while the iron anchor used is concrete screw diameter of 16 mm. The results showed that the long form of anchor and anchoring to the real effect of the strong pull Out force is generated. With a surface area of 225 cm2 test piece, grout Sika grouting material 215 provides a powerful pull an average of 6834 ton maximum length that occurs in the form of anchoring 14cm straight (type-a, and 6 cm diameter hole grouting.

Abstract

The elevator is a vertical transport equipment that is used as a tool to facilitate the activities both human and goods to lead up particular floor in buildings. Moch. Ichsan building is one-storey building in Semarang that use elevator as transportation vertical lift. It needs effective and efficient elevator planning in order to operate the lift optimally. This should be very influential the building occupants comfort as lift users. One of the consequences of lack maturation of the lift planning is the queque during rush hours. As a result it is required some analysis of the existing elevator in Moch.Ichsan building. Elevator efficiency can be analyzed by calculated elevator needs that has a dependency on several variables such as speed lift, lift capacity, lift waiting time, number of buildings' residents, and how large the building is. While lift effectiveness could be obtained from schedulling preparation and budget needs involved in any preventive maintenance lift. Research methodology used in this study are interview, observation, secondary data collection, and data processing. From the results of data processing can be concluded that the efficiency and effectiveness of the elevator by 75% lift need are 4 units while the lift provided only 3 unit. The result also showed some schedule preventive maintenance and preventive maintenanceon lift budget in one year period.

Abstract

Penggaron area is one of the places that produce bricks in the city of Semarang. In producing it, then it will generate waste that is the brick itself. On the other hand the use of paving blocks are increasing with growing age. Various innovations have been made in making paving block one broken bricks using waste as a substitute material fine aggregate sand. The purpose of this study is the utilization of waste broken bricks Penggaron as a partial replacement of sand in the manufacture of paving blocks, as well as to determine the optimal compressive strength of paving blocks are made with a mixed composition 1 PC: 6 Ps (control group); 1pc: 5 Ps: 1Bt; 1pc: 4 Ps: 2 Bt; 1pc: 3 Ps: 3 Bt; 1pc: 2 Ps: 4 Bt; 1pc: 1 Ps: 5 Bt. The test object is made rectangular with a size of 21 cm x 10.5 cm x 6 cm. From the test results 28 days highest compressive strength achieved by paving block with a mixed composition of 1: 6 in the amount of 193.44 kg / cm2. And the lowest compressive strength achieved by the composition of the mixture of 1: 2: 4 that is equal to 102.63 kg / cm2. From the graph has been created, obtained the equation y = -13,78x + 197.12 as well as the correlation coefficient R of 0.5791. The equation shows that the increasing mix of brick lower compressive strength and the R value implies a comparison mix (cement: sand: bricks) have a rather low influence of compressive strength.
