Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan manajemen personalia sekolah di salah satu sekolah menengah atas terkemuka di Jombang, yaitu SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang yang berada di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum. SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang adalah salah satu sekolah yang relevan dengan persoalan manajemen personalia. Dengan latar belakang pesantren, maka kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT tentu tidak lepas dari warna-warni dunia pesantren. Ini bisa dianggap sebagai pengembangan kurikulum nasional khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Dua warna yang berbeda namun bisa disejajarkan bersama inilah yang menjadi ciri khas yang unik dan bisa dibilang tidak terdapat pada sekolah lain.  Dari latar belakang tersebut peneliti bermaksud untuk melakukan sebuah kajian dan penelitian yang terkait dengan bagaimana manajemen personalia yang ada di SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang Jawa Timur Indonesia.Abstract: This article discusses implementation of school personnel management in one of the best high schools in Jombang, namely SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang located inside the Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang is one of the schools that are relevant to the issue of personnel management. Because of it’s pesantren (Islamic boarding school) background, the curriculum applied in SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang is not separated from the pesantren world. This can be considered as a national curriculum development, especially on the subjects of Islamic education. Two different colors can be lumped together. It is the characteristic of the SMA Darul Ulum 2 BTTP Jombang that may not be found in other reguler schools. Thus, the researcher intend to conduct research related to how is the implementation of personnel management at SMA Darul Ulum 2 BPPT Jombang located inside Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang, East Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline on teacher performance. After testing, it is concluded that motivation, competence, leadership, work environment have a significant effect on teacher performance. While the work discipline has no significant effect on teacher performance. It is simultaneously known that there is a significant influence between motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline collectively on teacher performance. Based on statistical test, adjusted R square (R2) is 0,736 or 73,6% indicating that 73,6% change of teacher performance variable can be explained by motivation, competence, leadership, work environment and work discipline, while the rest 26,4% explained by other variables outside the model. The result of 0.736 shows the correlation between the independent variables simultaneously to the employee performance variable has a strong correlation. While in each independent variable affect the performance of teachers are as follows: Y = 1.616 + 0.463 X1 + 0.352 X2 + 0.373 X3 + 0.635 X4 + 0.250 X5, meaning constants. Based on T test, it is found that for competence and performance variables have no effect on teacher performance, and other variables have an effect. For F test obtained the result that together independent variable influence on teacher performance at SMK NU Mojoagung Superior Jombang.

Abstract

Leadership is an attempt to influence others to participate in achieving educational goals. Education requires the headmaster’s efforts to improve competitiveness and have a strategy to improve competitiveness. It is carried out by means of making a strategic plan of work in developing madrasah to improve competitiveness, good administration and giving authority and responsibility to educators in accordance with the prevailing rules, the application of teacher discipline, educational staff and students, improving the quality of human resources (teachers and educational personnel), increasing the motivation of educators and educational staff, establishing good relationships with local communities, involving local communities in madrasah activities and applying student-based management. This study aims: to formulate the definition of educational leadership; know the leadership of education at Madrasah Aliyah Kampar Timur; know the strategy of education leadership in Madrasah Aliyah Kampar Timur in an effort to improve competitiveness.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam sejarah hidupnya, praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial Kiai Sholeh sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal. Pertama, atas perintah ayahanda dengan pesan seperti berikut: “sak temene dek pasar, dek masjid, dek dalan, kabeh iku dulurmu (sesungguhnya baik di pasar, di masjid, maupun di jalanan, di seluruh tempat itu ada saudaramu).” Kedua, penerapan teori Abraham, yakni mencontoh perilaku ayahanda KH M Bahruddin Kalam (almarhum) dan juga perilaku kakek KH M Kalam (almarhum). Ketiga, praktik dari rukun Tarekat Naqshabandiyah pada poin kelima dan keenam, yakni “ambugusi kabeh konco, cilik gede, lanang wadon, enom tuo, lan ambagusi kabeh makhluk (bergaul secara baik dengan semua teman, baik kecil maupun besar, laki-laki maupun perempuan, muda maupun tua, dan bergaul secara baik dengan semua makhluk).” Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial KH M Sholeh Bahruddin dengan model studi kasus, pendekatan yang dipakai adalah expose facto. Data diambil melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa praktik pemikiran inklusif-sosial KH.. M. Sholeh Bahruddin sebenarnya mempertemukan misi perintah masing-masing agama (Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Budha dan Konghucu) untuk membangun perdamaian, keamanan dan memelihara kasih sayang bersama-sama dan meminimalisir terjadinya konflik agama.Abstract: In the history of his life, the practice of inclusive social thought by Kiai Sholeh greatly influenced by several things. First, on the orders of his father with the following message: “In the markets, in the mosques, as well as on the streets, all over the places there are your brothers.” Secondly, the application of Abraham’s theory, which was practiced by KH M Bahruddin Kalam, the father (deceased) of Kiai Sholeh, as well as KH M Kalam, the grandfather (deceased) of Kiai Sholeh. Third, the practice of the Naqshabandi pillars that say: “being good with all friends, both small and great, both men and women, young and old, and being good with all creatures). This study focuses on the practice of inclusive social thought of KH M Sholeh Bahruddin, and the approach used in this study is expose-facto. The data retrieved through observation, interviews and documentation. The study concluded that the practice of inclusive social thought of KH M Sholeh Bahruddin actually tries to unite each mission commanded by religions (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism and Confucianism) that establish peace and security, as well as maintain affection together and minimize religious conflicts.

