Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) South Bali Area built the Pecatu GIS to level the load, improve serviceand reliability of the electricity distribution system. The transfer of electrical loads to the PecatuGIS changes the configuration of the Pecatu feeder to the Uluwatu feeder and the Labuan Saitfeeder. Changes in load current and network impedance have an impact on short-circuit faultcurrents. The calculation of short-circuit fault current becomes the basis for determining theworking time of the OCR and GFR relays between the recloser and the feeder base PMT. Therelay working time based of the PLN regulation setting protection at 0,1 seconds to eliminatefault currents and IEC 60255 standard take 0,3 seconds to eliminate fault currents. The resultsof the study showed that the time value of PLN's regulation Tms was 0,076 SI and 0,033 SI.The results of the calculation of (Tms) standard IEC 60255 obtained time (Tms) 0,23 SI and0,09 SI. The simulation results of the PLN regulation relay settings and IEC 60255 work wellwith a grading time value of 0,2 – 0,4 seconds.

Abstract

One of the most influential factors on the grounding system is the type of soil. Each soilhas a different resistivity. So, it is necessary to add media in the form of additives, one of whichis a mixture of gypsum (CaSO4`.2H2O) and Calcium Oxide (CaO). The purpose of this researchwas to obtain the percentage of the mixture and the effectiveness between gypsum(CaSO4.2H2O) and calcium oxide (CaO) to obtain the maximum quantity of water and to decidethe impact of a mixture of gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O) with calcium oxide (CaO) as a medium foradditives. to reduce the resistivity of the soil. The method used in this study is an experimentalresearch method. The results of this study showed that the mixture of gypsum and calciumoxide that was effectively used was a mixture with a ratio of 3 kg of gypsum and 1 kg of calciumoxide and the percentage decreased resistance value was 37.93%

Abstract

Thexhighxusexofxlaptops today by individuals will affect the condition of laptop andcausing various damage to the laptop itself. The limited knowledge by user solving the problemson a laptop make user have to consult an expert technician to obtain a solution for existingdamage. On the other hand, many and varied defects of laptops, as well as the hectic tasks thatmust be performed by technicians, causing problems on the side oftechnicians.xUtilizationxofxinformation technologyxcanxbexaxsolutionxtoxovercomexproblemsbetween users and technicians. By building a web-based expert system to get the result ofdamage diagnosis and repair solutions, hopefully it can help users find out what problems ontheir laptop and make it easier for technician to deal with damage. This research using webbasedforward chaining as system method. This system can display the results of a laptopdamage diagnosis that it come from symptoms asked by system and repair solution fromdamage diagnosis. Basedxonxthextestxresultsxusingxblack boxxmethod,xthexsystems hasfunction that according with system design, can run according to orders, andhavexbeenxdeclaredxsuccessful.xBasedxonxthexresultxofxthexSystemxUsabilityScalex(SUS)xtest, this system obtainxscorex82.5, which means that the whole system can beaccepted as functioning well on the web.

Abstract

Bali has the potential for mini-hydro and micro-hydro power plants of 15 MW. There are154 rivers and springs scattered in Bali which are used as irrigation for rice fields. Aan Villagehas an Irrigation Channel, namely Subak Aan Dauh Desa which is sourced from the TukadBubuh, which according to observations has a stable flow every year. This study aims todetermine the potential of MHP in Aan Village, especially in Subak Aan Dauh Village IrrigationChannel, Tukad Bubuh seen from the condition of the research location, water discharge andhead. The methods used in this research are observation, literature study, and interviews. Thedata is then processed to obtain an estimate of the appropriate power generation based on thewater discharge, and head at each location. The results of this study indicate the potential ofMHP in the Subak Aan Dauh Desa irrigation channel, Tukad Bubuh, Aan Village, there are 4research locations with each water discharge of 0,7917 m3/s, 0,7434 m3/s, 0,9612 m3/s, and0,3198 m3/s, having a head of 0.9 m, 1.1 m, 3 m, and 2 m. The estimated power generation withthe assumption that the total efficiency of the 65% is 4.54 kW, 10.42 kW, 18.38 kW, and 4.07kW. Based on the aspect of determining the type of turbine at each research location, locations1 and 2 used the Breast Wheel type waterwheel, while locations 3 and 4 used ArchimedesScrew turbines.

Abstract

The development of technology information is growing rapidly. For example in theeducation world, the purpose of interactive learning media is increasingly felt. With that purpose,an ICT-based learning process (Information Communication Technology) can be developedwhich has the concept of computer and multimedia learning. Computers can be used as asubstitute for books and also multimedia can be used as a substitute for teachers whenexplaining the material. In this study, to give an innovation in the learning models that usequizzes in the learning process, so it would be build a plan of a web socket based of multiplayergame application as a tool for learning process. To making this system, the advantage of websocket is to give a speed in exchanging information on the game system. Finally, the result ofthis application are to produce a web socket based of multiplayer game system design and howweb sockets work when used in a game. The results of the research produce a system designgame multiplayer based websocket. Based on BlackBox Testing and websocket testing. thebasic needs of the game are functionally fulfilled and the use of the system websocket providesa shorter lag time for requests and responses.

