Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world that has a variety of folklore from allparts of Indonesia. One of the most famous folklore in Indonesia is the Ramayana story. In thismodern era, people's interest in folklore, especially the younger generation is very alarming. This isbecause the background of the story and the characters in most folklore are considered outdated andno longer relevant to today's life. Based on this problem, the virtual reality game application of theRamayana folklore was made to visualize the Ramayana folklore in a more interesting and dynamicway in order to increase the interest of the community to be more fond of Indonesian folklore.Application development starts from the concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, anddistribution stages. This application was built using C # programming language, Google CardboardSDK, Blender and Unity software. The results obtained are an application that can be used as amedium of entertainment or learning about Ramayana folklore. In this Ramayana folklore gameapplication, users can play 3 stage games that are equipped with game narratives consisting of textand images. Based on the test results using the Black-Box method, the functional application hasbeen able to run as it should. Based on testing the System Usability Scale (SUS), this applicationobtained an average value of 20 respondents at 73.13 with C of SUS’s Grade Scale, which isAcceptable category.

Abstract

In everyday life we often use the name LPG gas even as basic needs. However, in its use itcan pose a threat because of a large enough LPG gas. The occurrence of gas leaks when there areno people around the leak is very difficult to detect especially lethal substances contained in LPG gas.To reduce fires caused by LPG gas leaks, a monitoring system is needed to monitor if a leakoccurs.The prototype method for monitoring room temperature and gas detector leak using theArduino uno 328 mitrocontroller by connecting ESP8266 for wifi connection. ESP8266 will send datawhen the MQ2 sensor reads a gas leak, as well as changes in room temperature that is read by theDHT11 sensor by sending the sensor reading data to Arduino ATmega 328 first to be processed intothe response data of the device and data that will be displayed on the blynk application.The result ofthe achievement of this research is that the measurement of leaky gas using the MQ2 sensor canalready be displayed using the avo meter by obtaining the voltage results. Real gas leakagemeasurements in the field can be displayed on mobile phones through the Blynk application media.The leaked gas graph can be displayed in the Blynk application by getting the minimum andmaximum results. The ESP8266 module must be located in an area or location that has a Wi-finetwork in order to send notifications properly according to the instructions on Arduino ATmega 328.

Abstract

Regional Secretariat Building Denpasar in 2017 experienced a separation in two parts.The separation resulted in the empty room, even though are empty room turned out toconsumption building power in 2018 continued to experience enchancement. The study hasbeen done there is the room that has the intensity of energy consumption which do not comptywith SNI. Solutions that can be given is to replace the type of split standard air conditioner (AC)into a type of low watt air conditioner (AC). Replacement type split standard air conditioner (AC)1,5 PK became type of low watt air conditioner (AC) 1,5 PK can make saving of up 11,62 % orRp 21.068.468,00. Saving electric energy consumption on lighting system can be done byinstalling an automatic switch with time or by using an a light sensor system.

Abstract

Harmonic filter is a power electronics technology to produce specific current components that canbe used to reduce harmonic currents generated by non-linear loads. Non-linear load is usually foundon electronic equipment in which there are semi-conductor components, such as the use of airconditioners, TVs, computers, medical equipment, musical instruments and so forth. Based onpreliminary measurements at Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa, the simulation results of the THD (TotalHarmonic Distortion) current value of 25.17%, which means exceeding the IEEE 159-2014 standardvalue of ? 15.0%. Filters that are placed incorrectly can cause THD harmonics to be suboptimal. Fromthe results of the study it was found that the THDv value at Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa was 4.83%where these conditions met the maximum THDv IEEE 519-2014 standard for voltages ? 69 kV. THDivalue at Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa after the use of active and passive filters is ? 15% and accordingto IEEE Standard 519-2014. The best placement of active filters to reduce power distortion is SDP 2.2because it can reduce power distortion from 20.08% to 3.94%, and the best passive filter placement isMDP 2, because it can reduce power distortion from 20.13 % to 8.52%.

Abstract

Harmonics causes an increase in the current flowing in the neutral wire due to the use of unbalanced non-linear loads. THDisimulation was conducted in this study using MATLAB Simulink software and calculating power losses. Based on themeasurement results it is known that THDi transformer one exceeds the standards set by IEEE 519-2014. THDi simulationresults in the existing conditions show the percentage of phase R of 17.27%, S phase of 16.40%, phase T of 16.24% with acurrent flowing on a neutral wire of 19.64 A. Based on the results of simulations with earth resistance 11? shows thepercentage of THDi in the R phase 15.69%, S phase 14.70%, T phase 9.83% and the current flowing on the neutral wire is1.013 A. When the earth resistance is changed to 8? THDi in the R phase by 15.62%, the phase S 14.67%, T phase 9.81% withcurrent flowing on neutral wire 1,297 A. While the earth resistance is reduced to 4? THIn the R phase 13.57%, S phase 14.51%,T phase 9.80% and the current flowing on the neutral wire is 2,518 A. The power losses in the one-time transformer when theexisting conditions are 8,796 kW, while the earth resistance 11? is 6,079 kW, while the ground resistance 8? is 6,032 kW, andwhen 4? is 5,880 kW.

