Abstract

Gringsing is one of the traditional fabrics that are characteristic of the Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. Gringsing is quite unique because in its manufacture it uses double-ikat techniques, where this technique can only be found in three places in the world, such as Japan, India, and Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. In 2016 Gringsing was certified by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia as a Geographical Indication. This study aims to building a deep learning model to recognize Gringsing motifs and know the performance of the model, so that people can more easily recognize Gringsing motives without having special abilities. The model was built using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the AlexNet architectural model. Tests are conducted to determine the performance of the model such as training time, accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure value. Based on the test results the model built was able to complete 100 epoch training with a time of 19,33 hours, and has an accuracy value of 76%, 74.1% of precision, 72.3% of recall, and 0.73 of F-measure.

Abstract

Load balancing is a routine done by PLN to manage a distribution substation. It is done on Peak Load Time (WBP) only. Initial load measurements and load data on a distribution transformer need to be done for balancing as input of simulation software. The load imbalance in a power distribution system is due to an imbalance in single phase loads in the R, S and T phases in low voltage networks due to the imbalance of the load the current in the neutral transformer arises. The current flowing in the neutral of the transformer causes losses, i.e. losses due to neutral currents in the neutral conductor of transformers and losses due to neutral currents flowing to the ground. In this research load equalization in substation KD 056 was done by making a simulation on the ETAP program by measuring the value of the voltage on the KD 056 substation. The result of load balancing in KD 056 substation with the simulation ETAP program i.e. the voltage drop obtained from the percentage of KD 056 substation after being balanced by voltage drop on phase R which decreased from 7.30% to 1.36% from the 219VA source voltage. Once the KD 056 substation is balanced, it can lower the voltage drop and power losses, thus the system voltage meets the standards of PLN.

Abstract

Peak load on Berawa Feeder is very high exceeding the maximum limit set by PLN which causes Losses and high voltage drop values, so reconfiguration of Repeater via LBS Canggu Club and LBS Damai Residance is carried out, using 3 distribution points. The flow before being reconfigured in the Swamp Feeder was 242A to 180.2A, while the previous Bumbak Feeder was 82A to 144.7A. losses previous deliveries of Bumbak Feederwere 5.2kW to 22.15kW, while previous Berawa Berulang was 117.1kW to 55.11kW, drop the previous Bumbak Feeder voltagewas 102kVA to 24kVA, whereas the previous Swamp Feeder was 775.4kVA to 490.2kVA. Load surges and decreases are caused by changes in load and channel length after being reconfigured.

Abstract

One of the techniques that are used to define the multipath fading it can make is Ortoghonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). System on multicarrier technique is one that has a frequency of orthogonal to each other by using a narrow bandwidth. The weakness of the system on which occurred in mobile channel due to the technique of the time on a channel so that orthogonalitas on a subchannel would pose intercarrier interference and missing (ICI). This research aims to analyze the intercarrier interference (ICI) on the system on MIMO using BPSK and QPSK modulation in fading channel. In terms of values and graph of Bit Error Rate (BER) is proportional to the energy per Bit to noise (Eb/no). This research also aims to find out the influence of frequency on the system on-MIMO offset. The results of the comparison of the system of on-frequency offset value with MIMO that applies fruit 2, 4 and 6 kHz, a frequency of 2 kHz offset produces the most good. On the calculation of the 5 Eb N0 BPSK modulation with dB on the value of the offset frequency of 2 kHz getting the value of the Bit Error Rate 0.0037, for the value of the frequency offset 4 kHz in modulation BPSK BER 0.0058 and get value for value frequency offset of 6 kHz on modulation BPSK get the value of the BER of 0.0114.

Abstract

A non-linear load operation on a power system will generate harmonics. Operating non-linear loads on the simulated electrical system at the Bene Hotel Kuta created a harmonic current which resulted in power losses. In this study, the simulation used ETAP software, and determined the standard of THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) according to IEEE 519-2014, the standard maximum THDI value 5.0% and THDV maximum 5,0%. Compared the simulation results with the specified standards, installation of a high pass active filter, as well as power loss analysis before and after filter installation. THDI value of simulation result did not still meet the standard, with the average being 9.7%. The installation of a high pass active filter could reduce harmonic distortion with an average THDI value of 1.5% and a THDV value of 0.31%. The total power loss prior to installation of active filter was 153,119.8 Watt and after the installation it became 1,511.2 Watt. The decrease in filter values used 70% of the filter's maximum capability to obtain a more efficient filter, but it still met the specified THD standard. Total loss of power on electrical system was 11,885.5W.

