Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode drill dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar materi hukum bacaan mad pada siswa kelas V SD Secang 3 Kecamatan Secang Kabupaten Magelang tahun 2012. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitan Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitan adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 42 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan observasi. Test analisa data menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif sekaligus kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan langkah-langkah (a) menyusun rencana, (b) pelaksanaan tindakan, (c) observasi dan (d) refleksi. Akhir refleksi pada siklus ketiga menunjukkan bahwa tujuan telah tercapai sehingga penelitian dihentikan pada siklus tiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode drill dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada materi hukum mad pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Secang 3 Kecamatan Secang Kabupaten Magelang tahun 2012. Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan ketuntasan 74 % dengan rata-rata nilai 68,6, siklus II dengan ketuntasan 93 % dengan rata-rata nilai 80, dan siklus III dengan ketuntasan 100 % dengan rata-rata nilai 85. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk guru sebagai masukan agar dapat memperbaiki metode pembelajaran sehingga prestasi belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Secang 3 Kecamatan Secang Kabupaten Magelang tahun 2012 dapat meningkat. This study aims to determine whether the drill method can improve learning achievement of mad materials in class V SD Secang 3 of Magelang regency in 2012 or not. It is a Classroom Action Research. The research subjects are all students of class V. The data collects by documentation and observation. The data analysis uses both quantitative and qualitative. This research was conducted in three cycles with the steps (a) plan, (b) action, (c) observation and (d) reflection. The end of the reflection in the third cycle indicates that the objective has been achieved so that the study was stopped in three cycles. The results showed that the drill method can improve learning achievement in materials of mad at State Elementary School Secang 3 students. The increase in student achievement in the first cycle with completeness 74% with an average score of 68.6, the second cycle with completeness 93% with an average score of 80, and the third cycle with the completeness of 100% with an average score of 85. This research is helpful for teachers as input in order to improve teaching methods so class V student achievement of Secang 3 Public Elementary School can be improved. The purpose of this research is to understand the role of career women in teaching worship education to their children amid their work. It is a descriptive qualitative research which is conducted in January-March 2017. Career women who have school-aged children in Jatiroto village are the subjects in this study, while their husbands, children and neighbors pose as the informants. The data are collected by interview, observation and documentation. Triangulation is used to validate the data. They are analysed with interactive models include four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results show that the roles of career women (mothers) toward children’s whorship education are a) the educational backgrounds of career women consist of the degrees of Islamic High School (Madrasah Aliyah) and Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) so that they can educate children in daily basis worship despite having dual roles, b) career women show a good attitude and become models in any aspects especially worship, c) the environment created by the career women in their family is very comfortable and suitable with the needs of children. Keywords: roles of career women, children’s worship education AbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran wanita karier dalam memberikan pendidikan ibadah pada anak-anaknya ditengah-tengah kesibukannya berkarier. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Januari-Maret 2017. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita karier yang memiliki anak usia sekolah dasar yang ada di dusun Jatiroto, sedangkan untuk informannya adalah suami, anak dan tetangga. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Trianggulasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dengan model interaktif meliputi empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa menunjukkan bahwa Peran wanita karier (ibu) terhadap pendidikan ibadah anak adalah a) latar belakang pendidikan wanita karier (ibu) terdiri dari Lulusan Madrasah Aliyah dan Pesantren sehingga dapat mendidik anak dalam hal ibadah sehari-hari walaupun memiliki peran ganda, b) wanita karier (ibu) menunjukkan sikap yang baik dan dapat menjadi teladan dalam segala hal khususnya dalam hal ibadah sehingga bisa menjadi model bagi anak, c) lingkungan yang diciptakan wanita karier (ibu) dalam keluarga sangat nyaman dan cocok dengan kebutuhan anak. