Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of service quality towards customer satisfaction and loyalty in Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud. Respondent of this research are foreign customer with at least 17 years oldwho remain to stay at Tegal Sari Accommodation at least twice in the last 5 years. The number of respondents on this research defined 140 respondents by using sampling technique that is purposive sampling. This research used analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS program. The result of this research showed that service quality has significant impact on satisfaction, satisfaction has significant impact on loyalty, service quality has significant impact on loyalty of Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence macroeconomic performance on industry performance and company financial performance and stock returns the banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange.Theanalysis technique is path analysis. The results of this research are the macroeconomic performance  and company financial performance are not significant positive effect on stock return, while industrial  performanceis not significant negative effect on stock returns. Subsequent findings is that macroeconomic performance has a significant positive effect on industrial performance and no significant positive effect on company financial performance, while industrial performance is not significant negative effect on the company financial performance of banking companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Employee reaction to the organizational change is influenced by several psychological factors such as coping strategies and commitment to change. The purpose of this study was to test the effects of commitmentto changesand task-oriented coping strategies on job satisfaction. Respondents were taken from the total employee of ISI Denpasar, which numbered 139 people. Data was collected using questionnaire and were measured with Likert Scale. Data analysis techniques used univariate analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA). Based on researchfindings and the assessment of respondents’ commitment to changes there are two statements which have the category scores not good, then this should be a concern for the ISI Denpasar business success of the changes made. Employee job satisfaction high eventually will improve the performance of the optimal organization.

Abstract

This study aims is to identifying the differences between using forward contract hedging or currencyswap hedging. Paired Sample T-Test were used to answer the problems and to test the hypothesis. The findings showthat without paying attention to the time value of money, currency swap hedging generated higher income value than forward contract hedging, whereas by paying attention to the time value of money, forwardcontracthedging generated higher income value than currency swap hedging. Significant differences were foundas far as the use of forward contract hedging and currency swap hedging are concerned, both by paying or noattention to the time value of money.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find the relationship of employee on performance indicators to the needs of society’s demands for high-quality services. The use of performance towards work motivationand work performance. Populations of the study are 50 employees at housekeeping department at some small hotels and villa located in Sanur and Kuta. Data obtained from the questionnaire and analysismethodology is using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that employee attitude on performance indicator insignificant related to employee motivation and to work performance, work motivation is related negatively on work performance. The company should use timing of the work speed in process of performance appraisal, and the next researcher is advised to extend the number of samples to several categories of hotels.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of service quality on satisfaction and loyalty on Garuda Indonesia passengers in Denpasar. Respondent of this research at least 17 years old who use the services of Garuda Indonesia at least three times in this year. The number of respondents on this research defined 180 respondents by using sampling technique that is purposive sampling. This research used analysis od Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS program. The result of this research showed that the hypothesisare supported : 1) service quality has positive and significant impact on satisfaction, 2) satisfaction has positive and significant impact on loyalty, 3) service quality has positive and significant impact on loyaltyof Garuda Indonesia in Denpasar.

Abstract

As a tourist destination, the name of Bali is popular having health and wellness tourism area, and in several times was known as one of the best spa destinations. The industry of health and wellness in Bali hasbeen become a part of tourism Department, and it need strategy for development in accordance to face theregional and world competition. This paper tried to describe the development strategy of Bali as a destination of health and Wellness tourism, which covers ten aspects to be need performed. The ten aspects are included; Find Yourself within the Global Marketplace, Position Yourself within the subregion, Identify Your Product and/or Service Offering , Identify Your Target, Prepare to Overcome Potential Barriers, Know What Your Competitors Are Doing, Differentiate Yourself from the Competition, Pursue Opportunities to Partner, Employ a Promotion Strategy.

Abstract

According to the Attitude Theory from Fishbein and Ajzen, consumer intentions to buy is determined by the attitudes and subjective norms. This three variables can be applied to relationships in the political world as to determine the voter choice intent. The study aims is to clarify the relationship between attitudes and subjective norms to voter intentions in elect Partai Demokrat in 2014 legislative elections. Primary data was collected through survey of 120 voters in Denpasar. Sample was determined by purposive sampling with three criteria, respondents live and use their voting rights in Denpasar and minimal education is high school. The results showed voters had unfavorable attitudes, subjective norms and intentions were low. Attitudes and subjective norms has significant and positive effect on intention to choose, subjective norms influence is stronger than the attitude of voters. This result indicate the influence of external (social environment) is stronger than internalfactors. The results can not be generalized beyond the study area and therefore further research is advisable to do research with a broader area and larger sample sizes or add another variables besides attitude and subjective norm, as the popularity and credibility of the party cadres.