Abstract

Water energy is energy that comes from water flow which is used to produce electricalenergy by using a flow of water that flows to turn a turbine, then the turbine is connected to agenerator. Micro-hydro power plants are usually built in areas that have the potential for generatingelectricity in a small capacity. The choice of location of a micro hydro power plant is largelydetermined by the potential for water fall or often called a waterfall. Parameters that can be changedto improve turbine efficiency are the shape of the turbine blade, turbine blade volume, nozzle angle,and nozzle position. The method used is the method of observation by observing and testing directlyand the method of literature by studying the literature - literature from several references.Performance characteristics of nest-lie turbines produce higher torque values than triangular turbineblades. Nest-lie turbine produces a torque value of 0.0076 Nm at position 450 nozzle and nozzle angle100. This shows that the nest-lie turbine has characteristics that are better than a triangular turbineblade.

Abstract

Udayana University is education institutions that has implemented an online learningsystem. The system requires fast and reliable access to internet so students can access themefficiently. In order to meet the need for internet access, it requires to provide infrastructure thatis able to keep internet services running smoothly. Network Monitoring requires an applicationcalled Network Monitoring System. There are many network monitoring applications availablefor free, which provides many option for network operators to carry out monitoring functions.LibreNMS is a popular application because LibreNMS has many features, such as: autodiscovering,flexible and diverse alerting system, comfortable user interface with a dashboardthat can be adjusted to user needs and has wide community support. LibreNMS allows networkadministrators to monitor performance on the network so that it is always available. This studyaims to build a network monitoring system on the Sudirman Campus of Udayana Universityusing LibreNMS. The test results show that LibreNMS is able to display traffic conditions andresource usage on every network device that is monitored.

Abstract

Quest Hotel Kuta is a place of business engaged in lodging services. To support operationalneeds, the hotel uses electrical equipment, most of which are inductive. The use of high inductiveloads can produce high reactive power, depending on the power factor because the active powerobtained from the installed power will be less. Based on the measurement results at Quest Hotel Kutathe measured power factor is 0.70, while PLN charges the excess cost of kVARH to the customer ifthe average power factor is less than 0.85. To be able to improve the low power factor can be done byusing a capacitor bank, the capacitor uses the reactive power required at the inductive load. Changingthe power factor in consumers can change. To equalize the power change factor, the capacitor bank isassembled to work multiple steps / multi steps. Multi-step capacitor banks consist of several capacitorswith the same or different capacities. Based on the results of measurements before using the fuzzylogic method, the obtained power factor is 0.70 to 0.74 while the capacitors are installed from 12.5kVAR to 25 kVAR. After using the fuzzy logic controller method the power factor obtained is 0.80 to0.87 and capacitors using the 13.1 kVAR to 22.4 kVAR method. Whereas the power losses beforeusing the fuzzy logic controller method are 26220.5 watts. After using the fuzzy logic controllermethod, the power losses incurred were 23214.45 watts.

Abstract

Karangasem Regency, especially in Kubu Subdistrict, Tianyar Tengah Village, Banjar BukitLambuh, is an area that still lacks clean water, so that villagers still rely on purchasing clean waterthrough tank trucks at high prices. Around Banjar Bukit Lambuh, there is a 20 kWp Central TianyarPLTS which has been abandoned since 2016 due to the absence of regional companies that manageand maintain the PLTS so that some components of the PLTS are damaged. The abandonment of the20 kWp PLTS makes the Bali Provincial Manpower and Energy Department (ESDM) Department planto transfer the function of PLTS as a source of electricity for water pumps that lift water fromreservoirs with a water capacity of 72,000 liters to a 30,000 liter water reservoir which is near thePLTS to meet the water needs of residents in the Middle Tianyar Village Banjar Bukit Lambuh. Theselected water pump type Lorentz PS2-4000 C-SJ3-32 submersible DC with a total head of 108.6meters and a pipe length of 1,640 meters and requires power of 2.96 kW supplied from PLTS 20 kWpTianyar Tengah with a cable length of 1,640 meters and voltage drop of 8,183 volts, so that the pumpcan operate for 7 hours with 4.2 m3 / h water discharge producing 29,400 liters of water that can meetthe water needs of residents of Banjar Bukit Lambuh Village by 23,328 liters per day.

Abstract

The rapid development in the South Kuta region has resulted in an increase in the demand for electricityenergy that must be supplied by the 150 kV Nusa Dua substation. An increase in the amount of load results in anincrease in the load that must be borne by the transformer. To prevent losses due to overload, a load adjustmentsimulation is performed on the transformer at the Nusa Dua Substation. Load flow simulation is done using ETAPsoftware with the subject of the power transformer load along with the load-feeders. The purpose of the simulation isto know the loading conditions and power loss of the Nusa Dua substation system. Furthermore, the transformerload adjustment scenario is designed, then simulated again with ETAP software to determine changes in the loadingconditions and the power loss in the Nusa Dua substation system. Simulation results in existing condition withnormal operation, transformer 1 load is 69,8% and transformer 3 is 71,8% with a total power loss of 14,1%. After 3planning scenarios for transformer load adjustment, scenario 2 is the bestl scenario in short term with the loading ontransformer 1 is 50,4%, transformer 2 is 45,9%, and transformer 3 is 45,1% with total power loss of 9,16%. While forthe long term, scenario 3 is recommended by adding a new transformer unit. Transformer 1 loading is 50,9%,transformer 2 is 45,9%, and transformer 3 is 45,1% with a total power loss of 9,24%.
