Abstract

Abstract. A research has been done about the use of structured exercises method to improve students’ activity and learning outcomes in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 6 Banjarmasin on the buffer solution material. This research aims to determine the activity of the teacher, students’ activities and learning outcomes in learning buffer solution material by using structured exercise method. This study uses classroom action research design with 2 cycles. First cycle consists of 3 meetings and second cycle consists of 1 meeting. The subjects of the research were students of XI IPA 1 SMAN 6 Banjarmasin, there were 35 students consist of 10 male students and 25 female students. The data collection techniques uses engineering test and non-engineering test. The data analysis uses percentage technique. The results show that by using structured exercise method in teaching buffer solution material can increase the activity of teachers and students in the learning process. Student learning outcomes in the materials of the buffer solution by using structured exercise method increased from an average of 35.12% on the pretest to 74.42% in the first cycle and a 86.54% in the second cycle.Keywords : learning methods, structured exercise, buffer solution.

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been conducted to aim that implementation of metacognitive strategy with IKRAR model of learning can be used to improve students result’s learning about buffer solution and hydrolysis of salt in XI-IPA class of Darul Hijrah Putri. This research purposed to investigate teachers activities, student activities and how the effect of implementation of metacognitive strategy with IKRAR model of learning can be used to improve students result’s learning about buffer solution and hydrolysis of salt. This research used the classroom action research design (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects of this research are 32 students of XI-IPA of Darul Hijrah Putri. The Data collected through the test results of the study, observation, question form, interview and documentation. The result of the research shows that (1) metacognitive strategy with IKRAR model of learning can improve the quality of teachers in the learning activities about 68,67% to 78,89%. (2) metacognitive strategy with IKRAR model of learning can improve activities students from 67,49% to 77,92%. (3) metacognitive strategy with IKRAR model of learning success increase the percentage of students from 57,48% to 82,34%. Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian, untuk mengetahui keefektifan strategi pembelajaran metode ceramah ber-background musik instrumental klasik pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia ditinjau dari aspek kognitif dan afektif siswa.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (action research), Siklus I dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan, siklus II dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan, sehingga untuk dua siklus terdapat empat kali pertemuan.Tahapan-tahapan dalam pelaksanaan setiap siklus yang akandilakukan:Perencanaan,Pelaksanaan Tindakan, Observasi dan Evaluasi, Analisis dan Refleksi.Subjek pada penelitian ini diambil secara acak dari dua kelas yang ada pada kelas X SMA Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X-B yang berjumlah 20 orang (7 orang siswa dan 13 orang siswi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Strategi pembelajaran metode ceramah ber-background musik instrumental klasik efektif diterapkan pada materi ini ditinjau dari aspek kognitif & afektif siswa, dapat dilihat dari indikator keberhasilan belajar siswa yang sangat tinggi mencapai 84% dan pernyataan sikap yang baik terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan.Kata Kunci: musik instrumental klasik, aspek kognitif, afektif siswa

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to (1) improve learning outcomes concept of solubility and solubility product, (2) determine the ability of students to learning affective solubility and solubility product, (3) determine students' response to the application of the learning problem solving in learning solubility and solubility product. This study uses classroom action research design, with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin, amounting to 24 people. Data collection techniques using achievement test engineering and questionnaires. Data analyzed by percentage. The results showed that the solubility of the learning material and the solubility product of problem solving using learning model to improve learning outcomes of students from 76.83% in the first cycle to 84.26% in the second cycle with an increase of 7.43%. Affective abilities of students included in either category 76.5%. Students' response to the learning model of problem solving in learning solubility and solubility product showed a positive response of 85.8%.Keywords : problem solving, solubility and solubility product,learning out comes

Abstract

Abstract. Improving Students’ Achievement By Using Guided Inquiry Model By Helping Students’ Worksheets (LKS) At Buffer Solution Material For Students Of XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin In Academic Year 2012/2013 . A research of buffer solution material has been conducted in XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. This research is aimed to find teachers’ and students’ improvement in activities, students’ achievement (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) and response to the learning by using guided inquiry model by helping students’ worksheets (LKS) at buffer solution material. This research used classroom action research (CAR) design with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and evaluation phases, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were 28 students of XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Data were collected through achievement test, observation, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by percentage technique and elaborated quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the use of guided inquiry model by helping worksheets (LKS) could improve students’ achievement at buffer solution material from the first to second cycle. Teacher activity increased from 57.75 in first cycle to 62.75 in second cycle. Student activity increased from 49.75 in first cycle to 58.25 in second cycle. Students’ achievement increased from 83.18% in first cycle to 96.13% in second cycle. Students’ affective achievement increased from 38.82 in the first cycle to 40.82 in the second cycle with good category. Students’ psychomotor achievement increased from 12.71 in the first cycle with good category to 15.57 in the second cycle with a very good category. Students responded positively to guided inquiry model by helping worksheets (LKS) at buffer solution material.Keywords: guided inquiry model, buffer solution.