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang evektivitas penilaian sertifikasi guru kelas MI melalui kegiatan PLPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan mengkaji referensi yang bersumber dari perpustakaan. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan beberapa kesimpulan kesimpulan: pertama, proses dan intstrumen penilaian sertifikasi guru kelas MI melalui PLPG pada guru kelas MI se-kecamatan Mejobo kabupaten Kudus yang telah mengikuti PLPG sudah terlaksanakan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah; kedua, pandangan guru kelas MI se-kecamatan Mejobo kabupaten Kudus yang telah mengikuti PLPG terhadap penilaian sertifikasi guru kelas MI melalui PLPG sudah baik, karena banyak guru yang pada awal datangnya terlihat pasif kemudian menjadi aktif dan kreatif; ketiga, ketercapaian penilaian sertifikasi guru melalui kegiatan PLPG dapat dilihat melalui meningkatnya motivasi para guru dalam mengajar, membangun mental positif para guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, meningkatkan kompetensi guru, guru terdidik melaksanakan tugas dengan sepenuh hati, dan guru dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran aktif; keempat, kurang efektifnya penilaian sertifikasi guru melalui kegiatan PLPG di LPTK Rayon 232 IAIN terkendala pada sisi teknis waktu pelaksanaan PLPG yang singkat sehingga berimbas pada kedalaman pemahaman guru terhadap materi yang diberikan.This paper aims to describe the effectiveness of assessment of MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah: Indonesian State Islamic Primary School) teacher certification through PLPG activities. This research uses descriptive analytical method to assess references from the library. In this study, as the first conclusion, the processes and the assessment instrument of certification in PLPG LPTK Rayon 232 IAIN Surakarta (additional quota of 2013) for the teachers of District Mejobo, Kudus has properly fulfilled the standard in accordance with the regulations and operational guidelines as directed by the government. Secondly, from the teachers’ point of view, the assessment of MI teachers certification through PLPG is already good because many teachers look passive initially then becomes active and creative at last. Thirdly, the assessment of teacher achievement, to be certified through PLPG activities, basically aims to increase the motivation of teachers in their teaching implementation. Fourthly, the ineffective assessment of teacher certification through PLPG is due to the “short time” (the length of time) allotted for the PLPG which brings about the effect on the deepness of the teachers' understanding on the materials supplied.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI), pelaksanaannya, juga faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pembelajaran akhlak dari mahasiswa PGMI. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter mahasiswa PGMI. Subyek penelitian ini adalah dosen mata kuliah akhlak dan mahasiswa jurusan PGMI semester empat STAIN Salatiga. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter mahassiswa PGMI dalam kondisi baik. Hanya rasa ingin tahu dan indikator peduli lingkungan yang masih kurang. Strategi implementasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan contoh atau keteladanan, perumpamaan, pembiasaan dan saran atau peringatan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dan pendukung yang berasal dari faktor internal individu siswa dan keluarga serta faktor-faktor lain yang berkontribusi. Sedangkan faktor eksternal adalah metode pembelajaran dan media serta faktor lingkungan kampus dan komunitas. Kampus dan faktor lingkungan masyarakat menjadi kendala untuk melaksanakan pendidikan karakter mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI). The study is aimed to determine the students’ character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department, the implementation also the factors inhibiting and supporting the implementation of character education in the learning morals (akhlak) of PGMI students. This study focuses on the implementation of students’ character education in Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department. The subjects of this research are the lecturers of moral (akhlak) subject and the fourths semester students of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department STAIN Salatiga. The data is collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings show that character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department students have been in a good condition. The only curiosity and care to environment indicators that still less. The implementation strategy in this research is by example, parable, habituation and advice or warning. While the inhibiting and supporting factors are derived from the internal factors of individual