Abstract

Commodity beef is a commodity with enthusiasts the highest compared to other meat commodities such as meat goat, buffalo and pigs. High protein content in beef is the consumer's choice to increase the consumption of beef. This study aims to determine the exchange rate of the US dollar, the price of imports, domestic prices and production quantities of the volume of imports of beef in Indonesia in 1998 - 2013 by using multiple linear regression analysis tenknik. The results showed that the US dollar exchange rate, the price of imports, domestic prices and production quantities simultaneous effect on the volume of imports of beef in Indonesia in 1998 - 2013 while partially obtained that the US dollar exchange rate, the price of imports, domestic prices have no significant effect the volume of imports of beef in Indonesia in 1998 - 2013 and the number of production significantly influence the volume of imports of beef in Indonesia 1998 - 2013.Berkaitan with the results of the research, the authors suggest increasing the quantity of national beef production so as to meet domestic consumption and ultimately reduce the amount of imports and resulting in the production of beef is equivalent to beef imports, so that it can satisfy people's consumption. Improving the quality of beef production in a manner free from foot and month disease infectious diseases (FMD) so that consumers do not hesitate to choose beef imports.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital, the level of education and technology to the SMEs in the area of ??revenue Imam Bonjol West Denpasar. This study used quantitative research is to look at the amount of capital, the level of education of the owners of SMEs and SME technology used. This study used a sample of 59 companies located in the region of West Denpasar Imam Bonjol. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression.  It was found that capital partially positive and significant effect on the income of SMEs in the West Denpasar Imam Bonjol. The level of education and technology also have positive and significant impact on revenues partially Imam Bonjol SMEs in the West Denpasar. Simultaneously capital, level of education and technology also have positive and significant impact on the income of SMEs in the region of Imam Bonjol West Denpasar.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze reciprocal effect between poverty and economic growth in the province of Bali during the period 2009-2014. The analysis technique used this research is Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS). This research examined the effect of 5 variables: economic growth, minimum wage, education, health, and unemployment to poverty, and the impact of 4 variables: poverty, labor, local revenue, and investment to economic growth. The analysis shows that there is noreciprocal effect between poverty and economic growth in Bali province during the period of the research. Meanwhile, variables minimum wage, education and health have a significant effect on poverty, on the other hand, labor force have a significant effect on economic growth. In order to reducing poverty through economic growth, the government is expected to focus on productive sectors in every region combined with labor and technology so that will improve the welfare of people in each area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze economic growth and income disparities among districts in Gianyar regrency. This research used secondary data have been applied Klassen Typology, Williamson Index and Regresion methods. Klassen typology analysis result that Gianyar regency in divided in to four classifications of growth: rapid growth region, retarted region, growing region, relatively backward region. According to williamson index disparity income in Gianyar regency generally increased from the period 1993 until 2009. Although still relatively low increases limp average value of 0,300 (stil below 0,5). Kuznets hypothesis showing the relationship between economic growth and inequality inverse U-Shaped effect in Gianyar This researchis recommended to the local goverments implemanted and take more attention to the low growth and low income districts without neglecting areas that have been developed and equality of results  outcomes of development

Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems often faced by people and the poverty problem as old as the age of humanity it self. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education, per capita GDP, and unemployment simultaneously and partially on the number of poor people, and to determine which variables are the most dominant influence on the number of poor people of Bali Province 2007-2013. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis found that education, per capita GDP, and unemployment simultaneously significant effect on the number of poor people. Education partially negative effect on the number of poor population, GDP per capita is partially negative and significant effect on the number of poor people, while the unemployment rate is partially positive and significant effect on the number of poor. ariables that affect the most dominant on the number of poor people is the variable GDP per capita.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of simultaneous and partially between the number of foreign tourists, the U.S. dollar exchange rate, and the level of security on the acceptance of regional gross domestic product in Badung tourism sector. Source of data used are secondary data sources. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with the observation period from year 1998 to 2012. F test results indicate that the number of foreign tourists, the U.S. dollar exchange rate, and simultaneously affect the security level of the regional gross domestic product acceptance in Badung tourism sector. T test results showed that the number of foreign tourists and the U.S. dollar exchange rate has a positive effect, while the security level had no effect on gross regional domestic product acceptance in Badung tourism sector.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh bahan baku, modal dan pengalaman kerja terhadap produktivitas dan pendapatan pengerajin wayang kamasan. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Kamasan Kabupaten Klungkung Provinsi Bali. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 81 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan wawancara mendalam. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis jalur (Path Analisis) dan uji Sobel untuk menganalisis pengaruh tidak langsung melalui variabel intervening. Hasil dari Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bahan Baku, Modal, dan Pengalaman Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas. Bahan baku, dan Pengalaman Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan. Modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan Pengerajin Lukisan Wayang Kamasan di Desa Kamasan kabupaten Klungkung. Produktivitas merupakan variabel mediasi antara Bahan Baku terhadap Pendapatan. Produktivitas bukan merupakan variabel mediasi antara Modal, dan Pengalaman Kerja Terhadap Pendapatan Pengerajin Lukisan Wayang Kamasan di Desa Kamasan kabupaten Klungkung. Kata Kunci: bahan baku, modal, pengalaman kerja, produktivitas, pendapatan

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country which most of the population works in agriculture sector. Therefore, the agricultural sector contributes significantly to economic growth. Agricultural sectors is expected to fulfil the needs of people consumption.This research have a purposes are: (1) to determine the effect of capital, labor, and land simultaneously and partially on the number of Arabica coffee production in the district of Kintamani Bangli, (2) to determine the nature of Arabica coffee production in the district of Kintamani Bangli. The samples of this study are 100 farmers of arabican coffee that taken by using the proportional area random sampling method, which is sampling based on the region where the respective parts of the sample drawn at random. This study uses primary data, that means data is collected by interviews. Data analysis techniques in this research is multiple linear analysis techniques. The result of this study are, capital, labor, and land simultaneously significant effect against the number of Arabican coffee production in Kintamani Bangli. Partially, capital, labor and land area are significantly influence the amount of Arabica coffee production in Kintamani Bangli.

Abstract

The cooperative is one of the strengths of economic container in the Indonesia economy. The number of units in the district Badung KPRI lowest compared with other district/city in the province of Bali. Service quality and member participation is expected able to increase the amount of net income (SHU) obtained cooperatives. This study aims to determine the direct effect of service quality and participation of the members of net income (SHU) and the indirect influence between the quality of service to net income (SHU) through the participation of members. This study was conducted in seven Employees Cooperative Republic of Indonesia ( KPRI ) are active and carry out RAT 2014 in Badung . The data used in this study are primary data , by taking 98 samples using the method of proportional random purposive sampling while the analysis method used is the analysis of Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Path or path analysis to determine the influence of direct and Sobel test to determine the effect is not immediate. The analysis showed that the quality of services and significant positive direct effect on the participation of members. Quality of service and the direct participation of members of a positive and significant impact on operating results (SHU). Indirectly affect service quality significantly to net income (SHU) through the participation of members. Means the participation of members of an intervening variable of service quality and operating results (SHU).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of traders about the market performance after the revitalization of traditional markets in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur. This research was conducted at the Village Market Indigenous Intaran Sanur by using 72 samples as respondents. Data collected through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics to determine the perception of traders about the market performance after the revitalization of traditional markets in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur and factor analysis, and regression analysis to determine the effect of market performance against the empowerment of traders in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur. Based on factor analysis, known indicator that has the ability to explain the most high-performance variable to construct the market: guidance to the merchant. Based on the statistical t-test results, it can be concluded that the market performance positive and significant impact on the empowerment of the merchants in the Market Village People Intaran Sanur.