Abstract

Abstrak. Miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik telah teridentifikasi terhadap pesertadidik SMA Negeri Kota Banjarmasin melalui studi deskriptif. Sebanyak 129 peserta didik kelas XI IlmuAlam di 4 (empat) SMA Negeri Kota Banjarmasin menjadi responden dengan menggunakan Instrumen UjiMiskonsepsi yang telah divalidasi. Instrumen Uji Miskonsepsi terdiri atas 46 butir pertanyaan yang terdiriatas 10 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda tanpa alasan dan 36 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda denganalasan setengah terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan telah terjadi miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dankonfigurasi elektronik pada peserta didik kelas XI Ilmu Alam di 4 (empat) SMA Negeri kota Banjarmasin.Berdasarkan data hasil implementasi, miskonsepsi tipe-1 dengan persentase lebih dari 20% terjadi padasubkonsep bilangan kuantum magnetik dan hubungannya dengan koordinat Cartesius (x, y, z),menentukan set bilangan kuantum, dan konfigurasi elektron unsur transisi. Sedangkan miskonsepsi tipe-2dengan persentase lebih dari 50% terjadi pada subkonsep bilangan kuantum magnetik dan kaitannyadengan koordinat Cartesius (x, y, z), bilangan kuantum magnetik spin (terutama untuk elektron takberpasangan dalam orbital), menentukan set bilangan kuantum suatu unsur, energi orbital 3d dan 4s, danpenulisan konfigurasi elektron untuk unsur dengan nomor atom > 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapenyebab utama terjadinya miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik pada peserta didikadalah guru dan buku teks kimia yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk menghilangkan ataumemperkecil miskonsepsi secara teoretik khususnya untuk konsep bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasielektronik, direkomendasikan pentingnya sosialisasi atau suatu kegiatan untuk menegaskan konsep yangbenar terkait konsep bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik tersebut.Kata kunci : miskonsepsi, bilangan kuantum, konfigurasi elektronik.

Abstract

Abstract. A study concerning the use of Problem Based Learning Model in colloidal systems matter. This study aims to improve (1) Fitness teacher in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin in colloidal systems, through the application of the model of Problem Based Learning, (2) Activity teacher in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin in colloidal systems, through the application of Problem Based learning Model, (3) critical thinking skills of students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin in colloidal systems through the application of the model of Problem Based Learning, (4) the results of students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin in colloidal systems through the application of the model problem Based Learning. The method used is the PTK with 2 cycles. Research subjects were students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin by the number of students 30 people consisting of 22 women and 8 men. Learning outcomes data were collected using a test of learning outcomes, the data collected using the critical thinking skills and essay test activity data and student teachers using observation sheets. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the activity of teachers in applying the model of Problem Based Learning in the learning process increases every meeting. Activities of students in the learning process increases every meeting. Problem Based Learning model application can improve students' critical thinking abilities of 59.96% in the first cycle to 75.6% in the second cycle. Application of Problem Based Learning Model to improve the mastery of cognitive learning outcomes of students ie from 64.83% in the first cycle, and 83.67% in the second cycle.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, learning outcomes, critical thingking skill, colloidal systems.

Abstrak. Kajian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran bagi kita para pendidik dan calon pendidik IPA untuk mengetahui bagaimana seharusnya keterpaduan di dalam pembelajaran IPA saat ini dapat digunakan dalam menyelematkan lingkungan sekitar kita yang sedang rusak akibat ulah tangan manusia sendiri. Bagaimana seharusnya tema-tema tentang kearifan loka di dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat mewadahi dalam melahirkan dan menanamkan kepedulian lingkungan sedini mungkin kepada peserta didik kita sehingga saat para peserta didik yang pada saat dilakukan pembelajaran masih anak-anak, kemudian jika mereka sudah dewasa mereka memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola, memelihara dan memperbaiki lingkungan sekitar mereka sebagai perilaku yang muncul karena penanaman sikap, nilai dan karakter yang luhur di dalam diri mereka. Dalam artikel ini akan dikaji beberapa hal antara lain pembelajaran IPA; pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA K13; kearifan lokal; karakter kepedulian lingkungan. Abstract

Abstract. There have been development-based assessment of problem solving in the subject matter solubility and solubility product (Ksp). The purpose of this development is to provide appropriate assessment and produce a product that is able to assess students' conceptual understanding and algorithmic. Assessment that has been developed based on the standard of competence, basic competence and learning objectives. Development model used is the model Kemp. This development is done on 10 students of class XI Science SMAN 5 A Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 as a small group of test samples and 30 students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 4 Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 as a limited field test sample. Data collection techniques using achievement test techniques, observation and questionnaires. Expert test results obtained average percentage of 95% are good, the results of a small group of students learning test either category 73.81%, 80.63% limited field test is very good category and the average test score student responses is 43 with a small group category as well as a limited field test is 39.47 with either category. That is, the students gave a positive response. Results show the development of problem solving-based assessment in the subject matter solubility and solubility product (Ksp) fit for use in learning. Assessment of students developed can be used in understanding the level of representation in the teaching of chemical solubility and solubility product (Ksp).Keywords: conceptual understanding, algorithmic understanding, problem solving, solubility andsolubility product (Ksp), the level of chemical representation.
