Abstract

This research is the kind of design research that has purpose to produce learning path at netto, bruto, tara in seventh grade of junior high school using snack’s context. In this research there are learning instruction series which is designed and developed according to the learning activities assumption that used is Pendidikan Matematika realistik Indonesia (PMRI). This research was done by 22 Junior High School students at VII grade as a research’s subject by producing learning trajectory (LT) that will help the student to find out netto, bruto, tara by the using of activity series at learning process. At the informal stage, as the beginning activity, researcher serves several snacks that will be measured by the student. Next at the preformal stage, student will start to find the common from the activity that they had done. After that student will be able to change to the mathematic sentence as model of. The next stage is model for where student could find the netto, bruto, tara formula so at the formal stage student able to solve the questions that relate to the daily life.

Abstract

This research is a development research consisting of two development models, namely: (1) Multimedia product development model according to William. W. Lee & Diana Owens and (2) Evaluate the development using Rowntree. The development of this electronic module was adopted from the development steps of Owens & Lee which have five stages as follows: (1) analysis consisting of field studies & needs analysis in the basic competency learning process for installing electricity lighting and wiring systems; (2) product design consists of: determining media specifications, creating a flowchart, determining learning strategies, determining the software to be used; (3) product development; (4) implementation; and (5) evaluation. The results of this research are from the assessment of media experts and material experts about the feasibility of this electronic module, in terms of the display aspects of 31 average 4.43 with very good criteria. Programming aspects amounted to 32 with an average of 4.57 criteria Very Good, learning aspects amounted to 37 average 4.63 with very good criteria, and material aspects amounting to 50 average 4.55 with the criteria Very Good. While the results of the assessment of students field tests on aspects of the display, on the aspects of programming, on aspects of learning, and on the aspect of content has an assessment of 847 on average 4,405 with the criteria of "very good".

Abstract

This literature review aims to show the subject of Citizenship Education is one of the compulsory subjects at university level, it shows if Citizenship Education has an important role in the effort to realize the goal of education in Indonesia. But in practice in the field, sometimes this subject is considered boring by the students so that the achievement of existing learning in Citizenship Education is not achieved optimally. What makes this subject boring is the use of lecture methods in lectures, civic education lecturers tend to often use lecture methods without accompanied by the use of other media. To overcome this, in lecturers lectures can use learning media that are able to attract interest and generate motivation from students. PowToon as a multimedia application can be used as a learning media, in addition to very easy to use this application also has a variety of interesting features in it. It is hoped that using PowToon as a learning medium can realize what is expected from civic education learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between MDA levels and BDNF levels in elderly who performed physical exercise terportgram. This research method uses laboratory experimental research with pree test and post test analysis. The object of research is elderly who are in healthy heart club of branch of sumsel which done in 60 years sempel as much as 20 elderly. Data filing, blood pressure, body tension, weight. MDA levels with TBARS method and BDNF content of information by ELISA method. Spearman rho test results indicate that there is a clear correlation between MDA and BDNF levels with very strong levels in physical exercise (r = 0.06) and (r = 0.42). The conclusion that exists between the levels of Malondialdehyda (MDA) and the Brain Derived Neuronthropic Factor (BDNF) level in the elderly performs preprogrammed physical exercise. This research can be used to train what can improve coqnitive function.

Abstract

The development of technology is increasing rapidly. In this case, the development of technology has its own pros and cons for the people, especially in education. Therefore, the purpose of this paper are firstly to prove that social media, which one of them is Instagram, can be an alternative for the enhancement of student motivation especially in mathematics lesson and secondly to know other functions of social media nowadays. With the development of the current era, SIM (Study Instagram Mathematics) is one of the social-media-based learning, especially Instagram, by utilizing various existing features to support the means of media for interactive learning media. During this time most people know that social media can cause negative impact as it declinelearning motivation. But actually, otherwise, social media have benefits for life, especially in the implementation of education. In this case, one of the social media, Instagram, can be used as one of the learning media that can increase student motivation. One way to improve students' motivation in learning mathematics, for now, is through the existence of an account of interesting and useful social media in the dissemination of positive information about learning, one of which mathematics learning through SIM (Study Instagram Mathematics).

Abstract

Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sriwijaya University is one of the social science study programs which courses contain many theories or concepts. One of them is constitutional theory and law course. In conveying the material, a lecturer as the advisor should prepare a textbook containing content which is able to facilitate the students to understand the material so that the learning becomes more meaningful. Therefore, the researcher, as the advisor of constitutional theory and law course, compiled a contextual-based textbook. This research was aimed to produce textbook of constitutional theory and law course based on context to improve students’ understanding. This research was a type of research and development referring to R & D Cycle Borg and Gall and was aligned with the established research objectives. The steps in this research were conducting a preliminary study to find out things that students need during the learning as well as developing and testing the product of constitutional theory and law textbook. Furthermore, the techniques for collecting the data were documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The result of this research showed that the development of contextual-based textbook is able to improve the understanding of the material in constitutional theory and law course.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent of test results and initial ability of students (KAM) on the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving (KPMM) and mathematical understanding (KPM) of students through Probing Prompting learning techniques. Probing methods developed with Prompting are as follows: The teacher exposes the student to a new situation, for example by looking at pictures, formulas or other situations that contain problems. Waiting for a moment to give the students an opportunity to formulate an answer or conduct a small discussion in formulating it, The teacher asks students to match the specific learning objectives (TPK) or indicators to all students, waiting for a moment to give the students an opportunity to formulate an answer or conduct a small discussion in formulating it. In the face-to-face study dikuliah Differential Equation, assisted blended learning is by using the internet online. This research uses test class and also see KAM that is student ability early on high level, medium and low. The subject of this research is a mathematics student at PGRI University of Palembang. Based on the results of the analysis seen the results of tests on indicators of problem-solving skills and students' mathematical understanding, as well as the initial ability (KAM).

Abstract

This research is aimed at figuring out the role of learning activity using mathematical modelling in order to help pupils comprehend the linear programming. This research is conducted to the XI grade students of Xaverius 1 Palembang Senior High School. The learning implementation is conducted in XI Science class, which consists of 38 students. This research involves the mathematics teacher who acts as a model teacher to teach linear programming material. The method used in this research is the design research. The data are collected through video recording, taking picture during the learning process, students activity sheet, observation sheet, interview, and field notes during the learning process. The research result states that learning activity using mathematical modelling is benficial in providing the students opportunity to construct the linear programming knowledge by their own selves. Through independently thinking, students are given opportunity to express their idea about linear programming problem using mathematical modelling learning. Next, by asking the teacher, reading books, doing group discussion, and getting teacher’s reinforcement, the students are enable to enlarge the comprehension of linear programming.
