Abstract

This study intense to determine the financial performance of (Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Investment (ROI), and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER)) on stock prices either partially or simultaneously. The Object of study focused on manufactured companies listed on the PT. Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2007-2011. The selection of samples based on purposive sampling, and database achieved from 12 company sectored on manufactured business. The results of this study indicate that, the variable ROA and the ROE has an influence on stock prices. While other independent variables, namely ROI and DER have no effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, all independent variables ROA, ROE, ROI, and the DER has an influence on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect ofprice and brand to brand purchase decisions Indomie instant noodles to students. This research was done by using Slovin Sampling. Samples taken as many as 95 respondents from the students. Data analysis method used is testing instruments made by testing the validity and reliability while data analysis used is descriptive analysis method, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. These results indicate that prices have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a value of t for 5853 and significant value of 0000; brand and significant influence on purchasing decisions with t value of 3819 and a probability value of 0.000; and simultaneously the price and brand significantly influence the purchase decisions Indomie instant noodle brand in students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence of the influence of audit tenure, reputation of audit firm. Audit quality is measured by earnings surprise benchmark. This approach was adopted by Rossieta and Wibowo from one of Carey and Simnett audit quality analysis models. Hypothesis (1) Audit tenure positively affect to the audit quality, (2) reputation of audit firm positively affect to the audit quality, (3) Firm Size negative affect to the audit quality, (3) Audit tenure and reputation of audit firm have posittively effect to audit quality. The research used 100 sample of manufacturing companies listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) from 2015 – 2019. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method. Data from this study were obtained from financial statements of manufacturing firms drawn from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Indonesian Capital Market Directory. To analyze the effect of independent variable on the dependent variable, data were analyzed by logistic regression analysis. The result shows that audit tenure have positive and significant effect to the audit quality and reputation of audit firm have negatife and have not significant effect to the audit quality