Abstract

Quest Hotel Kuta is a place of business engaged in lodging services. To support operational needs, the hotel uses electrical equipment, most of which are inductive. The use of high inductive loads can produce high reactive power, depending on the power factor because the active power obtained from the installed power will be less. Based on the measurement results at Quest Hotel Kuta the measured power factor is 0.70, while PLN charges the excess cost of kVARH to the customer if the average power factor is less than 0.85. To be able to improve the low power factor can be done by using a capacitor bank, the capacitor uses the reactive power required at the inductive load. Changing the power factor in consumers can change. To equalize the power change factor, the capacitor bank is assembled to work multiple steps / multi steps. Multi-step capacitor banks consist of several capacitors with the same or different capacities. Based on the results of measurements before using the fuzzy logic method, the obtained power factor is 0.70 to 0.74 while the capacitors are installed from 12.5 kVAR to 25 kVAR. After using the fuzzy logic controller method the power factor obtained is 0.80 to 0.87 and capacitors using the 13.1 kVAR to 22.4 kVAR method. Whereas the power losses before using the fuzzy logic controller method are 26220.5 watts. After using the fuzzy logic controller method, the power losses incurred were 23214.45 watts.

Abstract

Electricity system planning is very important for electricity providers (PLN). One of them is electricity load forecasting. Backpropagation artificial neural network is one of the best methods used in electricity load forecasting because it can give high accuracy values. In application, backpropagation neural networks often provide poor convergence speed values during the training process. Therefore, it is necessary to do various combinations of training functions to accelerate the convergence of network training. In this study, a backpropagation neural network model was developed with a combination of gradient descent training functions (traingdm, traingda, traingdx). The architecture of this network model uses 24 inputs, 1 hidden layer consisting of 16 neurons and 1 output. This model uses peak load data from Pemecutan Kelod Substation and the number of kWh sold in the South Bali area as an input variable. The results show that the best model of the neural network is using the traingdx training function. In this model, the MSE training is 1.03x10-8 and with a training convergence speed is 4 seconds and MAPE testing is 6.24% with a network accuracy is 93.75%.

Abstract

Planning for the grounding system of KA 3267 substation which has land limitations but has high soil resistance (?). High resistivity soils are required using plate, grid or mesh earthing systems. The purpose of this study was to find out an appropriate earthing system for securing the 3267 KA substation of its equipment. The results of measurements of soil resistance around the 3267 KA distribution substation in Nusa Dua Highland Housing in average >2 ? so that the prisoner soil type ? 251.2 ?-m. Based on the amount of resistance of the soil type, the recommended earthing system is the plate and grid earthing system. From the results of the calculation analysis, that the plate grounding system found 13 plates of 2 m x 1 m installed with a total cost of Rp. 33,800,000. While the earthing of the grid system is obtained a total grid length of 1000 m at a depth of 2 m in parallel to 3 grids at a cost of Rp. 38,690,000. The chosen earthing system is the more economical one, the plate system. To secure KA 3267 distribution substation in Nusa Dua Highland Housing with a resistivity value of 4.594 ? (? 5 ohms) for the type of limestone soils using a plate earthing system in parallel as many as 13 plates.

Abstract

The magnitude of the need for a load, the characteristics of a plant, the max and min limits of generating capacity, as well as the expenditure for fuel for each generating unit economically influences the operation of the plant. The purpose of this research is to obtain the minimum generation cost in a certain loading conditions on the power system by the Lagrange multiplier. Loading data used are data on May 14, 2018 at 07.00 WIB.The final results show that, with a total generation of 2644 MW, the costs must be incurred in the amount of Rp1,180,776,616.22 while the lagrange method used to optimize the plant, the cost of generation is Rp1,160,220,968.97. The amount of savings that can be done for one hour is 07.00 WIB which is Rp. 20,555,647.26. From the studies that have been carried out it can be concluded that the Lagrange method is able to produce a minimum generation cost which is quite good compared to the cost of real generation.

Abstract

Electromagnetic launchers are devices that use electromagnetic forces to launch high-speed projectiles, utilizing accelerated armature shifts along with a pair of conductive rails. Electromagnetic launchers have been studied as high-speed ballistic launchers for various applications such as military weapons to space launches. Based on the development of capacitor technology and the limited development of electromagnetic launchers, especially in the field of launching high-speed projectiles with capacitor supply as the development of electromagnetic weapons technology, research was carried out by making the design of electromagnetic launchers with capacitor supply to produce high-speed projectiles (more than 180m/s based on variations in rifle bullet speed) as the development of electromagnetic weapons technology. The results of the research on the design of electromagnetic launchers with capacitor supply obtained the final projectile velocity value of 200,644 m/s, which consists of three main components namely the rail system, the gas injector, and the supply system.
