Abstract

This research aims to analyse the relationships between perceived value, transaction cost and repurchase intention in on-line shopping environment. The respondents were selected purposively from customers who have completed at least a transaction during the last year. The instrument were developed using Likert Scale and analysed using structural equation modelling. In total, as many as 212 respondents completed the questionnaires. From the analysis it was revealed that consumer’s perceived value and repurchase intention have a positive influence in on-line shopping. In addition, it was shown that that information searching cost and moral hazard have negatif influence in perceived value. On the other hand information searching cost and specific asset investment showed negatif influence and positive influence on repurchase intention. Limitations and recommendations for future research are presented at the end of the paper.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role to national development, so it needs to get the attention of government and society. This study aims to assesses the effect of government policy and the involvement of stakeholders (educational institutions, financial institutions, cooperatives, business associations, and NGOs) on the performance of MSMEs. This study uses a quantitative method, regression and correlation analysis. Results show that the government has paid special attention to MSMEs through Law No. 20 of 2008, as well as through the Cooperative and MSMEs service office. Involvement of stakeholders in training, coaching, mentoring, funding, and partnerships have played an important role in improving MSMEs performance. MSMEs hope that the government would amend laws and regulations, such as low taxes, simple bureaucracy and easy administrative procedures, would also assist their competitiveness. MSMEs also needs the sustainable involvement of stakeholders for their empowerment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and employee satisfaction to organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of nurses. The research population were nurses from private general hospital type C in the city of Denpasar with number of respondents were 85 nurses. Sampling technique conducted with a random proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used questionnaires and analyzed with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB, employee satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of knowledge management and cross cultural competence to the organizational adaptability. The research population are small and medium industries in Malang, amounting to 279 103 units (the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs, 2015). Data collection techniques used is proportional random sampling that is a unit sample selected based on certain considerations in order to obtain samples with specific characteristics. The number of respondents in this research determined the 200 respondents who are performing well, as a minimum requirement that is needed in data analysis techniques Structural Equation Model (SEM). Gradually, it will use two kinds of analysis techniques (1) factor analysis, is used to confirm the factors most dominant variable in one group and (2) regression weight in SEM, used for confirmatory examine how much the relationship between variables. Based on the results of data analysis revealed that knowledge management and cross cultural competency significantly effect to the organizational adaptability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja keuangan dan tata kelola perusahaan terhadap penggunaan derivatif pada perusahaan non-keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Penelitian ini menggunakan lima variabel bebas yang berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan derivatif yaitu likuiditas, solvabilitas, profitabilitas, proporsi komisaris independen serta pendidikan komisaris. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan non-keuangan yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2015 yang berjumlah 434 perusahaan. Teknik penentuan sampel yaitu dengan purposive sampling method, sehingga sampel akhir pada penelitian ini adalah 54 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Temuan utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solvabilitas berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan derivatif dan pendidikan komisaris berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan derivatif. Perusahaan non-keuangan di BEI sebaiknya memperhatikan tingkat solvabilitas perusahaan dalam memutuskan penggunaan derivatif sebagai instrumen manajemen risiko.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari nilai premi asuransi jiwa kredit menggunakan konsep aktuaria pada asuransi jiwa berjangka. Objek penelitian adalah premi pada lembaga keuangan mikro yaitu koperasi dan lembaga perkreditan rakyat (LPD). Premi pada konsep aktuaria memperhitungkan mortalita berdasarkan usia dan jenis kelamin, dan tingkat bunga yang ditetapkan yaitu mengacu pada BI rate sebesar 6,5%. Hasil analisis perhitungan menunjukan, semakin tinggi usia debitur berdasarkan perhitungan aktuaria nilai premi akan semakin tinggi, begitupula dengan premi yang berlaku pada LPD Pecatu namun berbeda halnya dengan premi pada KPN PNB. Premi pada KPN PNB hanya berdasarkan jangka waktu pinjaman saja sehingga nilai premi akan sama untuk semua usia. Hasil perhitungan aktuaria menunjukkan semakin tinggi usia, peluang kematian semakin meningkat. Golongan perempuan dianggap mempunyai risiko asuransi yang lebih baik daripada laki-laki.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan analisis kompetensi inti pada bisnis ekowisata hutan bakau di BeeJay Bakau Resort. Analisis VRIO (Valueable, Rare, unImitability, Organize) dipakai dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kompetensi inti yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan. Kompetensi inti diperlukan oleh suatu perusahaan agar mempunyai daya saing dibandingkan dengan pesaingnya. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi inti dari BeeJay Bakau Resort adalah kemampuan mengelola wisata terintegrasi, luas wisata pantai, penginapan pasang surut, bahan baku fresh, teknologi, kedekatan dengan pemasok, skill membangun serta skill memasak dan show Hibaci.

Abstract

Little Bandung is a concept to help Bandung creative SMEs to enter foreign market. This study aims to understand obstacles, motivation, expectation and strategies in preparing Bandung SMEs in international environment. This research used qualitative and quantitative method to collect data by interviewing and conducting focus group discussion toward 15 respondents (owner/manager) from SMEs in creative industries listed in the Book of Bandung creative products as well as spreading questionnaires to obtain deeper understanding. The results show that more than 90% respondents have previous experience in foreign market such as in Singapore and Malaysia. The major reasons to enter foreign market are to fill customers’ orders and develop business. The main barriers that SMEs are concerned with are laws and regulation and perception of no market abroad. This study suggests that Bandung government should create a website as a platform that connect with each of SMEs’ website and conduct market research to analyze Korean market. In addition the clarity of concept of Little Bandung and business management in Korea are needed to prepare it well before penetrating abroad.
