There are many religious activities among the villagers of Mayangan, such as the reading of the QurâÄn at mosques held once a month. Generally, its done on Thursday before Friday Legi night and is followed by teens from different educational backgrounds. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences between youth education backgrounds and the capablity to read al-QurâÄn in Murong village. This type of research is quantitative. The research instrument used is documentation, observation, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study were teenagers in Murong village as many as 150 individuals with a sample of 30% of the population, ie 150 individuals with sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The conclusion of the study is that the capability to read al-QurâÄn = 18,011 + 0,412 for adolescents who have educational background. That is, the educational background is worth 0 (teenagers who do not have educational background), then the reading capability of al-QurâÄn ranges from 18,011.

Artikel ini membahas pengasuhan anak yatim dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Ada dua pertanyaan penting: (1) apa maksud pengasuhan anak yatim itu? (2) bagaimana pola asuh anak yatim dalam pendidikan Islam? Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) pengasuhan anak yatim yaitu proses perbuatan mengasuh, menjaga, dan membimbing yang dilakukan oleh orang dewasa, sebagai upaya membentuk kepribadian yang sempurna (kÄmil); (2) Pola asuh anak yatim memiliki dua bentuk, yaitu: pertama, bentuk keluarga, di mana keluarga tertentu mengangkat anak yatim untuk dijadikan anak asuh; kedua, bentuk panti asuhan atau asrama yang biasanya dikelola oleh yayasan tertentu.This article discusses the care of orphans in the perspective of Islamic education. There are two important questions: (1) what is an orphan care? (2) how is the pattern of orphan care in Islamic education? This study concludes that: (1) upbringing of orphans is the process of parenting, guarding and guiding by adults, in an attempt to form a perfect personality (kÄmil); (2) The pattern of foster care of orphans has two forms, namely: first, the form of the family, in which the particular family appoints the orphan to be a foster child; second, the form of an orphanage or dormitory that is usually managed by a particular foundation.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan tentang hubungan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan atau tidak antara kedua variabel tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji analisis statistik korelasi product moment. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel, yaitu hasil penilaian kinerja guru (variabel X) dan kompetensi guru PAI (variabel Y). Adapun data penelitian diperoleh dari dokumentasi data , interview dan penyebaran angket dengan bentuk tertutup. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa variabel X tergolong baik, dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 79 %. Sedangkan untuk variabel Y juga tergolong baik, dengan perolehan prosentase sebesar 85%. Dari hasil analisis statistik korelasi product moment didapatkan hasil rxy=0,98 untuk taraf kesalahan ditetapkan 5% dan N=24, maka r tabel=0,40. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan data bahwa r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.Abstract: Itâs field research that discusses the connection between teacher performance appraisal results and the competence of PAI (Islamic lessons) teachers in MTs (junior high school) located in Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a connection between two variables. This quantitative research uses statistical analysis on product moment correlation test. This research consisted of two variables, namely the assessment of teacher performance (variable X) and the competence of PAI teachers (variable Y). The data obtained from documentation, interviews and questionnaires with a closed form. The results of this research is that the variable X is quite good: 79%. The Y is also quite good, with the acquisition of the percentage of 85%. The results of statistical analysis of the results obtained product moment correlation r xy = 0.98 for the error rate set at 5%, and N = 24, then the tables r = 0.40. The results obtained from the data that r count larger than r table, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant connection between teacher performance assessment results and the competence of PAI teachers of MTs at Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.

Starting from the spiritual crisis that befell humans in modern era, the development of Western technology that is not balanced with the value of esoterios makes them crashing. Science that has been worshiped precisely the problem for humans by flowing the flow of globalization and information so powerful even according to Hosen Nasr, science eventually become rulers and dominate nature. The advancement of science and technology, the dominance of rationalism, empiricism and positivism, turns people into a modern life in which secularism becomes the mentality of the times and therefore spiritualism becomes a theme for modern life. Spiritual Based Education is based on the belief that education activity is worship to Allah SWT. Man was created as a holy servant of God and given the mandate to preserve the holiness. In general, spiritual-based education focuses its attention on spirituality as a prime potential for mobilizing every act of education and instruction, in this sense understood as a normative source of inspiration in educational and teaching activities, as well as spirituality as an educational goal. With the application of the concept of spiritualization of education. The integrity between faith and science, reason and religion, heart and mind is one of the models that education can effectively build a whole person. There are several factors that can influence the performance of lecturer, namely lecturer competence and job satisfaction of lecturer. This study aims to determine: the influence of competence on the performance of lecturers; the influence of job satisfaction on lecturer performance; and the influence of competence and job satisfaction on lecturerâs performance. This research was conducted at The University of KH A Wahab Hasbullah Tambakberas Jombang. The number of samples in this study was determined by using Isac and Michael table with 5% level of sobriety and the technique used was nonprobability covience sampling, so the number of samples in this study was 99 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between the variables of lecturer competence, job satisfaction and lecturer performance.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang efektivitas komunikasi organisasi pimpinan dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 45 responden karyawan Univesitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas komunikasi organisasi pimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerjakaryawan sebesar 39,3 % dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sebesar 38,9 %. Hal ini mendukung teori bahwa semakin efektif komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan dan kepuasan kerja maka semakin meningkat kinerja karyawan. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi pertimbangan pimpinan dalam membuat kebijakan dan keputusan terkait kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan.The research study examined the effectiveness of communication in organizational leadhership and job satisfaction on employee performance. 45 employees of University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang were respondents. Data analysis applied simple linear regression analysis. The result of this research show that the effectiveness of communication lead organization affects the performance of employees by 39% and job satisfaction affects the employee performance of 38, 9%. This supports the theory than the more effective leadhership communication done and job satisfaction then further improve the performance of employees. The practical implications of this study are expected to be considered leaders in making policies and decisions related to job satisfaction and employee performance.

