Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether institutional ownership, Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), current ratio (CR), dividend payout ratio (DPR), and debt to equity ratio (DER) affects the firm value. The population is manufacturing companies which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. The sample in this study is 14 companies with purposive sampling method. Firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), liquidity is proxied by Current ratio (CR), dividend policy is proxied by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and debt policy is proxied by Debt to equity ratio (DER). Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis by using a eviews 9 program. The result show that th institutional ownership, ROA, and DPR have no effect on firm value, ROE have positive effect on firm value, CR and DER have negative effect on firm value.

Abstract

This research aims to know the role of innovative work behavior mediation and adaptability on the relationship of humor and narcissistic personality on the innovative output. The population in this study was all owners of SME in the Semarang city. The data collection method were observation, interview, and questioners. The sampling technique was multiple random sampling. The sample size was 201 SME actors. Methods of data analysis applied in this research were descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, and hypothesis test. The data analysis was done by using WarpPLS software version 6.0. The results showed that humor and narcissistic personality increases innovative work behavior, adaptability and innovative output. In addition, innovative work behavior and adaptability also had a positive and significant influence on innovative output. Furthermore, this research found that the effect of humor and narcissistic personality on innovative output can be mediated by innovative work behavior and adaptability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of abusive supervision on employee silence with emotional exhaustion and organizational justice as a variable mediation. The population in this research is employees of textile and garment companies in Semarang Distcrict which is growing rapidly. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and questionnaires. Sampling technique using multistage cluster sampling technique and the number of sample were 199. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and collected data were analyzed by using WarpPLS software version 6.0. The results showed that abusive supervision had a positive and significant effect on the employee silence. Emotional exhaustion and organizational justice can mediate the relationship between abusive supervision on employee silence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the quality of working life and emotional intelligence on the performance through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The population of this study on nurses at Christian Hospital Ngesti Waluyo Temanggung as many as 189 people. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and literature study. The sampling technique using proportional cluster sampling technique as many as 129 people. Methods of data analysis using classical assumption test, regression analysis and path analysis. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 21. The results showed that the quality of work life had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Emotional intelligence positive effect on organizational commitment. Quality of work life has a positive effect on performance. Emotional intelligence has a positive effect on performance. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on performance. The quality of work life positive effect on performance through organizational commitment. Emotional intelligence positive effect on performance through organizational commitment. Suggestions for the agency is to perform the briefing prior to the work and to supervise and control the tasks and responsibilities of the nurse, then evaluated and the results communicated to the person concerned.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the direct effect of satisfaction, variety seeking and alternative attractiveness on switching behavior through switching intentions. The population in this study are visitors to the Café Sisemoet Ungaran in May 2018. The technique of sampling used was incidental sampling with 115 respondents. The data collection included questionnaires, documentation, and path analysis as the method of the data analysis. Data analysis is done by using partial test and path analysis test with help of SPSS 21 for Windows.The results showed that satisfaction has direct effect negatively and significantly toward switching behavior, while variety seeking and attractiveness alternatives have a positive and significant direct influence on switching behavior. The results of path analysis test proved that satisfaction, variety seeking, and attractiveness alternatives have indirect effect toward switching behavior through switching intentions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of empowering leadership on the employee creativity by motivation to learn and trust in leader as a mediation variable. The population in this study is all State-Owned Bank Employees in Semarang City. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Sampling technique using multi-stage sampling technique. The sample size is 220 people. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis, goodness-fit model analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis. Data analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with WarpPLS version 6.0. The results show that empowering leadership positively influences motivation to learn, trust in leader, and employee creativity. In addition, the results of the study also showed that motivation to learn and trust in leader have a positive effect on employee creativity. Furthermore, the motivation to learn and trust in the leader is able to mediate between empowering leadership on employee creativity. The conclusion of this research is to produce a creative employee, it takes the role of a leader who can empower his subordinates. The ability of leaders to empower their subordinates will have a good impact on their employees, especially increasing the motivation to learn and trust in leaders. So that employees are optimal in expressing their creativity in the workplace. Suggestions for state-owned banking management that is more able to pay attention to the needs of employees and give confidence in subordinates to participate in solving problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job stress and leader-member exchange on job performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable. The population of this study were all employees of PTPN IX Kebun Getas Afdeling Assinan Kempul. The samples used were 70 Employees. The sampling technique used saturated sample technique. Data collection method used is the method of observation, interview method, and questionnaire method as measured by Likert scale. Analysis of data using multiple regression analysis and path analysis with SPSS program version 23. The results showed that there is no influence job stress on job performance; There is influence job stress on employee engagement; There is influence of leader-member exchange on job performance and employee engagement; There is influence of employee engagement on job performance. The results of this study also show that employee engagement is able to mediate job stress on performance; And employee engagement able to mediate leader-member exchange on job performance employees of PTPN IX Kebun Getas Afdeling Assinan-Kempul.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of intellectual capital to profitability of banking companies. The sample of this research is 35 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2016. The method of data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The result showed the regression coefficients variable VACA is as much as 2.632 and sig score 0.010; regression coefficient variable is as much as 4.256 and sig score 0.000; regression coefficient variable is as much as -1.148 and sig score 0.253. The concusion of this research is VACA and VAHU have positif dan significant effect on profitability of banking companies, and STVA has negative and no significant effect on profitability of banking companies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct indirect influence of store atmosphere, customer relationship management, and customer satisfaction as an intervening variable on customer loyalty. The population this research is Loffle Pop Up Dessert visitor in Semarang. Sampling technique using purposive sampling questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive percentage and path analysis. The results show that store atmosphere does affect customer loyalty, customer relationship management affect customer loyalty and customer satisfaction influence cutomer loyalty and mediate the influence of store atmosphere and customer relationship management on customer loyalty.
