Indonesian Language Education and Literature is a journal of research publication. The scopes of this research are Indonesian language and literature teaching, either as the first, second, or foreign language. The research can be conducted in elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and / or university. Abstract

It is interesting to study Sumur Tanpa Dasar's drama script as it contains many symbols describing conflicts between the characters and God. This study aimed to describe religious values in the drama script. The study used a descriptive research design. Data was collected through reading and note-taking techniques. Instruments of the study were arranged according to criteria of 3 aspects of religious values; faith, living standards, and attitude. The data was validated by conducting extended observation and increasing the reading routine. The data was analyzed by: grouping into data of religious values; elaborating the data; concluding the data; and displaying the data. This study ended up with a concept that religious values could not be seen from the physical appearance, but more essentially could be seen from attitude and behavior as the manifestation of a pure heart. Religious values in STD drama scripts emerged in 3 aspects; faith, life standard, and attitude aspects.Naskah drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar menarik untuk dikaji karena menampilkan banyak simbol yang menggambarkan pergulatan para tokoh dengan Tuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai religius dalam naskah drama tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pembacaan dan teknik pencatatan. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan kriteria tiga aspek nilai religius, yaitu keimanan, norma kehidupan, dan sikap perilaku. Teknik keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan dan meningkatkan ketekunan pembacaan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: mengelompokkan data nilai religius; menguraikan data; menyimpulkan data; dan menyajikan data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu konsep bahwa nilai religius tidak bisa hanya dilihat dari tampilan fisik saja, tetapi yang lebih esensial adalah kejernihan hati nurani yang mengejawantah melalui tutur dan laku. Nilai religius dalam STD muncul dalam tiga aspek yaitu aspek keimanan, norma kehidupan, dan aspek sikap perilaku.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is research aims to reveal how the representation of superiority and solidarity in conversations occurs. The data of this research is collected through two methods which are, the listening and speaking methods. The listening data uses a basic technique, which is the tapping technique. The advanced technique of the listening method in this research is the “free to listen bound to speak”, partnering and recording technique. Next is the speaking method. It uses face-to-face speaking techniques, recording techniques, and writing techniques. To analyze the data of this research, an equivalent method is used, with another language as the determining instrument. The result of the analysis of the representation of superiority and solidarity in informal conversations of multilingual communities in STKIP Singkawang, West Kalimantan is as follows. The representation of superiority is divided into four parts: greeting words, imperative words, conversational domination, and conversational code usage. Whereas the representation of solidarity shows the usage of greeting words, imperative words, and conversational code usage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana representasi unsur kekuasaan dan solidaritas dalam wacana percakapan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui dua metode, yaitu metode simak dan metode cakap. Metode simak menggunakan teknik dasar, yaitu teknik sadap. Teknik lanjutan dari metode simak dalam penelitian ini adalah simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Selanjutnya, untuk metode cakap menggunakan teknik dasar, yaitu teknik pancing. Teknik lanjutan dari metode cakap, yaitu teknik cakap semuka, teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan dengan alat penentu adalah bahasa lain. Hasil analisis mengenai representasi kekuasaan dan solidaritas pada tuturan informal masyarakat multilingual di STKIP Singkawang Kalimantan Barat adalah sebagai berikut. Representasi kekuasaan terbagi menjadi empat bagian, yaitu penggunaan kata sapaan, penggunaan kata perintah, dominasi percakapan, dan penggunaan kode tutur. Sementara representasi solidaritas ditunjukkan dengan penggunaan kata sapaan, penggunaan kata perintah, dan penggunaan kode tutur.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to describe the meaning of Batik Paseban from Kuningan Regency using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The results show that the meanings found in the Paseban batik motifs include: (1) Sekar Galuh which describes nature conservation; (2) Oyog Mingmang which depicts unity and oneness; (3) Mayang Segara which implies the breadth of the human heart; (4) Adu Manis which describes domestic life; (5) Rereng Pwah Aci which reflects Sundanese women; (6) Geger Sunten which describes self-defense; (7) Réréng Kujang which means keeping a promise; (8) Mayang Cindé which describes character; (9) Sekar Kencana which describes leadership; 10) Ayang-Ayang which implies mutual cooperation; 11) Kadatun or Karatun which is interpreted as a fair and wise leader; and 12) Gagang Sénggang which represents prosperity.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan makna Batik Paseban dari Kabupaten Kuningan dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna yang ditemukan dalam motif batik Paseban di antaranya: (1) Sekar Galuh yang menggambarkan pelestarian alam; (2) Oyog Mingmang yang menggambarkan persatuan dan kesatuan; (3) Mayang Segara yang mengisyaratkan keluasan hati manusia; (4) Adu Manis yang menggambarkan kehidupan rumah tangga; (5) Rereng Pwah Aci yang mencerminkan perempuan Sunda; (6) Geger Sunten yang menggambarkan pertahanan diri; (7) Réréng Kujang yang dimaknai menepati janji; (8) Mayang Cindé yang menggambarkan budi pekerti; (9) Sekar Kencana yang menggambarkan kepemimpinan; 10) Ayang-Ayang yang mengisyaratkan gotong-royong; 11) Kadatun atau Karatun yang dimaknai pemimpin adil dan bijaksana; serta 12) Gagang Sénggang yang menggambarkan kemakmuran.

