Abstract

The problem in this research is the implementation of microteaching in PAI departement  FITK IAIN Surakarta has not been evaluated and need to know the urgency after the existence of several courses of learning strategy that is substantially the same as the implementation of microteaching activities.The research method used is descriptive, carried out for three months since April-June 2016. The population of this research is the students of semester V of academic year 2015/2016 that follow the microteaching of 450 students, the research sample is 260 students. The results show that: 1) The implementation of microteaching as a whole has fulfilled the provisions of microteaching implementation as stated in the microteaching guide book. Each student performs teaching practice as much as 4-5 times, previously required to prepare RPP which will be reviewed and corrected by supervisor (DPL). In implementing the teaching practice, students are required to practice one of the teaching strategies in accordance with the material to be submitted; 2) Although the students have obtained several courses of instructional strategies that note more of the practice of teaching both groups and individuals, but 81% of students stated that microteaching is still needed. Keywords: Analysis, Microteaching.

Abstract

The development of pesantren, schools and madrasah is a form of culture. They have dynamism in the society development. Pesantren, schools, and madrasah are also a manifestation of the lives of people or groups of people in the educational environment. The development of pesantren, school and madrasah as a unity of the development of educational institutions in Indonesia are interconnected with each other, so the cultural development of the three educational institutions can be seen from the cultural model proposed by van Peursen, covering mythological, ontological and functional phases. This article reveal and explore the development of pesantren, schools, and madrasah in cultural reviews. Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses Ahmad Tafsirs thought about the management of forming Insan Kamil, through a study of literature focused on the criteria of human kamil, its characteristics and its relation to the objectives of Islamic education. It is known that the general purpose of Islamic education is to strive for the development of human potential to achieve the perfection of insan kamil, people of faith, piety, and obedient worship to Allah SWT. The perfect Muslim is the man who has smart and intelligent mind, strong body, pious heart to Allah SWT, and good skill, is able to solve the problems scientifically and philosophically, possesses and develops science, philosophy, and heart that is capable of connecting with the supernatural. The eight domains above imply that the concept of insan kamil is very relevant with the goal of Islamic education, which equally wants to form human or learners who are smart, faithful and devoted. Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed at: (1) describing the importance of multiple intelligences strategy in English learning and (2) describing the implementation of multiple intelligences strategy in English learning at SD Inklusi Semai Jepara. The writer uses Case Study method to describe deeply the implementation of multiple intelligences strategy in English learning at SD Inklusi Semai Jepara. Besides, the writer tries to find out the phenomenon in implementing of multiple intelligences strategy in English learning at SD Inklusi Semai Jepara.The findings of this study are: (1) The implementation of the MI method in SD Inklusi Semai Jepara has been starting since 2011; (2) the strategies that usually used in English learning are identification, clasification, song, games, simulation, and role play; (3)The contents of the lesson plan made by English teachers are identity, eksploration, elaboration, confirmation, MI strategy, and authentic assesment; (4) the supporting factors in implementing of multiple intelligences strategy in English learning at SD Inklusi Semai Jepara are from teachers, students, and parents; (5)the inhibiting factor  in implementing of MI strategy in English learning at SD Inklusi Semai Jepara is the limited time for teachers in  preparing all of the class administrations.  Keywords: Multiple intelligences strategies, English for young learner, Case study

Abstract

Abstract: Language Development Center (PPB) IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon is one of the Technical Implementation Unit of higher education related to intensive English and Arabic development program. All students from semester one to four must follow and graduate on this program. Assessment of the implementation of this program based on student perceptions of 100 samples is an evaluative study conducted by researchers. Using a questionnaire as a research instrument, it contains input, process, output, lecturers and staff indicators in the learning process. From the research results obtained conclusion that the assessment of the implementation of language intensive program on PPB IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon based on students perceptions goes pretty well. Most of the students considered that the lecturers of PPB had prepared the teaching well, mastered the taught material, and the exam questions were in accordance with the taught material. Some things that need to be improved are intensive course lectures held on Saturday Sunday, late module distribution, team teaching implementation that has not been optimal, and poor lecturer behavior. Keywords: Language intensive program, Perception