A management capability that can be adopted in nonprofit organizations, a performance appraisal tool called the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a performance appraisal method. This method assessed the performance of a set of performance measures that have been compiled based on. The BSC bases its performance appraisal in four important perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal process perspective, and learning and growth perspective. The performance of RA Teachers is its success in providing efforts to stimulate, guide, nurture and provide learning activities that will result in skills and skills in child planning, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning processes that are based on the mental attitude and professionalism of teachers. The essence of teacher performance is none other than the ability of teachers to demonstrate the skills or competencies they have in the real world of work. The real world of teacher work is to teach children or their students in classroom learning activities, in performance based on pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, professional competence, and leadership.

Artikel ini mengkaji ideologi dan politik pendidikan perspektif peradaban Islam dan Barat. Tujuan kajian ini adalah pemetaan karakteristik masing-masing dan tentunya penulis melakukan penilaian-penilaian sekaligus juga mencoba menghadirkan salah satu studi kasus mengenai tema ini. Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa kajian mengenai ideologi ternyata tidak lepas dari kajian worldview (pandangan dunia). Worldview juga menyangkut persoalan umum tidak hanya dunia fisik tapi juga metafisis. Kajian worldview dapat mengetahui hakikat sebuah ideologi suatu bangsa. Ideologi lebih khusus terkait pikiran yang mempengaruhi dan mendorong tindakan sosial dan politik. Jelas bahwa, ketika peradaban Islam dan Barat dikaji melalui worldview maka terlihat perbedaan antara keduanya. Hal ini berimplikasi pada konsep ideologi keduanya yang mempengaruhi konsep ilmu dan praktik pendidikan. Sudah barang tentu hal ini merupakan konsekuensi logis dari sebuah bangunan peradaban. Dan terlihat jelas muatan dan pertarungan bahkan dominasi suatu worldview dan ideologi serta praktik politik pendidikan Islam dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia.This article examines the ideology and politics of educational perspectives of Islamic and Western civilization. The purpose of this study is to mapping the characteristics of each. Here I try to present one case on this theme. This article shows that the study of ideology can not separated from the worldview study. The worldview study also concerns the general problems of not only the physical world but also the metaphysical one. The worldview study can know the essence of an ideology of a nation. Ideologies are more specifically related thoughts that influence and encourage social and political action. It is clear that when Islamic and Western civilizations are studied through the worldview, there is a difference between the two. This implies both the concept of ideology that influences the concept of science and practice of education. Of course this is a logical consequence of a civilization. And clearly visible content and battle and even dominance of a worldview, ideology and political practice of Islamic education in the context of education in Indonesia.

Abstrak: Salah satu peran yang dituntut untuk dimainkan oleh guru sebagai pendidik di sekolah adalah peran orang tua, mengingat guru memang adalah orang tua kedua di sekolah. Setidaknya karena itulah dalam sistem pendidikan modern terdapat unsur kompetensi afektif yang harus ada pada diri guru profesional. Guru tidak hanya sekadar mentransfer pengetahuan dari dirinya kepada para peserta didik kemudian bersikap âlepas tangan.â Ini tentu jauh dari idealisme guru profesional. Jauh-jauh hari Rasulullah dalam satu hadis yang berbunyi âaku bagi kalian laksana ayahâ telah memberi teladan baik (uswah hasanah) tentang bagaimana guru harus berperan sebagai orang tua dalam setiap proses pendidikan dan pengajaran. Dengan metode deskriptif-analitis serta pendekatan ilmu hadis dan ilmu pendidikan, di sini penulis bermaksud menelusuri otentisitas dan validitas hadis âaku bagi kalian laksana ayah,â mengekspos pemahaman hadis âaku bagi kalian laksana ayahâ sebagaimana terdokumentasikan dalam literatur-literatur syarah hadis, dan mengidentifikasi relevansi antara hadis âaku bagi kalian laksana ayahâ dan sistem pendidikan modern. Selanjutnya penulis akan membuktikan bahwa peran guru sebagai orang tua kedua peserta didik di sekolah mempunyai dasar yang otentik dan valid sekaligus spesifik dalam hadis Nabi.Abstract: One of the roles needed to be played by teachers as educators at schools is the role of parents, because indeed teachers are the parents of students at schools. At least thatâs why there is an element of affective competencies that must exist in the professional teachers. Teachers donât just transfer knowledge to students and then leave them alone. Itâs certainly far from the ideals of professional teachers. In the 7th century the Prophet in a hadÄ«th that says âIâm for you like a fatherâ gave a good example (uswah hasanah) about how teachers should act as parents in every process of education and teaching. Using the descriptive-analytic method and the science of h}adÄ«th and science of education approach, the Author intends to explore the authenticity and validity of the h}adÄ«th âIâam to you like a father,â exposing understanding of the tradition of âIâm to you like a father,â as documented in the literature of sharh hadÄ«th, and identify the relevance between the h}adÄ«th âIâam to you like a fatherâ and the modern education system. Furthermore, the Authors will prove that the teachers role as second parents at school has an authentic, valid and specific base in the hadÄ«th of the Prophet.

This article discusses the influence of the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and compensation for teacher performance in SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang. The purpose of this research is: to know the influence of SMM 9001:2008 implementation to the teacher performance; to know the influence of the compensation for teacher performance; to find out the influence of the SMM ISO 9001:2008 implementation and the compensation simultaneously on the teacher performance. This is a correlational research with an expost facto approach. The population of this study are all teachers in SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang that amounted to 92 people. The methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and the the compensation either apart or together are very closely related to the teacher performance in Darul Ulum 2 SMA Unggulan BPPT Jombang.
