Abstract

This research is motivated by the low value of writing learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN Margorejo Surabaya in the 2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of writing ability using electronic student worksheets based on STAD learning in fifth grade students of SDN Margorejo. This research is a classroom action research using a 2 cycle design. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The object of this research is the writing learning process for the fifth grade students of SDN Margorejo, totaling 30 students with details of 11 males and 19 females. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The results showed an increase in writing ability using STAD learning-based electronic student worksheets from the pre-cycle average score of 62 to 74 in cycle 1 and increased to 89 in cycle 2. learn to write for fifth graders at SDN Margorejo Surabaya in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This study examines the Strategy for Increasing the Professionalism of Class VI Teachers in the 3rd District of Batang District. The specific objectives of the study were to describe the professionalism of class VI teachers and to describe strategies for increasing the professionalism of class VI teachers in the target areas of 3 Batang District. The usefulness of research is that it can be used as relevant further study material. Discussion of "Strategies for Increasing the Professionalism of Class VI Teachers in the 3 Batang Subdistrict" as an inseparable part of education management which will be discussed in strengthening the validity and reliability in the implementation of school management. The population of this research is the sixth grade teacher in the target area 3, Batang District. A total of 16 people. In this study using primary data. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, because the data collected and the analysis are more qualitative in nature. The results showed that teacher professionalism has four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence obtained through professional education. The emergence of PAIKEM learning and the success of improving the quality of education and the strategies implemented in improving the Professionalism of Class VI Teachers in the target area of Batang District with Academic Supervision of School Supervisors, Advanced Study of Undergraduate Programs, Courses and Training, Utilization of Professional Journals, Seminars and Discussions. By going through six (6) strategies to improve teacher professionalism, both supported by the policies of the service and institution or the target area, they are able to create teachers who have good professionalism. Suggestions that can be recommended by this research are the need for teachers to always improve their professionalism, in order to carry out their professional duties well in the digital era and the rapid development of science, information and communication.

Abstract

Parenting parents play an essential role in developing children's learning motivation. However, children with intellectual disabilities often experience failure, which causes children to despair quickly. Under these conditions, children with intellectual disabilities need appropriate parenting to develop learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting style (X2) and learning motivation of intellectual disabilities students (X2) at SLB BC Dharma Wanita 03 Negeri Malang. This research was conducted with quantitative methods using a correlational research design. Questionnaires and interviews did data collection. The data were analyzed by Spearman rank correlation analysis. The study results: there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns (X1) and learning motivation of intellectual disabilities students (X2) with a Spearman Rho correlation value of 0.872 with a significance level of 0.001. This study concludes that there is a positive and direct relationship between parenting patterns (X1) and the learning motivation of intellectual disabilities students (X2) and has a strong relationship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students not being able to understand the subject matter of Javanese language as in understanding Javanese vocabulary, this is because in online learning the learning methods used by teachers are less innovative which have an impact on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties in the implementation of online learning in class II Javanese language lessons for students at SDN 01 Purwoharjo, Pemalang Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are students and teachers. Student and teacher data obtained through filling out questionnaires and interviews, namely 1 teacher and 5 students. Data were analyzed based on aspects found in the implementation of online learning of Javanese language. In the results of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, it was found that the results of research on the online learning process in class II Javanese language lessons at SDN 01 Purwoharjo, Pemalang Regency showed that students had difficulties in understanding Javanese online learning materials.

Abstract

Children with special needs require educational services in the form of a different learning process from children in general. One kind of child with special needs is a dyslexic child. In general, dyslexic children experience several learning difficulties, one of which is difficulty reading and writing. This study aims to analyze the use of spelling puzzle media in improving the reading ability of dyslexic children. The subjects in this study were dyslexic grade III students at SDN Tambakboyo II who collected four students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, reading tests and observations. Data is presented in the form of diagrams and then analyzed descriptively. The main problem in this study is whether the spelling puzzle media can help dyslexic children improve reading skills. The results showed that the use of spelling puzzle media can improve reading skills at the beginning reading level. Increased reading ability as a reaction to the increase in memory and motivation of dyslexic children through spelling puzzle pieces. Other findings in this study increased learning activities, motivation and interest in reading dyslexia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in the subject of reaction rates. The research subjects were 180 class XI students and 36 students were taken as samples at SMA Negeri 1 Bantarbolang. In this study using qualitative methods, data were collected using 10 critical thinking skills test questions that represent 4 aspects of critical thinking, including aspects of providing explanations, building basic skills, managing strategies and tactics, and concluding. Students who have been taught this material to spell according to their abilities. Through the google form that has been sent students work on these questions. The results show that the overall thinking ability of students is 36.87 including the low category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's science process skills through experimental methods in children in Group B of the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Manding Village. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The research model was carried out in two cycles, and each cycle was carried out in two meetings. The subjects of this study were 25 children in group B, comprising 15 boys and 10 girls. Methods of data collection are done through observation and documentation. The results showed that the experimental method could improve children's science process skills. No seven children (28%) had sufficient and good science process skills before the action were taken. After the action in Cycle I, children's science process skills increased by 13 children (52%), and in Cycle II increased to 19 children (76%) with moderate, good, and very good. In learning using the experimental method, the teacher invites children to discuss procedures, equipment, and materials for experiments as well as things that need to be observed during the experiment, then provide an explanation accompanied by examples. Furthermore, children can try to practice themselves, make observations, prove the truth of the predictions, overcome problems arising in the experiment, and draw conclusions.