Abstract

This study describes the shift in character and morals of Bawang Putih and Bawang Merah stories in the Digital Age. Data were collected by reading and listening to stories and recording the required data. The data were validated by triangulation theory and the accuracy of the researchers. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a comparative technique, namely comparing the character and moral messages in traditional stories with characters and moral messages in digital stories. The results showed that (1) the character of Bawang Putih in the old era was honest, kind, polite and obedient to parents, while in the digital era there was a shift that was hypocritical, cunning, and arrogant; (2) the character of Bawang Merah in the old era was greedy, arbitrarily, angry, and arbitrarily at will, while in the digital era there has been a shift in character to be persistent, not greedy, devoted, and respectful; (3) there is no shift in moral messages and old stories and digital stories. The moral message is to keep doing good even though it is not appreciated.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pergeseran watak tokoh dan moral Cerita Bawang Putih dan Bawang Merah pada Era Digital. Data-data dikumpulkan dengan membaca dan menyimak cerita dan mencatat data yang dibutuhkan. Data-data divalidasi dengan triangulasi teori dan kecermatan peneliti. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan teknik komparasi yaitu membandingkan watak dan pesan moral pada cerita tradisional dengan watak dan pesan moral pada cerita digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tokoh Bawang Putih di era lama berwatak jujur, baik hati, sopan dan patuh pada orang tua, sedangkan di era digital mengalami pergeseran yang berwatak munafik, licik, dan sombong; (2) tokoh Bawang Merah di era lama berwatak serakah, semena-mena, pemarah, dan semaunya sendiri, sedangk di era digital mengalami pergeseran berwatak gigih, tidak serakah, berbakti, dan menghormati; (3) tidak ada pergeseran pesan moral dan cerita lama dan cerita digital. Pesan moralnya adalah tetaplah berbuat baik meskipun tidak dihargai

Abstract

Through the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program, various people in the world are interested in learning Indonesian. This study aims to describe the suitability of the BIPA textbook entitled "Friends of Indonesia" to the achievement of learning objectives according to the specified Graduate Competency Standards (SKL). The method used in this research is the qualitative method. This research was conducted in three research steps, namely (1) providing or collecting data, (2) classifying and analyzing data, and (3) presenting the results of data analysis. BIPA teaching materials are devoted to the beginner/basic level (beginner). The results of the study indicate that the book needs to be re-examined regarding the material of the form and meaning of affixes, cultural aspects, and grammatical explanations. Cultural aspects need to be highlighted because language learning is basically a means of diplomacy for the Indonesian people.Melalui program Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA), berbagai masyarakat di dunia mulai berminat dan mempelajari bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian buku ajar BIPA berjudul “Sahabatku Indonesia” terhadap ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran sesuai Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) yang ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga langkah penelitian, yaitu (1) penyediaan atau pengumpulan data, (2) pengklasifikasian dan penganalisisan data, dan (3) penyajian hasil analisis data. bahan ajar BIPA yang dikhususkan untuk tingkat pemula/dasar (beginner). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku perlu dikaji ulang terkait: materi bentuk dan makna imbuhan, aspek kebudayaan, dan penjelasan tata bahasa. Aspek budaya perlu ditonjolkan karena pembelajaran BIPA pada dasarnya adalah sarana diplomasi bagi bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a prototype of poetry teaching materials based on 3D Flipbook multimedia. Through this research, it is hoped that there will be more varied teaching materials as well as learning media than the previous ones. The research design is a procedural descriptive research model, which is guided by the ADDIE model development research procedure initiated by Lee & Owens. Broadly speaking, this development model consists of 4 stages, namely: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development and implementation, and 4) evaluation. Thus, this research is a category of development research. The result of this research is poetry teaching materials in the form of 3D Flipbook multimedia. The results showed that according to 30 respondents, the 3D Flipbook multimedia display aspect was very feasible, the 3D Flipbook multimedia material aspect was feasible, and the 3D Flipbook multimedia learning aspect was very feasible. In conclusion, according to respondents, 3D multimedia flipbooks can be used as a very feasible alternative for learning poetry.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan prototipe bahan ajar Puisi berbasis multimedia 3D Flipbook. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan tersedia bahan ajar sekaligus media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dari yang sebelumnya. Penelitian pengembangan ini berpedoman pada model ADDIE yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: 1) analisis, 2) desain, 3) pengembangan dan implementasi, dan 4) evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar puisi berupa multimedia 3D Flipbook.  Berdasarkan respons dari informan dapat diketahui bahwa aspek tampilan dan pembelajaran multimedia 3D Flipbook sangat layak, serta aspek materi multimedia 3D Flipbook layak. Multimedia 3D Flipbook bisa dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran puisi.