students and families as well as the contributing factors. While the external factors are instructional methods and media as well as campus and community environmental factors. Campus and community environmental factors become the obstacle to implement the character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department students. Penelitian ini berupaya menggali lebih dalam dalam tentang relasi masyarakat dengan pondok pesantren dan peran pondok pesantren dalam pembinaan keberagamaan remaja. Pertanyaan utama yang ingin dijawab melalui penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perilaku keberagamaan remaja?, bagaimana peran pondok pesantren dalam meningkatkan perilaku keberagamaan?, apa problematika pembinaan keberagamaan remaja? Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan November 2013 di pondok pesantren al-Hasan. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas, pengasuh, pengurus dan santri serta remaja sekitar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Setelah melakukan analisis, di peroleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa keberagamaan remaja yang beragam dan agak minim. Peran pondok yang dijalankan sebagai fasilitator, mobilisasi, sumber daya manusia, agent of development dan agen of excellence kurang berjalan maksimal. Pembinaan yang dilakukan kurang berjalan maksimal karena di pengaruhi berbagai faktor salah satunya kurang komunikasi antara remaja dengan pondok pesantren. This study seeks to dig deep inside of people's relationships with the boarding school and the role of religious boarding school in coaching teenagers. The main question to be answered through this research is how the behavior of adolescent religious boarding school ?, what are the roles of boarding school in increasing the religious behavior?, what are the problems of fostering teenagers religiosity? It is a qualitative research. This study was conducted from November 2013 in the Al-Hasan boarding school. Respondents in this study consisted of caregivers, administrators and students as well as the teen around. Data collection techniques used in this research is interview and observation. The results show that religious teens are varied and somewhat lack. The role of the boarding school as a facilitator, mobilization, human resources, an agent of development and agents of excellence are not running optimally. Coaching is in less effect since it was influenced by many factors, one of which is less communication between adolescents with boarding school.

Self-control is a form of mental condition that affects the formation of a positive and productive behavior and determines the harmonious relationship to others. Recent deviant behavior, delinquency, promiscuity and the failure of a person’s life is strongly influenced by low self-control. The formation of self-control, at once, is influenced by cultural values that implied in parenting styles and learning outcomes of the behavior of those around him or her.Self-control is manifested in the form of empathy, tolerance and discipline that all motivated by the cultural establishment. Every culture has certain values considered valuable or valued. Javanese culture that values harmony with the environment, more appreciative to the collectivity than the personal self-interest, will form a better self-control. Similarly, the Javanese self-image as a cool, sincere in acceptance, patient and courteous person would lead one to try to control him or herself.Meanwhile, the Batak and Madurese society living in mountainous and rural areas with severe natural conditions requires a high spirit in order to conquer nature. Only tough, persistent and daring aggressive people can survive and succeed in life. Behaviors that are too impatient, calm and shy viewed as a personality in the weak tender, which cannot be used to subdue the ferocity of nature. This cultural background is the initial of why Batak and Madura people raise as more spontaneous, expressive, courageous and aggressive tended.

Kecerdasan emosi adalah sebuah istilah umum, akan tetapi jika dikaji lebih dalam dan dipelajari isinya sebenarnya bukanlah hal baru. Dalam pengajaran Islam sendiri sudah termaktub dalam pendidikan seperti kesadaran diri (QS. Az Zumara: 15), pengendalian diri (QS. Al Hadid: 23), ketekunan, antusiame, motivasi diri (QS. Thaaha: 67-68 ), empati kepada sesama (QS. An Nur: 2), dan kemampuan sosial (QS. Al Hujurat: 13). Inti yang ingin didapatkan adalah bagaimana seseorang itu mengetahui, menguasai, dan mengontrol emosi yang biasanya merujuk kepada perilaku kedewasaan seseorang yang biasanya disebut kecerdasan emosi. Kaitan konsep kecerdasan emosi dan konsep pendidikan islam telah terlihat pada level kaitan kontrol diri dan relasi sosial antar manusia. Akan tetapi tidak bisa dipunkiri bahwa konsep kecerdasan emosi memiliki beberapa kekurangan dalam kaitannya dengan perkembangan dan peningkatan nilai penghambaan kepada Allah Emotional intelligence is indeed a relative term but