Abstract

The study of this study attempts to reveal the achievement motivation, which is a genuine effort from a person to achieve a goal, whether he likes it or not likes to try to make it to be liked. With the motivation can also be an encouragement for students to play an active role in the learning process, so that students who have high motivation then can easily capture the material presented by the teacher, thus will affect the achievement in learning. Motivation is every activity undertaken by someone who is driven by a power from within a person, and a strong motivation to make someone able to work extra hard to achieve goals. Students who do not have the motivation to learn hard to do learning activities. This research is fruitful, that the study; the varying socioeconomic status of parents affects the students learning motivation differently. This shows a significant influence between the socioeconomic status of parents and achievement motivation on student achievement.

Abstract

Madrasasah adalah salah satu wadah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang dikembangkan dan dituntut menawarkan program-programnya secara cerdas dan bermutu berdasarkan tuntutan zaman dan globalisasi yang semakin terbuka, sehingga keberadaan madrasah dapat menjadi fungsional dalam menjawab realitas keseharian, baik dalam konteks mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan khususnya bidang agama, menciptakan lapangan kerja atau dalam upaya membina sikap hidup yang kritis dinamis dan mandiri. Agak disesalkan, sistem pendidikan madrasah terbelit aktivitas rutin yang kurang cermat, ditandai dengan praktek pendidikan formal yang kurang menumbuhkan kreativitas, inovasi dan tanggung jawab, bahkan cenderung mananamkan sifat ketergantungan. Sedangkan kemandirian, kepekaan dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik kurang digali.Madrasah is one of the best places to improve the quality of education that is developed and demanded to offer good programs based on the development of modern times and globalization, so the existence of madrasah has a real function in facing the challenges of modern times, both in the context of science, technology and religion; can also create jobs and build a critical and independent attitude. Somewhat regrettably, the educational system of madrasah is tarnished by poorly routine activities, such as formal education practices that do not develop creativity, innovation and responsibility, and even tend to develop a dependency character. Independence, sensitivity and social awareness of the students are not well developed.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi saat ini menjadi kebutuhan pokok masyarakat dalam pendidikan, namun tidak banyak perguruan tinggi yang bisa memberi pendidikan plus bagi mahasiswanya. Perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren banyak dilirik masyarakat, namun keraguan masyarakat akan perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren masih menghantui benak mereka. Dengan pertanyaan apakah perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren mampu memberi pelayanan yang baik kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan bisakah memberi nilai-nilai keislaman sebagai ruh dari pesantren itu sendiri, penelitian ini dilakukan, Penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi dan interview. Untuk menuju kepada kesimpulan yang diharapkan, penulis menjelaskan landasan teori yang berkenaan dengan konsep inovasi manajemen perguruan tinggi dalam pesantren serta bagaimana implementasinya, kemudian dipadukan dengan hasil data yang diperoleh untuk merumuskan kesimpulan yang akurat. Dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (Unipdu) telah melakuan inovasi dan mengimplementasikan manajemen perguruan tinggi secara umum. Secara umum Unipdu menjadi perguruan tinggi alternatif masyarakat dengan indikator mahasiswa setiap tahunnya semakin meningkat dan output-nya banyak berkiprah ditengah-tengah masyarakat.Abstract: The college is currently one of the main needs in education, but not many universities can provide proper education for students. Higher education in the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) is often ogled by the society, but they are often still in doubt of colleges quality in the pesantren. Set out from the question of whether higher education at the pesantren is able to provide good service to the public in accordance with society needs, and able to provide the values of Islam as pesantren spirit itself, this field research conducted by qualitative methods is necessary. To collect data, the researcher uses documentation, observation and interviews. To achieve the expected conclusion, the researcher describes the theoretical basis of the concept of innovation management in the pesantren and colleges as well as it’s implementation, then combined with the results of the data obtained in order to achieve an accurate conclusion. In this study, the researcher concluded that the High Pesantren University of Darul Ulum (Unipdu) has been innovating and applying the college management. Unipdu into college alternatives characterized by an increased number of students annually. In addition, the graduates of Unipdu also active in the society.

