Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dilema penafsiran ayat pemukulan istri (an-Nisa,4: 34) yang dihadapi kitab dan buku tafsir Nusantara yang mainstream.Dilema redaksi perintah dalam ayat ini dan perlunya pembatasanpemukulan istri, yang sudah dibahas tafsir-tafsir klasik, masih diulangbegitu saja dalam kitab-kitab dan buku-buku tafsir Nusantara tanpa adaperkembangan tafsir yang signifikan. Khusus mengenai ayat pemukulan ini,tafsir Nusantara yang kontemporer sekalipun, masih tidak beranjak daripendekatan yang oleh Abdullah Said (2006b) disebut sebagai tekstualisatau paling jauh semi-tekstualis. Pendekatan yang masih menempatkanayat secara literal sebagai basis wewenang suami mendidik istri dengancara memukul. Tetapi penelitian ini, dengan pendekatan kontekstualis danmoral-etis, menganilisi dilema penafsiran ayat an-Nisa dalam kitab-kitabtafsir sebagai basis hermeneutis untuk tafsir maqashidy yang menolaksegala bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan.

Abstract

Cirebon The research was aimed at describing and analyzing the concept of strategic planning implemented by State Islamic Higher College Cirebon including (1) State Islamic Higher College head›s recognition and understanding of the strategic planning concept, (2) formation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning, (3) implementation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning, and (4) control and evaluation of State Islamic Higher College›s strategic planning. In this qualitative research with phenomenological approach, the researcher became the primary instrument. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display and data conclusion. Data validity was measured by stretching the time of the research, continuous observation, peer checking, suffcient reference, triangulation, and detailed explanation. The result reveals that (1) the Head of State Islamic Higher College Cirebon recognizes and understands the strategic planning concept through the process of analysis of several educational planning literature, from the expert planners, government, higher education, and internal study in State Islamic Higher College Cirebon. (2) The strategic planning is made by a team formed by Head of State Islamic Higher College Cirebon. Its process begins with strategic direction containing basic outlines of educational development strategy further translated by State Islamic Higher College as executor of education whose formula are in the form of master plan of development. (3) The implementation of the strategic planning in State Islamic Higher College begins with the socialization of the vision, mission, goal, and objective to be reached from the higher level to the lower one, like study program and the units. (4) The control and evaluation done by the Head of State Islamic Higher College in monitoring the implementation of the strategic planning is conducted continously both in a monthly meeting, accidentally meeting and every year to plan the budget of each Faculty, Departement, and non structural unit in State Islamic Higher College

Abstract

The topic of this research is “Managerial Skill of the Principals to Increase Teacher›s Performance in Promoting Excellence School (Research in SDIT Sabilul Huda and SDIT Sains al-Farabi)”. Based on the fact that management skill of the principals contributed to teachers performance, and in any way related in increasing the quality of teaching and learning in the school.The purpose of this research is to elaborate the role of the principals in implementing management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, controlling and evaluating of school resources; in order to promote better teaching and learning in the class through teacher›s performance. Research used descriptive qualitative approach, while data collected by interview, observation, and documentation study, focused on the principals, teachers, and school committee.Characteristic of the sample is SDIT Sabilul Huda at the educational area and SDIT Sains al-Farabi at non educational area. Research concluded: (1) the principals in general have implemented school based management (SBM) through implementation principles of management functions: planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating in increasing the goal of teaching and learning in the school. (2) Teachers performance is really good and produced better teaching process. (3) The school committee always encourages and support the school beside to supervise and to facilitate the development of teaching quality. (4) The difference of community participation due to limited of resources and prosperity. (5) Principals created to promote students’ achievement through collaboration with the parent and school committee. Research recommended (1) SDIT Sabilul Huda school must promote to be benchmarking school for academic achievement and education of religious values. (2) SDIT Sains al-Farabi should promote to be excellence school in the sciences faulty world view cannot be separated with religious values. (4) Education office should facilitate financial and school facilities in order to increase better teaching and learning process. (5) Supervisors should be proactive in carrying out their duties. (6) Further research is needed to complete these findings.

Abstract

Akulturasi merupakan sebuah hal yang niscaya di tengah kemajemukanmasyarakat dan budaya yang ada di sekitar kita, akulturasi jugamerupakan aset budaya yang harus dijaga karena di dalamnya terkandungbanyak warisan nilai-nilai luhur dari proses penciptaan budaya itu sendiri.Namun akulturasi hanya akan menjadi saksi bisu saja, manakala tidakada yang peduli menjaga dan melestarikannya. Oleh karena itu penulismencoba menyajikan sebuah potret rangkaian panjang dari sebuah hasilakulturasi budaya besar Cirebon melalui penelitian tentang pengaruhIslam terhadap makna simbolik budaya Keraton-keraton Cirebon.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatifdengan pendekatan fenomenologis, artinya obyek penelitian tidak hanyadidekati pada hal-hal yang empirik saja, tetapi juga mencakup fenomenayang tidak menyimpang dari persepsi, pemikiran, kemauan, dan keyakinansubyek tentang sesuatu diluar subyek, ada sesuatu yang transendentdisamping yang aposteriotik.Untuk menganalisis teks dan kode visualyang akan diteliti, metode semiotik bersifat kualitatif-intepretatif. Dalammetode kualitatif ini pun ditekankan pada pendekatan induksi, ataupendekatan yang mengambil kesimpulan dari fragmen-fragmen unsuruntuk membentuk sebuah kesimpulan. Dari contoh-contoh yang ada akandisimpulkan menjadi sebuah asumsi baru yang menjelaskan fenomenafenomenayang ada.Hasilnya tidak berlebihan jika ada anggapan yang mengatakan bahwa:Cirebon is a big secret, apabila dilihat dengan produk budaya yangdihasilkan. Sunan Gunung Jati merupakan seorang yang sangat pentingdalam penyebaran Islam di Jawa Barat khususnya di Cirebon dansekitarnya, Sunan Gunung Jati memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar bagiperkembangan Islam di tanah Cirebon, ajaran-ajaran yang beliau lakukanmerupakan perpaduan indah dari akulturasi budaya, yakni denganmemadukan pengetahuan lokal local knowledge dengan ajaran Islamyang ia sebarkan, misalnya dengan kesenian-kesenian, seperti wayang,tari topeng, lukiasan-lukisan, dan ritual lainnya. Pola ”islamisasi” demikiandirasakan sangat efektif dalam perkembangan Islam di tanah Cirebondan sekitarnya, ini di buktikan dengan berdirinnya keraton-keratondi Cirebon (Kesepuhan, Kanoman, Kacirebonan, Keraton Keprabonan[Peguron]) dengan berbagai simbol budayanya yang masih terjaga dandilestarikan.
