Abstract

Nowadays streaming video services have become the main need for internet users. Tokeep the streaming video service awake, an alternative path is needed to avoid network failure.In creating an alternative path, you can use first hop redundancy protocol (FHRP). In FHRPthere are three redundancy protocols including VRRP, HSRP and GLBP. The purpose of thisstudy is to find out better protocol performance, especially by using streaming video services.The method used is to simulate redundancy protocol using GNS-3 software with 3 scenariosthat run including normal network, down network and recovery network. As for testing eachscenario including testing routers with priority, route trace route, link transfer time and quality ofservice (QoS) video streaming. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that GLBPprotocol has better performance with an average link transfer time of 1.51 seconds, delay of8.12 ms, packet loss of 0 % and throughput of 1,248 Mbps. This is because in GLBP protocolthere is a load balancing feature that can split the load equally and utilize resources moreeffectively from each router.

Abstract

The development of technology in this era of globalization has provided many benefitsin human life, one of which is smartphones. In this modern era, looking neat and attractive is adaily necessity for people, especially women. To get beauty care services, people usually haveto look salons and wait their turn. This takes a long time for beauty care service enthusiasts.Based on the existing background, a beauty care service provider application design was builtusing the flutter framework and android operating system with the aim of making it easier forusers to find care and beauty services. In this application there are 3 users, namelyAdministrators who are in charge of controlling Customer and Partner data, Customers as userswho are looking for care and beauty services, and Partners as people who offer care andbeauty services. Based on tests carried out using the Black Box method, the overallfunctionality of the application has been declared successful in accordance with its respectivefunctions and objectives. While the test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodin the application, respondents gave a score with an average value of 73.75 which means thatthe test results have a value above average. It can be concluded that the application can runwell and can be Accepted (Acceptable).

Abstract

Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is a technology to convert solar energy into electricity. RUEN statesthat the potential for solar electricity in Indonesia is estimated at 207.89 GW and it has beendetermined that the national PLTS capacity target in 2025 is 6.5 GW and continues to increaseto 45 GW in 2050. One of the efforts that can be made to achieve this target is to usegovernment buildings as a place to install PLTS. This study was conducted to find out howmuch potential electrical energy is generated on the rooftop PLTS of the North TapanuliRegent's office which has a roof slope of 52.70. It was found that the PLTS of the NorthTapanuli Regent's office has the potential to generate 39.6 kWp of electrical power. Thesimulation shows the energy data produced by the PV system is 45,646 kWh in one year andhas a role in supplying electrical energy up to 52.9%. So the total of the PV system with Gridelectrical energy supplied to the load is 86,233 kWh/year.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs so far is the delay in the presence of the fire departmentat the fire site. So the authors make an early detection tool for forest fires based on the Internetof Things because forest fires occur in very large forests so that supervision from officers is notenough. This study aims to design a forest fire extinguishing system based on ESP8266NodeMCU. The research was conducted by designing a system and making it happen by usinga board and several sensors to obtain data. From the results of the design carried out in thisstudy, the prototype of forest fire detection systems based on NodeMCU ESP8266 andtemperature, fire and smoke sensors has been realized, which can send notifications ontelegram. And the pump can put out the fire. The actual application in the forest still needschanges to the pump construction and the addition of several sensors.

Abstract

Energy demand in Indonesia is increasing, especially in the realization of electricityconsumption which reached 20.18 TWh in July 2020. In fulfilling energy, Indonesia is stillsupported by fossil energy. Indonesia's fossil energy reserves continue to decline, so it isnecessary to increase the non-fossil energy, one of which is wind energy. Wind exhaust fanoutput is waste energy that has the potential to be developed as a micro-scale wind powerplant. The Design and Construction of the Exhaust Fan Wind Energy Harvesting System withthe Effect of the Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Distance (HAWT) of the Exhaust Fan Blade hasbeen done, the test of this study determine the optimal output power of the generator byconsidering the exhaust fan performance. The test results show that the closest distance of 10cm produces maximum wind speed and power, but the optimal placement distance for theturbine designed is 20 cm with an output power of 1.50 Watt and an increase in exhaust fanconsumption power of 0.38, with the power that can be harvested is 1.50-0.38 = 1.12 Watt,greater than the other test distances.