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of location and service quality to the customer satisfaction of product Kredit Cepat Aman (KCA) at PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Bengkong UPC Pondok Asri Batam. The population that used in this research is the customers that have transaction at PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Pondok Asri Batam on April 2013 amounting to 645 customers. While the sample are 86 obtained from the calculation using the Slovin formula. This study was conducted by using multiple linear regression with quantitative analyzes, t-test (partial), F test (simultaneous) and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the research results can be concluded: that location variable has influence but not significant to customers satisfaction but service quality variable has positive influence to customers satisfaction partially. Service quality variable becomes dominant variable which have influence to the costumers satisfaction based on calculations the analysis standardized of coefficients beta has the greatest value. Conclusion of this research is location and service quality as important variables that influence to customers satisfaction. However, it is suggested to the employees of PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Bengkong UPC Pondok Asri Batam have to maintain the service that have given to the customers and also upgrade it to gain better customers satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to improve emotional competence on employee performance, as well as improve work competence on employee performance, and improve emotional competence and work discipline on employee performance at PT Union Plastic Industries. This study took 133 samples from 200 employees at PT Union Plastic Industries. Sampling is done using the random sampling method. The analysis used is multiple regression. By using a 0.05 significance level. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect between emotional competence and work discipline on employee performance, with a significant level of 0,000 (less than 0.05). Thus it means that hypotheses that state emotional competence and work discipline have an association with employee performance can be accepted. It is estimated that there is significant between the variables of emotional competence and simultaneous coordination of the performance of employees of PT Union Plastic Industries with a value of 89,948 (greater than 3.07), with a significance level of 0,000.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the condition of the telecommunications industry in the field of business competition intensifies over time, which makes telecommunications companies vying to create marketing strategies that aim to sustain new and achieve a better market share again. As for the problem of this research is "whether the factors of product quality, and product design influence on consumer loyalty to PT. XL Axiata. Tbk Batam branch ". This study to determine whether the factors that influence consumers to consumer loyalty to XL products especially in communities in the region who use XL Batam. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of each variable, the quality of the product (X1), and product design (X2) on consumer loyalty (Y). In this research, data collection was conducted by questionnaire to 50 respondents XL product users in the Batam region by using a data collection method in this study is a questionnaire, study documentation and interviews. Then conducted data analysis includes testing the validity and reliability, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing by F test and t test analysis and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The data that have met the test of validity, reliability testing, and classical assumption processed to produce a regression equation as follows:Y = 6.008 + 0.333 X1 + 0.222 X2Results of the analysis found that the fourth factor of product quality, and product design has a positive and significant impact on consumer loyalty. Hypothesis testing using t-test showed that the two independent variables studied was shown to significantly affect the dependent variable customer loyalty. Then through the F test can be seen that the variable quality of the product, and significant product design together in customer loyalty. Figures Adjusted R Square of 0.383 indicates that 38.3% variation in customer loyalty could be explained by the two independent variables used in the regression equation. While the remaining 61.7% is explained by other variables outside the two variables used in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the level of tax compliance in Batam city district by using several independent variables such as income levels , quality of service tax authorities and the taxpayer awareness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of income levels, service quality, and taxpayer awareness of the compliance of land and building tax payments.The population in this study was based on data from the KPP Pratama Batam in 2012 as many as 58.595 SPPT propagated by NPWP. Sampling was done by the method Slovin. Number of samples was determined as 397 people. Primary data collection method used is by using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this study is the technique of multiple regression analysis.Based on the results of the analysis carried out it could be concluded that the level of income and quality of service tax authorities do not have a significant positive effect on adherence property tax payments, but the taxpayer awareness variables have a significant positive effect on adherence property tax payments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of products and services to customer satisfaction. In this study, customer satisfaction is the dependent variable. There are two variables that serve as the independent variable is the quality of products and services. The sample used in the study is that consumers. The population used in this study is 60 consumers. While the sample used as many as 60 by using the census as a population of less than 100 people, then it is better researched everything. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, which aims to determine the correlation between the two variables. Hypothesis testing is done by t test and F test and R2 test. Analysis of the data with the help of statistical data processing software SPSS version 20. Based on this study concluded: there is a positive and significant influence between product quality and consumer satisfaction, and no significant positive effect between service and customer satisfaction, as well as a positive and significant influence between product and service quality to customer satisfaction. The variable quality of the product into the variables dominant influence on customer satisfaction is based on the calculation of beta coefficients Standarized analysis has the greatest value. The conclusion from this study is the quality of products and service as important variables that affect customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is recommended that the company pay more attention these two variables so that consumers feel satisfied and achieve the objectives of the company are expected.

Abstract

The purpose of reward, punishment, and motivation of work to simultaneously and partially on the performance employees of PT. Bima Multi Finance Batam branch. This type of research is quantitative research. The population and sample this study were all employees of PT. Bima Multi Finance Batam branch, totaling 35 employees.The results of reward, punishment and work motivation variables have a significant effect on employee performance, on simultaneous test results with sig (0.001) α (0.05) and Fcount Ftable (7.036 2.901). Partial test results reward variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance with a significance value α (0.008 0.05) and tcount 2.846 t table 2.040. Partial test results of the punishment variable have significant negative effect on employee performance with a significance value α (0.001 0.05) and t -3.699 t table 2.040. Results partial of work motivation have a significant positive effect on employee performance with a significance value α (0.015 0.05) and tcount 2.579 t table 2.040.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of leadership style and environmental variables on the performance of employees working at PT. Widi Jasa Ekspress Batam. And see how much influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance. In this research, distributing questionnaires to a total of 37 full-time employees based in PT. Widi Jasa Ekspress Batam. Of the 37 respondents can be grouped by gender and can be divided into two (2) groups: male gender as many as 27 people (62.78%) and female gender as many as 10 people (37.22%). This study uses a quantitative approach and the causal model of survey methods Data were analyzed using the statistical program package for social sciences (SPSS). The results showed significant direct effect between leadership style on employee performance PT. Widi Jasa Ekspress Batam. Improved leadership style will give you better performance and result in a better peagawai. There is a significant direct effect between the work environment to employees performance PT. Widi Jasa Ekspress Batam. From the results of this study are quite significant improvement can be concluded that the two variables are a strong influence on employee performance improvement.
