Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and dissemination of tax on tax compliance PBB-P2 on Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Batam officer. Quality of service includes quality procedure , terms of service, clarity of service personnel, discipline of service personnel, responsible of servicr personnel, ability of service personnel, speed of service, gets justice ministry, courtesy and friendliness, the reasonableness of the service charge, suitability costs, certainty service schedules,  environmental comfort and safety. Socialization includes publications, events, notifications, personal approach and the inclusion of identity, community involvement. As well as tax compliance includes the right time, arrears, criminal and audit. Respondents are Taxpayer Personal which have a NPWP and never had service experience in Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Batam Office. 100 respondents predetermined with slovin method taken by accidental sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and data from the internal Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Batam Office, analysis tool used is regresi logistic method backward stepwise (wald ). From the analysis regresi logistic known that have a significance value below 0,005 is variable reliability and emphat. A rtinya variable quality of service and tax socialization simultaneously (synchronously) exhibited significantly impact on tax compliance in UPT PBB-P2 at Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Batam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh tingkat upah terhadap kinerja karyawan; 2) pengaruh kesejahteraan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan; 3) pengaruh loyalitas kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan 4) pengaruh secara bersama- antara tingkat upah, kesejahteraan dan loyalitas terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengujian hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel dari populasi karyawan bagian lapangan dan kantor pada PT. Angkasa Engineers Indonesia, yang berjumlah82 orang dengan teknik sampel acak sederhana (random sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, ujiF,uji t serta uji R2.            Hasil analisis regresi memperoleh persamaan: Y = 11,198 + 0,280X1 + 0,199X2 + 0,237X3 yang artinya kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat upah, kesejahteraan dan loyalitas. Hasil analisis regresi juga memperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,231 terhadap kinerja karyawan. Karena nilai R Square dibawah 5% atau cenderung mendekati nilai 0 maka dapat disimpulkan Kemampuan variabel independen dalam menjelaskan variasi variabel amat terbatas yaitu hanya 23,1%, sedangkan 77,9% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti., misalnya lingkungan kerja, kepuasan, kompensasi dan lain-lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat Pengaruh Tingkat Upah, Kesejahteraan dan Loyalitas Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT. Angkasa Engineers Indonesia. Hasil perhitungan statistic menunjukkan nilai f hitung Fhitung  sebesar 7,817 dengan nilai probabilitas (sig) = 0,000. Nilai Fhitung (7,817) Ftabel (2,72) dan nilai sig. lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas atau 0,000 0,05 maka “Tingkat Upah, Kesejahteraan dan loyalitas secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT. Angkasa Engineers Indonesia”

Abstract

This thesis entitled "Analysis of Effect of Brand Awareness, Perceived Value, Perceived Quality on customer loyalty seasoning products Kokita in Batam". The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of implementation of the increase in brand value and quality of the products seasoning in Batam. Data collected through questionnaires and conducted on 89 respondents. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS version 20. The sample statistical technique or by using formula slovin study estimates the error rate of 10% and testing techniques of data used in this study include test validity by factor analysis, reliability tests with Cronbach Alpha , Classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis, to test and prove the research hypothesis. Hypothesis testing using t test showed that the variable Brand awarenes, variable effect on customer loyalty, perceived value, and the effect on customer loyalty Perceived quality variable effect on customer loyalty. Then through the F test showed that the three independent variables simultaneously affect the customer loyalty. Figures Adjusted R2 of 0.940 indicates that 94% variable Loyalty can be explained by the three independent variables in the regression equation, while the remaining 6% is explained by other variables outside the three variables used in the study