Abstract

The development of Pesanggaran Conventional Substation into the Pesanggaran GasInsulated Switchgear (GIS) as a form of increasing the reliability of the electric power system inBali which led to changes in the protection system configuration on the transmission lineconnecting the GIS Pesanggaran and Nusa Dua Substation. The distance relay that waspreviously functioning as a primary protection was changed to backup protection due to the lackof selectivity of the distance relay in isolate the disruption and as the backup protection if themain protection experiencing a failure. Simulation testing using power system analysis softwareafter determining the value of the distance relay setting and tested with short circuit at 110%and 180% of the transmission line length shows the distance relay has worked according to theP3B JB regulation No. 211/151/P3B/2010 and distance relay can detect disruption in zone 2with a delay time of 0,815 seconds and detect disruption in zone 3 with a delay time of 1,615seconds.

Abstract

Green building is an alternative to anticipate damage to the earth due to development activities. This studyreviews the development of green building inkIndonesia with a systematic literature method. The reviewthat was carried out included regulations, implementation and implementation of green building inIndonesia. The development of government regulations on green buildings requires that every buildingmeet the criteria of a green building. There are 20 buildings that have been certified green building by 2018with the gold to platinum category. Research in the field of green building has also developed with 53scientific publications. From the latest reviews, it is found that the implementation of green building inIndonesia has been carried out in various aspects of the building. In the future, policies and regulations atthe national and regional levels are integrated with each other to implement green buildingcomprehensively in Indonesia.

Abstract

The giving of intravenous fluids to patients is dispense fluids into the veins using aninfusion set with a certain amount and period. Patients who are given intravenous fluids willconstantly be monitored by a nurse manually and regularly. In this study, a monitoring systemand automatic replacement of intravenous fluids drops were designed to make it easier fornurses to monitor and change infusions automatically. The monitoring system is designed totake advantage of the Telegram communication application integrated with the NodeMCUESP8266. In contrast, the automatic replacement system utilizes an infrared sensor to detectfluid availability. Based on the research results, the infrared sensor will have a logic '1' if infusionfluid is more than 50ml, and the sensor will have a logic '0' if infusion fluid is less than 50ml. Thefastest system response to send sensor data to Telegram Bot reached 01.10 seconds, while thefastest system response to receive orders from Telegram Bot reached 05.70 seconds.

Abstract

PLTMH is a type of generator that utilizes water resources for its workings. Utilization ofwater resources is still minimally carried out by the community, especially by students ofElectrical Engineering at Udayana University because it must be implemented directly on alarge enough river flow so that it is difficult to study. So, in this study, a prototype modeling ofMHP using a Kaplan turbine was designed which is useful for the learning process before beingimplemented directly in the river. The Kaplan turbine prototype is designed with a head of 2 m,an input pipe of 2xdimxand a discharge of 12 L/s, has a total of 30 guide blades,xwith an openingangle of 30o, with a lengthxofx0.05 meters, a widthxof 0.045 meters, an inside diameterxofx0.33metersxandxan outerxdiameterxofx0.42 meters. Thisxprototype has a total of 5 driving blades,withxanxouter diameterxofx0.16xmeters, a shaft neck diameterxof 0.06 meters, xaxrunner widthofx0.05 meters. The resultsxofxthe Kaplan turbine prototype test are able to produce axpowerxof3.64xwatts, a torquexofx0.231xNm, andxanxefficiencyxof 1.54%.

Abstract

The design of the solar power plant (PLTS) at the Antosari village wantilan is a research thataims to realize the use of new and renewable energy which is one of the solutions inovercoming electricity needs, saving fossil energy and assisting in the realization of GovernorRegulation 45/2019 concerning Bali Clean Energy. This study carried out the design andcalculations in the design of the PLTS Atap Antosari Village. The PLTS design is carried out bypaying attention to and taking into account the tilt angle of the Helioscope Software, designingthe placement of the solar panel modules, designing the inverter, configuring the circuit, takinginto account the number of batteries used, selecting the Battery Control Unit and calculating theprofit on investment. The results of the simulation on the helioscope software are the number ofsolar modules as many as 72 units, installed at an angle of 14.95o which can supply a batterywith a capacity of 500Ah. The simulation also determines the use of an inverter that uses a 4kWinverter which produces a power of 3.6 kWp. The ability of the installed solar module to flow acurrent of 97.56A so that the full charge condition is obtained for 6 hours. Research initialcapital of Rp. 201,400,000 with a return of Rp. 1,325,376, - per month, so that the financing forinstalling PLTS will return in 2034 (13 years)
