Abstract

As an agricultural country, Indonesia has great potentials in the agricultural sector. But nowadays,the problem occurred in the agricultural sector is quite disturbing indonesian's economic. The increasing of horticultural products import, showed as if horticultural products could not compete. Based on data from BPS, horticultural commoditiy imported highest is garlic. This research intended to determine the influence of consumption, production, U.S. dollar exchange rate and the GDP of agriculture to the import of garlic in  Indonesia. Besides that, this research also aimed to determine the variables that most affected the import of garlic, which used linear regression analysis. The results showed that consumption, production, U.S. dollar exchange rate and the GDP of agricilture effected simutaniosly and significant to the import of garlic. Then partially, consumption and the GDP of agriculture has significant and positive effect to the import of garlic. Production and the U.S. dollar exchange rate had no significant effect and the variables that most affected to the import of garlic in indonesia is GPD of agriculture.

Abstract

Inequality of income distribution in the province of Bali is one of the serious problems, it is because of growth in each district / city different. The purpose of this study is to see whether economic growth is a variable mediating the indirect effect of exports and foreign investment to the unequal distribution of income. This study uses data from the data panel comprising eight counties and one city in the period 2007-2013. The analysis technique used is path analysis. Based on the analysis found that the export of positive and significant effect on economic growth, while foreign investment is not significant to the economic growth. Economic growth is positive and significant effect on the unequal distribution of income. Meanwhile, the direct effect of exports on income inequality of food distribution having an negative and significant, whereas the effect of direct foreign investment to the unequal distribution of income does not significantly, and economic growth is a variable mediating the indirect effect of exports and foreign investment to the unequal distribution of income

Abstract

Gianyar is a regency/city of art that have excelled in the field of small creative industries. The industry made a major contribution to the welfare of the community to reduce unemployment. This study aimed to analyze the influence of capital, hours of work, and education on craft production in Dulang Fiber Village Bresela Gianyar regency. Effect of production to earnings craftsmen Dulang Fiber in the Village Bresela Gianyar regency. Variable production as an intervening variable capital influence, hours of work, and education to earnings craftsmen Dulang Fiber in the Village Bresela Gianyar regency. Methods of data collection in research by interview and observation using a questionnaire. The analysis technique using path analysis. The results of data analysis capital amounted to 0.474 positive effect on production, capital has the most effect on production. Hours of work amounted to 0.148 positive effect on production. Education positive effect amounting to 0,044 on the production and the production of a positive effect on revenues amounting to 0.998 craftsmen Dulang Fiber. Production variables influence an intervening variable capital, hours of work, and education to earnings craftsmen Dulang Fiber.

Abstract

Badung market hit by fire accident in February 2016 ago. The largest market in Denpasar City became paralyzed instantly and the government imposed a relocation policy of Badung Market traders. Selected location is Ex Supermarket Tiara Grosir Banjar Balun Denpasar. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of working capital, working hours and length of business simultaneously and partially to income, and to determine whether there is a decrease in income before and after relocated. Primary data with quantitative methods in the form of associative in use in this study. The sample in this research is the market trader of Badung City Denpasar as many as 90 people, sampling technique with accindental sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study showed that simultaneously and partially working capital, working hours and length of business significantly influence the income of Badung Market traders in Denpasar, while relocation has no significant effect on income. The decline in merchant revenue after the relocation is due to the physical and non-physical condition of the Ex Supermarket Tiara Grosir. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze 1) direct influence of capital and work experience on productivity, 2) direct influence of capital, work experience and productivity on income, 3) the influence of capital and work experience on income indirectly through productivity in pig farmers in the Regency Bangli. This research was conducted in Bangli District with respondents of pig farmers who have pigs> 10 head. The sample in this study amounted to 64 respondents. The data analysis technique used is path analysis / path analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that capital and work experience had a positive and significant effect on the productivity of pig farmers in Bangli Regency. Capital, work experience and productivity have a positive and significant impact on the income of pig farmers in Bangli Regency. Capital and work experience have an indirect influence through productivity on the income of pig farmers in Bangli Regency. Suggestions from this study pig farmers must increase their capital and work experience to increase their productivity and opinion. Keywords: capital, work experience, productivity and income

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the time allocation of women’s labour in the informal sector of trading, and explain the variables that influence simultaneously and partially. Research was conducted in the Village of Dangin Puri Klod subdistrict of Denpasar Timur and sampling technique was used by purposive sampling. Analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results of hypothesis testing simultaneously can be known that household income, education level, household dependents, and presence of children under five year affect women’s labour time allocation. Partially, the variables of household income and children under five years had negative and significant impact on women’s labour time allocation. While the level of education and household dependents affected positive and significant.

Abstract

Commodities of craft is a leading commodity exports of the province of Bali, because these commodities provide a substantial contribution to the total exports of the province of Bali. One of craft which is able to penetrate the export market it is leather craft. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the US dollar exchange rate, leather production, and the interest rates on working capital loans simultaneously and partially on the export of leather craft in Bali period 1991-2012 and leather craft export prospects for the next five years. The test used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that simultaneous significant effect on the export of leather craft Bali Province. Partially, leather production have significant effect, whereas the US dollar exchange rate and interest rates on working capital loans no significant effect on the export of leather craft Bali Province. Export prospects leather craft Bali Province in the next five years is likely to increase.

Abstract

Tourism is an important industry for the economy of Bali province that does not have natural resources such as oil and gas , forest products and manufacturing industries. This study examines the effect of the number of tourist arrivals , average length of stay of foreign tourists, the average foreign tourist spending and revenue trade hotels and restaurants (PHR) of Bali Province in 2000-2012, using secondary data from the Bali Provincial Tourism Office and the BPS Bali Province. This study used path analysis (path analysis) with the results of equations simultaneously substructure 1 is the number of tourist arrivals and average length of stay significantly influence the average foreign tourist spending partially but the average length of stay of foreign tourists do not affect the average expenditure of foreign tourists. Substructure Equation 2 is simultaneously the number of tourist arrivals, average length of stay of foreign tourists and the average spending foreign tourists have a effect on the income PHR sector, only the average length of stay is no partial effect on PHR sector.

Abstract

The participation of women in the activities increased revenues can be seen from the amount of income obtained. Women's work is generally not as the main breadwinner although it is possible that the income will be very useful to support the family economy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of direct and indirect labor income demographic variables against women through the allocation of work time female workers at Pasar Badung. This study using quota sampling method in data collection and analysis technique for the analysis of the data path. Based on the analysis found that age is a significant negative effect on the income of women workers in Pasar Badung while the allocation of working time and a significant positive effect on the income of women workers in Pasar Badung. The number of dependents and the allocation of working time and a significant positive effect on the income of women workers in Pasar Badung. Age and number of dependents indirect effect on labor income women through the allocation of women laborers working time in Badung market or in other words the allocation of working time is a variable mediating the effect of age and the number of dependents on labor income women through the allocation of work time.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the social problems that have become a social problem that has become a global problem in almost all countries, including Indonesia. Poverty itself is also caused by a variety of factors that are not much different from the unemployed. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect poverty in Karangasem regency. This research was conducted in Karangasem regency. Data collected through the documents contained in the BPS Bali. The data used in this research is secondary data is data time series that began in 1999 until 2014. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis result that the GDP and education have negative and significant effect of on poverty. Unemployment as well as have a positive effect on poverty in Karangasem regency.