Abstract

To face the flow of globalization, it is proper for Islamic education to assimilate Western modern science and technology. This is one way to pursue the backwardness of Muslims from western civilization. However, if the assimilation process is meticulously not performed it will have an impact on the attitude of following everything that comes from the West. This is what I call the process of materialistic westernization. Modernization and globalization can influence people's attitudes in both positive and negative forms. Among these are open-minded, more dynamic, unfettered old things that are conservative, and develop an anticipatory and selective attitude in judging things that will happen, or are happening.

Abstract

In its operation,Narotama University internalizes this value to each membersin the organization, especially the studentsandinvolves them in the development of the value itself, to increase their sense of belonging to the university.Internalization of the value could be a major competitive edge in supporting students attain their maximum learning outcomes. Narotama Universitydevelop a model of value internalization for the aforementionedpupose that are : mappingstudent’s basic character and education assesment, directing them to thelearning outcomes of the study program that suit them best; provides various training and activities that will enhance student’semotional and spiritual quotient; nurturing a good student-lecturer communication in the learning process with guidance and consultation until they meet the learning outcomes; conducting an edutainment learning methods with a clear and transparant assesment system.The tracer study results confirmed a success upon the efforts. Graduates of Narotama University are highly employable, 86% of them only takes 0-3 months to get a job. A total of 62.5% of respondents have a job corresponding to their field of study.

Abstract

Abstrak: Multikulturalisme dalam hal ini bukan hanya sebuah wacana namun sebuah ideologi yang harus diperjuangkan, karena dibutuhkan sebagai landasan bagi tegaknya demokrasi, HAM, dan kesejahteraan hidup masyarakat.  Multikulturalisme bukan sebuah ideologi yang berdiri sendiri terpisah dari ideologi-ideologi lainnya. Multikulturalisme membutuhkan seperangkat konsep dalam bentuk bangunan konsep yang dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan pemahaman dan pengembangan dalam konteks kehidupan bermasyarakat.   Untuk dapat memahami multikulturalisme diperlukan landasan pengetahuan berupa bangunan konsep yang relevan dan mendukung keberadaan serta fungsinya dalam kehidupan manusia.  Bangunan konsep ini harus dikomunikasikan antar para ahli yang mempunyai perhatian ilmiah yang sama tentang multikulturalisme sehinga terdapat kesamaan pemahaman dan saling mendukung dalam memperjuangkannya.  Berbagai konsep yang relevan dengan multikulturalisme antara lain adalah, demokrasi, keadilan dan hukum, nilai-nilai budaya dan etos, kebersamaan dalam perbedaan yang sederajat, sukubangsa, kesukubangsaan, kebudayaan suku bangsa, keyakinan keagamaan, ungkapan-ungkapan budaya, domain privat dan publik, HAM, hak budaya komuniti, dan konsep-konsep lain yang relevan.Abstract: Multiculturalism in this case is not just a discourse but an ideology that must be fought, because it is needed as a foundation for democracy,  human rights and the welfare of society. Multiculturalism is not an ideology that is independent from other ideologies. Multiculturalism requires a set of concepts in the form of building a concept that can be used as a reference for understanding and development in the context of social life. To understand multiculturalism, someone needs a foundation of knowledge in the form of building concepts that are relevant and supportive to the existence and function of the human life. The building concept is to be communicated between the experts who have the same scientific concern about multiculturalism, thus there is a common understanding and mutual support in the struggle. Various concepts that are relevant to the multiculturalism include democracy, justice and law, cultural values and ethos, unity in diversity, equal ethnic, ethnicity, culture, religious beliefs, expressions of culture, domain private and public, human rights, cultural rights of community, and other concepts that are relevant.
