Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the competence of the Physics Education Students of UIN Mataram in the Physics Learning Innovation Course based on information technology in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. Participants in the study were Semester V and VII Students of the Study Program of Physics Education. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are the form of observation (participant performance), product assessment rubrics, and filling out questionnaires, which are described descriptively in the form of documentation, field notes, and participant actions. This study was directed in Odd Semester Academic Year 2019/2020. The instruments used included 1) observation sheet of student activities, 2) instrument performance test; 3) midterm test instruments, and final semester exams. The results showed that information technology-based learning could improve the competency of  Physics Education FTK UIN Mataram Students. Mainly their skills in the use of information technology in the form of using the google classroom application. They were making video learning using the Windows Live Movie Maker and video scribe (Sparkol) software, making learning blogs, making posters/learning leaflets, making computer-based test instruments (CBT), and the Physics Learning Innovation YouTube channel. These findings are reinforced by the final results of the average student score of 89.33 (A), with a standard deviation is 1.48, and excellent student response.

Abstract

Covid-19 has affected the education sector in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the decay rate of Carbon-14 and Uranium-238 isotopes in the first half, second and third half, and to determine the level of accuracy of the experiment using PhET Simulation. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The results showed the percentage of decay rate of Carbon-14 in the first half was 49%, the second half-life was 75.4%, and the third half-life was 84.5%. While the percentage of Uranium-238's decay rate in the first half is 49.6%, the second half-life is 74%, and the third half-life is 85.9%. The accuracy level for the Carbon-14 isotope using PhET Simulation was 98.35%, while the accuracy level for Uranium-238 isotope using PhET Simulation was 99.95%. Therefore, PhET Simulation can be used as a solution for part-time practicum during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

Pada abad-21 seorang guru harus mempunyai keterampilan mengajar khususnya pada teknologi dan informasi. Guru harus mengatur strategi, teknologi, dan media yang akan digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi dan memandu proses belajar pada peserta didik. Kemampuan TPACK penting dimiliki oleh seorang guru untuk memadukan teknologi dengan pedagogik dan pengetahuannya tentang konten Fisika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan TPACK seorang guru menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis google apps. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka dengan menganalisis enam artikel yang paling relevan. Hasil dari kajian Pustaka tersebut menjelaskan bahwa kemampuan TPACK ini perlu dimiliki oleh seorang guru dalam pembelajaran karena didalamnya sudah terpadu antara pedagogik, pengetahuan, dan teknologinya. Namun pada kenyataannya seorang guru masih belum  memiliki kemampuan tersebut. Penggunaan Google Apps dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan TPACK guru karena penggunaan google apps dalam  pembelajaran lebih efektif dan hasilnya pun lebih baik daripada pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan media google apps.

Abstract

Materi IPA khususnya sifat materi fisika yang kuantitatif, yaitu menggunakan konsep-konsep serta hubungan antara beberapa konsep yang memiliki banyak perhitungan matematis sehingga siswa sering merasa bosan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan  bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran simulasi interaktif berbasis adobe flash materi suhu dan kalor dan menganalisis bagaimana kelayakan pengembangan media pembelajaran simulasi interaktif berbasis adobe flash materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian  (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan metode 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination).  Pengembangan media dimulai dengan pembuatan draft awal dalam bentuk story board yang kemudian disusun menggunakan fitur dalam adobe flash. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil angket dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan responden uji coba kelas kecil dan kelas besar diolah untuk menentukan tingkat kelayakan dari media pembelajaran. Adapun hasil penelitian dari ahli media mendapatkan rerata skor sebesar 3,625 ahli materi mendapatkan rerata skor rata- rata 3,53 dan 3,67 dari uji coba kelas kecil dan kelas besar mendapatkan rerata skor sebesar 3,59 dan 3, 62 dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran simulasi interaktif suhu dan kalor mampu membuat peserta didik mudah mudah menyerap isi materi suhu dan kalor dengan mensimulasikan suatu praktikum kedalam media pembelajaran.
