Abstract

AbstractIslamic primary schools face a dual challenge, i.e. preserving religious pedagogical values while adapting to technology-enhanced learning. This study introduces a culturally based blended-learning model, VIPCALL: Visualization, Interactive, and Personalized Instruction through Collaborative and Assisted Language Learning, for teaching English at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The model was implemented during 17 Field Work Practice sessions from October to November 2024 and involved fourteen pre-service English teachers from seven Islamic elementary schools in West Java. Following a design-based research framework, data collection was made through observation, reflective journals, semi-structured interview sessions, students' questionnaires, and artifact analysis. Results indicate that VIPCALL significantly enhanced the creativity, digital literacy, and integration of Islamic values with interactive English learning of pre-service teachers. Students exhibited increased classroom engagement, improved mastery of vocabulary, and higher confidence to communicate in English. Quizizz, augmented-reality flashcards, activities based on Islamic stories, and games to learn vocabulary led to positive learning outcomes and proved adaptable to low-resource contexts. Overall, VIPCALL offers a scalable, culturally responsive pedagogical model grounded in the evidence that connects tradition and innovation, supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), and offers practical guidance for teacher training and the use of technology in Islamic primary schools.Keywords: VIPCALL, blended learning, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, pre-servis english teaacher, cultural responsive.  AbstrakSekolah dasar Islam menghadapi tantangan ganda, yaitu melestarikan nilai-nilai pedagogis keagamaan sekaligus beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran yang didukung teknologi. Studi ini memperkenalkan model pembelajaran campuran berbasis budaya, VIPCALL—Visualization, Interactive, and Personalized Instruction through Collaborative and Assisted Language Learning—untuk pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Model ini diimplementasikan selama 17 sesi Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PPL) dari Oktober hingga November 2024 dan melibatkan empat belas calon guru Bahasa Inggris dari tujuh sekolah dasar Islam di Jawa Barat. Mengikuti kerangka penelitian berbasis desain, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, jurnal reflektif, sesi wawancara semi-terstruktur, kuesioner siswa, dan analisis artefak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa VIPCALL secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas, literasi digital, dan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris interaktif pada calon guru. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan di kelas, peningkatan penguasaan kosakata, dan kepercayaan diri yang lebih tinggi untuk berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris. Quizizz, kartu flash augmented reality, aktivitas berbasis cerita Islami, dan permainan untuk mempelajari kosakata menghasilkan hasil pembelajaran yang positif dan terbukti dapat diadaptasi ke konteks dengan sumber daya terbatas. Secara keseluruhan, VIPCALL menawarkan model pedagogis yang terukur, responsif secara budaya, dan berlandaskan bukti yang menghubungkan tradisi dan inovasi, mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), serta menawarkan panduan praktis untuk pelatihan guru dan penggunaan teknologi di pendidikan dasar Islam.Kata kunci: VIPCALL, blended learning, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, calon guru bahasa Inggris, pedagogi responsif budaya.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by teachers who have not used digital learning media, resulting in low critical reasoning and learning outcomes. The purpose of the research is to develop a design and test the feasibility and effectiveness of augmented reality-based diorama media to improve critical reasoning dimensions and learning outcomes of Pancasila education. This study uses the research and development method, specifically the ADDIE model, to create augmented reality-based diorama media for Pancasila education aimed at fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School (SDN) Kalibanteng Kidul 01 in Semarang City, Central Java. The study found that the media is highly suitable for education, with validation scores of 93.33% from media experts and 98.21% from material experts. The assessment of critical reasoning scored 95.24%. The t-test results supported the hypothesis, showing significant effectiveness with an N-gain score of 0.7901, classifying it as high. Overall, the study concludes that the augmented reality-based diorama media are effective in improving critical reasoning and learning outcomes related to Pancasila principles for these students in class IV, SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01, Semarang City, Central Java.Keywords: augmented reality, critical reasoning dimension, diorama, learning           outcomes. AbstrakPenelitian ini dimotivasi oleh guru yang belum menggunakan media pembelajaran digital, sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan desain dan menguji kelayakan serta efektivitas media diorama berbasis augmented reality untuk meningkatkan dimensi penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar pendidikan Pancasila. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, khususnya model ADDIE, untuk menciptakan media diorama berbasis augmented reality untuk pendidikan Pancasila yang ditujukan untuk siswa kelas empat di SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01 di Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Studi ini menemukan bahwa media tersebut sangat cocok untuk pendidikan, dengan skor validasi 93,33% dari pakar media dan 98,21% dari pakar materi. Penilaian penalaran kritis mendapat skor 95,24%. Hasil uji-t mendukung hipotesis, menunjukkan efektivitas yang signifikan dengan skor N-gain 0,7901, yang mengklasifikasikannya sebagai tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media diorama berbasis augmented reality efektif dalam meningkatkan penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar terkait prinsip-prinsip Pancasila bagi siswa kelas IV SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah.Kata kunci: augmented reality, dimensi bernalar kritis, diorama, hasil belajar.

Abstract

AbstractMathematics learning in elementary schools still faces challenges related to the limited availability of instructional materials that support active learning and students’ problem-solving skills. Student worksheets commonly used in classrooms tend to be conventional and have not fully integrated problem-based learning approaches, which limits students' engagement and ability to apply mathematical concepts in real-world situations. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a problem-based learning student worksheet for mathematics learning on three-dimensional shapes in third-grade elementary school and to examine its quality. This study employed a research and development approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were students from one third-grade elementary school class. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results indicated that the developed Worksheet were valid based on expert judgments, practical according to positive responses from teachers and students, and effective, as indicated by the improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the worksheets. The results of the study indicate that the developed worksheet has a very high level of validity (4.39), very practical usability (89.83%), and is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in the average score from 63.20 to 81.35. Thus, the problem-based learning Worksheet is suitable for use as instructional material to support meaningful mathematics learning in elementary schools.Keywords: student’s worksheet, problem based learning, ADDIE, three-dimensional shapes, elementary mathematics.AbstrakPembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan terkait dengan keterbatasan ketersediaan bahan ajar yang mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Lembar kerja siswa yang umum digunakan di kelas cenderung konvensional dan belum sepenuhnya mengintegrasikan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah, yang membatasi keterlibatan siswa dan kemampuan untuk menerapkan konsep matematika dalam situasi dunia nyata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah untuk pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun tiga dimensi di kelas tiga sekolah dasar dan untuk menguji kualitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dari satu kelas tiga sekolah dasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, kuesioner tanggapan guru dan siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja yang dikembangkan valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli, praktis menurut tanggapan positif dari guru dan siswa, dan efektif, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan lembar kerja tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi (4,39), kegunaan praktis yang sangat tinggi (89,83%), dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 63,20 menjadi 81,35. Dengan demikian, Lembar Kerja Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah cocok digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika yang bermakna di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: LKPD, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, model ADDIE, bangun ruang, matematika sekolah dasar.
