This study aim was to determine pulsus frequency of bali cattle in first trimester of gestation. The first trimester of gestation is a vulnerable periods of fetal death . One effort to reduce the failure rate of production due to reproductive disorders during the first trimester of gestation by conducting praesen status. Things that include of praesen status are pulsus frequency. The specific study of normal standard values of bali cattle praesen status during gestation, especially frequency pulsus is not yet available. This research used fifteen bali catlle with first trimester of gestation with clinically health. Pulsus frequency determined by palpating the artery at coccygeal area. The result showed that pulsus frequency 76.66±7.88 times/minute. The result can be used as an indicator to determine bali cattle gestation of health.

The aims of this study was to describe the histologycal structure and histomorphometry of granulocyte in bali cattle post mineral administration. A total of 24 blood samples of bali cattle consist of three treatment groups were used in this study. Blood sampling was done through the jugular vein. The blood slides were made using slide method performed in the field then followed by fixation and staining Hematoxilin Eosin. Granulocyte measurements performed a microscope using a 100x magnification, and then analyzed by analysis of variant. The structire histological analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that administration of minerals in the feed has no significant effect for histomorphometry of the neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils cell. In addition, there was alsos no defference of histological structure of granulocyte in between group.

Phatogenesis and bio-molecular of jembrana disease virus (JDV) only attack B-cell as a target, causing no produced antibody until 2-3 months post infection. Significantly increasing the number of CD8+ T-cells and significantly decreasing of CD4+ T-cells during acute phase affecting in decreased of CD8+:CD4+ ratio, that resulting in increasing sensitifity of animal to secunder infection. Nine bali cattle used in this study grouped based on infection status related to sample collected. Seven bali cattle infected by JDV isolate Tabanan/87 and two other cattle infected by BIV isolate R29, as a negative control (Non-JDV infected cattle). Samples tested of cellular identity and targeted cell, cellular immunity and cytokine expressions. Samples tested by flow cytometry and analyzed by variance. The result showed that the change of T-cell sub-population related to recovery of JVD infection strengthen the role of cellular immunity in a process of healing Jembrana disease. Evidences of enhancement of cytokine gene expressions produced by CDB T-cell mainly by IFN-g and IL-2, indicated the importance of those genes in an infection process and recovery.

This research aims were to increase house hold income of pig farmer by reconstructing of the pig management systems. The methods used in this study were the application of the problem solving techniques through IPTEKDALIPI programs. The captured data were all expenses incurred and income received in one pig production period before and after intervention. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the income of the farmer from 31.4% to 38.77%. It could be concluded that the pig farmer’s income can be increased through improved management of pig farming systems.

The research was carried out to determine the effect of supplementary feeding in bali cattle to length dimensions of the calf. The research object used 16 bali cattle and newborn calf of bali cattle. eight calf of bali cattle from the cow who is given additional food and eight calf of bali cattle for the cow is not given additional food are maintained by farmers in Sobangan village, Mengwi district, Badung regency. The research was conducted by means of supplementary feeding in the cow after six months of pregnancy (during the three months before birth). The data analyzed by T test. The result showed that the size of the long dimension of calf with supplement feeding compared with feeding control not significant.

This study aimed to determine the effect of adding minerals on the feed to the chest circumference, body length and height of male Bali cattle. A total of 48 of 10-12 months male bali cattle from four different places used in this study, consist of 12 male Bali cattle from each place. The chest circumference, body length and height of bali cattle were measured before treatment (base line), 1, 2 and 3 months respectively after treatment. The results showed that mineral administration in the feed was significantly increasing the chest circumference, but did not affect to body length and height of male bali cattle.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) collected from Lead (Pb) polluted water in feed total and differential leukocyte counts of pigs. This study was an experimental study and done used a completely randomized design. The sample that been used was blood from a total of eight Landrace swines, consisted of four groups: pigs were feed without hyacinth (A), pigs were feed with 2,5% hyacinth (B), pigs were feed with 5% hyacinth (C), and pigs were feed with 7,5% hyacinth (D). Blood were then collected from auricularis superficialis vein. The total and differential leukocytes were checked in the Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University. Total leukocytes count were measured by auto analyzer Scil Vet ABC (ABC Vet 16p). The blood were also processed for blood smear preparation by Giemsa staining before performing examination by using 100x magnificence under a microscope using straight edge method. Data were then analyzed by one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the administration of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) collected from Lead (Pb) polluted water was not influence the total and differential leukocyte counts in pigs.

Bali cattle is one of national cattle germplasm from Bali that needs to be conserved especially the female cattle. Currently, there have not been unreported research about heart rate of bali cattle’s and still be guided by others breed cattle’s. This research aim to determine inventory of heart rate bali female cattle in the second trimester of pregnancy. Cattle’s are examinating came from the bali cattle’s breeding centre in Sobangan village Mengwi district Badung regency amount to fiveteen cattle’s. Analysis data used descriptive test and then T test. The result research shown mean of the old pregnancy from 4 month, 5 month and 6 month heart rate of bali female cattle’s in the second trimester of pregnancy is 67,40±8,41/minutes, 75,93±8,62/minutes and 76,06±11,40/minutes. The conclusion for this research is more old pregnancy of bali cattle then frequency of heart rate also increase.

The research aimed to find out the influence of muscle type and longer storage of bali beef to the nutrition value consisting of five parameters included water, fat, protein, ash and carbohydrate content originally from the active muscle and passive muscle of bali beef. The results showed that the effect of muscle type was significantly against water, ash, protein and carbohydrate content of bali beef. Moreover, longer storage significantly affect to the water, fat and carbohydrate content. Ash, protein and carbohydrate content of active muscle were higher than the passive muscle, while the water and fat content of active muscle were lower than the passive muscle