when examined more deeply and study the actual contents are not considered new. In the Islamic teaching itself are included in the development of Islamic education such as self-awareness (QS. Az Zumara: 15), self-control (QS. Al Hadid: 23), perseverance, enthusiasm, motivation to self (QS. Thaaha: 67-68 ), empathy toward others (QS. An Nur: 2), and social skills (QS. Al Hujurat: 13). The procession in essence is resulted to how a person will know, master and control emotions all of which are often referred to maturity attitude of person namely emotional intelligence. The linkage concept of emotional intelligence to the concept of Islamic education has been seen at the level of the relationship of self (self-control) and social relations between human (horizontal). But it cannot deny that the concept of emotional intelligence has some shortcomings on several matters relating to the development and increase the value of devotion to God Almighty. The concept of mathematics learning which is integrated with Islamic character education is still limited; this is one of logical reasons why this research is conducted. The basic motivation of carrying out this research is to describe a concept of mathematics learning which is contextualized with Islamic character education. This research aims at describing concept of mathematics learning which is integrated with Islamic character education. This research uses a qualitative approach by emphasizing its analysis on the comparative inference process as well as on phenomena relationship dynamics observed by using scientific logic. Qualitative research is an approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written words from observed people that are not written in terms used in quantitative research. Research method used in this study is case study in which the researcher is trying to find out how the process of strengthening Islamic character through mathematics learning. This research was carried out at MA Nurul Ummah Kotagede Yogyakarta which has innovatively implemented mathematics learning using various methods through interactive learning multimedia which is integrated with strengthening Islamic character. Research finding showed that strengthening Islamic character through mathematics learning at MA Nurul Ummah is integrated into several aspects, namely learning methods, learning materials, and all aspect directly related to learning process in the classroom including putting statement of honesty on the answer sheet and giving reward and punishment to students.

Keaktifan mengikuti organisasi merupakan intensitas mengikuti kegiatan yang diadakan sebuah organisasi. Organisasi JQH adalah salah satu unit kegiatan mahasiswa yang bergerak di bidang baca tulis dan hafalan al-Qur’an. Mahasiswa STAIN Salatiga umumnya menganggap JQH didirikan bagi mereka yang berbakat di bidang seni, baca tulis dan hafalan al-Qur’an saja, sehingga JQH seringkali dipandang memiliki strata tertinggi dibandingkan dengan UKM dan Lembaga Khusus lainnya. Padahal banyak kegiatan yang dilakukan JQH dapat meningkatkan religiusitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mencoba mengkaji seberapa besar intensitas mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang diadakan organisasi dalam hal ini keaktifan mahasiswa mengikuti organisasi JQH dengan perilaku keberagamaan mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Setelah dilakukan penelitian secara sistematik di lokasi penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keaktifan mengikuti organisasi JQH dengan sikap keberagamaan mahasiswa PAI STAIN Salatiga angkatan tahun 2010 dan 2011 terlihat dari hasil analisis statistik bahwa rxy hitung (0,607) rxy tabel (0,361) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan N= 30. Being active in organization is following the intensity of the activities held in an organization. Jami’yatul Qurro’ wal Huffadz (JQH) is one unit of student activity engaged in reading - writing and recitation of the Qur'an. Students generally consider JQH STAIN Salatiga established for those who are gifted in the arts, literacy and memorization of the Qur'an only, so JQH often seen as having the highest strata compared with another students activities. Though many of the activities carried out by JQH can improve student religiosity. This study tried to assess how much the intensity in following the activities held in this organization, i.e. active students, attend JQH organizations with religious behavior of students. The data obtained using questionnaires, observation and documentation. After doing research in a systematic on-site research is that there is a significant correlation between follows the organization activity of JQH with the attitude of Islamic religious (PAI) students of STAIN Salatiga in 2010 and 2011. It is shown by the results from the statistical analysis that rxy arithmetic (0.607) r xy table (0.361) on significance level of 5% with N = 30. Kata Kunci: organisasi, keberagamaan, JQH