Abstract

Disruption of short circuit flow of one ground phase that occurred on the transmissionline 150 kV Nusa Dua-Pesanggaran Substation, causing blackouts to occur in the Nusa DuaSubstation area extending to the surrounding area. The disruption that occurred failed to besecured because the GFR (Ground Fault Relay) relay could not detect the presence of a currentinterference so it failed to work. Assisted relays are needed to secure short circuit flowinterference one phase to help the GFR relay, where the selected relay is the DEF (DirectionalEarth Fault) relay. Installation of auxiliary relays requires planning and relay setting steps toobtain Iset, TMS and trip time. Calculations that have been done get the results of the GFR relayworking at a minimum interference of 1,200A while the DEF relay works at a minimuminterference of 0.521A. The one-phase disruption detected on the 150 kV channel based on thesimulation is below 300A. Def relay will work after the GFR relay does not manage to detectinterference of one phase of the land with a time span of 0 - 0.3 seconds.

Abstract

The role of university in supporting embedded system development and Internet Of Thingsimplementation seen with Embedded System + Lab Course in Electrical Engineering StudyPorgram, Engineering Faculty, Udayana University. Embedded System + Lab Course is a newcourse, so it’s not available yet learning tools in the terms of supporting the course, then it isnecessary to create Embedded System Practicum Module. Embedded System PracticumModule cosists of 4 kinds of experiment. 1st experiment: monitoring servo motor arm positionchange with PIR sensor in Android application. 2nd experiment: monitoring servo motor armposition change with ultrasonic sensor in Android application. 3rd experiment: controlling andmonitoring light bulb with Android application. 4th experiment: controlling and monitoring lightbulb with Telegram Bot. Given the many results of the discussion of experiments and subexperimentsin module 3, in this article, only experimental data 3 data will be discussed.Experimental data in 3rd module showing the success of tool performance and output datasuitability of monitoring and controlling lamp load status on Python Shell, Firebase and Androidapplication. Can be concluded in this research that the success of making 3rd ModuleEmbedded System Practicum(3rd Experiment : Lamp Controlling Through Android Application)has worked well. The overall experimental data can show the success of parsing JSON data onthe Python Shell platform, Firebase database, Android application.

Abstract

The utilization of renewable energy can be a solution to support the supply of electricalenergy, one of which is the use of solar energy with rooftop solar panels. In this study, the roofof the Graha Sewaka Dharma Building was used as a location for the design of rooftop solarpower plants to be able to help with electrical energy needs and support government programsin developing the use of solar energy. The total roof area of Graha Sewaka Dharma Building is1,616.37 m2. This design uses a battery-free On-grid PLTS system using a Solaria PowerXT-400R-PM solar module with a capacity of 400 Wp and a Ginlong Solis S5-GC36K-LV inverterwith a capacity of 36 kW. This design will calculate the capacity of solar modules that can beinstalled and the electrical energy produced with the limitation of the roof area and load profile inthe Graha Sewaka Dharma Building. Based on the results of the study, the capacity of therooftop PLTS installed in the Graha Sewaka Dharma Building is 188.8 kWp with a total of 472solar module units and 6 inverter units. The energy output produced per year (energy yield) is306,2 MWh/year. The investment feasibility study using the methods Net Present Value,Profitability Index, and Discounted Payback Period shows that this design investment isfeasible. Further research is recommended to study the impact of reducing carbon emissions onthe use of the PV grid.

Abstract

Selection of Pseudo Noise (PN) code in CDMA multiple access is needed to overcomeproblems related to interference. In this study, we simulate the large kasami code with the aimof knowing the performance of the large kasami code on flat fading channels and frequencyselective fading channels with variations in the number of multipath components. The receiversystem uses a correlation receiver to correlate the code used by each user. The simulationresults from the performance of the large kasami code through the flat fading channel show thatthe simulation carried out is valid, where the simulation BER value is close to the flat theoreticalBER value. The frequency selective fading channel shows different BER values from variationsin the number of multipath components, where the multipath 60 component produces the worstBER value. Auto correlation code large kasami has a value when the time is not equal to zerowhich can interfere with the desired signal and there is a cross-correlation signal level value thatwill interfere with each other's users.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles in Indonesia started after the issuance ofPresidential Decree 55/2019 about battery-based eletric vehicles. The development of electricvehicles must be supported with the charging infrastructure so users do not experienceproblems in charging the vehicles and therefore more people will switch to electric vehicle. Thispaper discusses the current status of charging infrastructure for electric vehicle in Indonesia.Currently, there are several type of vehicle charging facilites consist of 7.000 public electriccharging station or SPLU, 97 public electric vehicle charging station or SPKLU, 9 public electricvehicle battery exchange station or SPBKLU distributed across Sumatra, Java, Bali, NTB,Sulawsi and Kalimantan. In the case of Bali, there are 166 of SPLU, 5 of SPKLU, and there isno SPBKLU yet. The total accumulative energy consumed through the charging stations in Baliis 169.481 kWh. The figure is low due to lack of information about the charging station and thefact that the number of electric vehicles in Bali is still low.