Abstract

           The research was conducted in General Affair Work Of Mayor Office Batam City. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of Work Culture and  work satisfaction , either separately (partial) or jointly (simultaneously).            In this study, the authors use a sensus of 50 employees  taken as  from the total population (employees). While this type of data is primary data and secondary data. The primary data source obtained from the questionnaires with employees who are competent in the General Affair Work Of Mayor Office Batam City. While the sources of secondary data obtained  of General Affair Work Of Mayor Office Batam City documents and from the literatures related which can support as well as useful for this study. Data gathering technique conducted by way of interviews, questionsand, Observation. Data analysis was performed with descriptive statistics, which are used to describe and given picture of the object studied through a sample of whith sensus motehode data obtained in the field associated with the relevant theories and techniques of the quantitative analysis of the data that has been given a score according to the scale of measurement used the Likert scale and the test results using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20.           From the results of the study authors conclude that the partial work culture (X1) has positive and significant impact on  (Y)Performance employees, with the test results for 4,689 and significant 0,000 0,005, while the work satisfaction performance of the employes (X2) has positive and significant impact on work satisfaction (Y) performance employees, with the test results for 3,216 and significant 0,002 0,005. But simultaneously Work culture and Work satisfaction have a positive and significant (strong) toward Employes Performance. Of General Affair of Mayor Office Batam City of 45,583 and significant 0,000 0,005.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Emotional Intelligence, Commitment, And Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at PT. Yeakin Plastic Industry Batam. Sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sampling, the sample number is same with the total population as 46 responded at QC department of PT. Yeakin Plastic Industry Batam. Types of data sources used are primary data, obtained from the respondents' answers on the questionnaire, and secondary data obtained from the data or documents the PT. Yeakin Plastic Industry Batam, as well as books and journals from previous research. Techniques of data retrieval that is by distributing questionnaires to 46 respondents, and documentation from the company is a brief history , organizational structure , employee data , and others. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20 for Windows. The study states that ( 1 ) partially Emotional Intelligence positive and significant effect on the performance with significant score is 0,001 0,05 ( 2 ) Commitment positive and significant effect on the performance of employees with significant score is 0,007 0,05 ( 3 ) Job Satisfaction positive and significant effect on employee performance with significant score is 0,001 0,05 ( 4 ) Effect of Emotional Intelligence, Commitment, And Job Satisfaction positive and significant effect simultaneously on the performance of employees at PT. Yeakin Plastic Industry Batam with the significant score is 0,000 0,05 on the QC devision. With the value of adjusted R square of 0.545, in this case shows that the performance of employees affected by variables Emotional Intelligence, Commitment, And Job Satisfaction of 54.5 % . The remaining 45.5% is influenced by other variables which is not included in this research method. With multiple linear regression equation Y =  2,932 + 0,272 X1 + 0,313 X2 + 0,352 X3.

Abstract

Quality of faculty and teaching methods to the Understanding accounting (a case study studebt university accounting university of the riau islands of batam)This study aimed to analize whether quality of faculty and teaching methods on Understanding accounting student. This study uses a survey method using primary data obtained from questionnaires. The number samples taken in this study were 70 students of accounting courses university of riau islands of batam.The results obtained by calculation have been done, for quality of faculty of  t test for ( 3.006), while t table for ( 1.998) (t test t table) at a significance level of 0,000, this show that quality of faculty has a significant positive effect Understanding of accounting and the teaching methods of t test at (6.973) while the t table (1.998) ( t test t table) at a significance level of 0,000 mean the teaching methods have a positive influence significantly to the Understanding of accounting.Quality of faculty and teaching methods Simultaneously have a significant positive influence on the Understanding of accounting students with F-test value of 35.339, while the F-table 3.130 (F-test F-table) with a significant level of  0.00.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the association between the investment opportunity set (ios) values as firm growth proxy, size as a control variable and corporate policy decisions, such as financing and dividend policy choice using public firms in indonesia stock exchange. eight proxies IOS are use as firm growth indicator, such as market to book value of asset, market to book value equity, price earning ratio,property, plant and equipment to firm value, capital expenditure to firm value, capital expenditure to book value of total asset, total annual depreciation expense to firm value and variance in total return. the variables were analyzed using common factor analysis. the dependent variables are debt to equity ratio, dividend pay out and dividend yield.  The samples used in this research are selected using purposive sampling method. this research uses 51 companies that published its financial statement on december 31 for the year 2006 until year 2011 with non negative earning. regression method was applied. The result indicates that growth firm have significantly lower financing than non growth firms. it means growth firm in indonesia stock exchange using internal fund in its company than non growth firms. the others results show that growth firms paid dividend bigger than non growth firms.

Abstract

This study intense to determine the financial performance of (Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Investment (ROI), and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER)) on stock prices either partially or simultaneously. The Object of study focused on manufactured companies listed on the PT. Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2007-2011. The selection of samples based on purposive sampling, and database achieved from 12 company sectored on manufactured business. The results of this study indicate that, the variable ROA and the ROE has an influence on stock prices. While other independent variables, namely ROI and DER have no effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, all independent variables ROA, ROE, ROI, and the DER has an influence on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect ofprice and brand to brand purchase decisions Indomie instant noodles to students. This research was done by using Slovin Sampling. Samples taken as many as 95 respondents from the students. Data analysis method used is testing instruments made by testing the validity and reliability while data analysis used is descriptive analysis method, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. These results indicate that prices have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a value of t for 5853 and significant value of 0000; brand and significant influence on purchasing decisions with t value of 3819 and a probability value of 0.000; and simultaneously the price and brand significantly influence the purchase decisions Indomie instant noodle brand in students.
