Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Rembang. Penelitian quasi experimental ini menggunakan desain pretes postes nonequivalent control group. Sampel yang digunakan adalah X MIA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t post-test diperoleh thitung sebesar 10,12 t tabel = 1,67, sehingga Ho ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t N-Gain yang menggunakan taraf ketidakpastian 5% dan dk= 59 diperoleh harga t tabel = 1,67 sedangkan harga t hitung = 3,55. Harga t hitung > t tabel , sehingga Ho ditolak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Penerapan model PBL berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis Siswa SMA pada materi protista.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning on student’s critical thinking skills from class X SMA N 1 Rembang. The research method was Quasi experimental with Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The samples were taken by technique cluster random sampling and obtained X MIA 5 as class experiment and X MIA 6 as class control. The analysis of post-test and n-gain t-test results the critical thinking skills of class experiment were better than class control. The result of pot-test t-test obtained t-calculated = 10.12 and t-table = 1.67, concluded that critical thinking skills of class experiment is greater than class control. The result of n-gain t-test obtained t-table = 1.67, whereas t-calculated = 3.55. The value of t-calculated > t-table, and can be concluded as the enhancement of critical thinking skills of class experiment was greater than class control. The implementation of PBL gave positive effect on senior high school student’s critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Buku panduan asesmen otentik yang disusun oleh Direktorat Pembinaan SMA (2013) menunjukkan ‘kurang tepat’ untuk digunakan oleh guru biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan asesmen otentikbagi guru biologi SMA/MA dan mendeskripsikan validitas, kelayakanisi, keterbacaan dan implementasi buku tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R &D). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Pecangaandan SMA Negeri 1 Jepara dengan 5 orang guru biologi yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013 sebagai responden. Buku panduan divalidasi oleh 2 ahli (ahli media danahlimateri). Data diambil menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Buku panduan yang disusun oleh Direktorat Pembinaan SMA (2013) disusun untuk guru secara umum dan guru biologi pada kenyataannya mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun instrument dan rubric untuk pembelajaran biologi dengan tepat. Guru  biologi membutuhkan buku panduan asesmen otentik yang khusus untuk biologi agar  dapat menerapkan asesmen otentik sesuai dengan pembelajaran biologi dan tujuan pendidikan sains. Buku panduan asesmen otentik yang dikembangkan diklasifikasikan ‘sangat valid’, ditinjau dari segi media (95,875%) dan materi (95,31%). Buku panduan tersebut juga diklasifikasikan ‘sangal layak’ ditinjau dari kelayakanisi (95,31%) dantingkat keterbacaannya ‘tinggi’ (79,2%) oleh guru biologi. Keterterapan buku panduan tersebut diklasifikasikan dalam criteria baik. Meskipun demikian, guru biologi belum bias melaksanakan asesmen, utamanya asesmen afektif dan psikomotorik karena berbagai kendala.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The authentic assessment guidebook  compiled by Direktorat Pembinaan SMA showed ‘less appropriate’. This study  was aimed  at   developing an authentic assessment guidebook  for senior high school biology teachers and   describing its validity, worthiness, legibility, and implementation.  This study was Research and Development modified from Borg & Gall (2003). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pecangaan and SMA Negeri 1 Jepara, with  5  biology teachers that applied the Curriculum of 2013 as respondents. The Guidebook was validated by experts on media and subject matters. Data were collected by interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. The guidebook was compiled  for teachers in general and biology teachers in particular who had  difficulty in preparing  instruments and rubrics for biology appropriately. Biology teachers need authentic assessment guidebook  specifically for biology to apply authentic assessment appropriate for biology learning and science education goals. The guidebook was  classified  ‘very valid’ in term of both the media (96,875%) and materials (95,31). The guidebook was also classified ‘very appropriate’ (95,31%) and  high level of legibility  (79,2%) by  biology teachers. Implementation of authentic assessment guidebook  was  under good criteria. However, biology teachers was unable to apply authentic assessment mainly  on affective and psychomotor aspects effectively because of   various constraints. .

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengembangkan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS di SMP Negeri 5 Semarang, (2) mengetahui kelayakan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS berdasarkan standar penilaian buku teks BSNP, (3) menguji keefektifan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) mengetahui keterterapan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Hasil validasi pakar menunjukkan kelayakan modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 81,93% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,896 sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol Sedangkan hasil tanggapan guru memperoleh presentase sebesar 84% dan hasil tanggapan siswa memperoleh presentase sebesar 90,59% yang keduanya termasuk dalam kriteria sangat dapat diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS terdiri dari bagian pendahuluan, bagian isi, dan bagian penutup, (2) modul sangat layak berdasarkan standar penilaian buku teks BSNP, (3) modul dapat efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) modul sangat dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran  This research is aimed to: (1) develop an ecosystem module with SETS approach in SMP Negeri 5 Semarang, (2) identify the feasibility of ecosystem module with SETS approach based on assessment standard textbooks of BSNP, (3) test the effectiveness of the ecosystem module with SETS approach toward student learning outcomes, and (4) identify the application of ecosystem module with SETS approach to learning. This study is a Research and Development with the design of pre-test post-test control group design. The results demonstrate the feasibility of expert validation modules developed to obtain an average of 81.93% with a very decent criteria. Results obtained t test of 3.896 so that it can be stated that there are significant differences between the experimental class and control class, while the results of the responses of teachers to obtain a percentage of 84% and the responses of students to obtain a percentage of 90.59% which are both included in the criteria so can be applied. Based on the results of this study concluded that: (1) the module material ecosystem with SETS approach consists of the introduction, part of the contents, and the concluding part, (2) the module very feasible based on the assessment standard textbooks of BSNP, (3) the modules can effectively improve learning outcomes students, and (4) modules can be applied in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan menganalisis efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL pada materi virus untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan dua uji coba lapangan yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Bandar. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 10 siswa di kelas X MIA 1 dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan pada 32 siswa di kelas X MIA 4. Uji coba pemakaian perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design. Hasil validasi ahli sebesar 89,57% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba produk sebesar 92,45% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 0,58 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pre-test dan post-test dengan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 81,25%, rata-rata persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai 74,9% dengan rata-rata skor N-gain sebesar 0,63 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kriteria sedang, dan rata-rata sikap ilmiah siswa mencapai 83%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL layak dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran materi virus untuk siswa SMA.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims is to analyze the feasibility of PBL-based learning tools and to analyze The effectiveness of PBL-based learning tools on virus concept to train students critical thinking skills. The research plan is research and development (R&D), and it was held with two field tests at Senior High School 1 Bandar. Product trials was done by 10 students in X MIA class and trial usage was done by 32 students in X MIA 4 class. PBL-based learning tools trial usage was using one group pre-test and post-test design. The specialist validation result was 89,57% with a very feasible criteria. Product trial outcome result was 92,45% with a very good criteria. The average of 0,58 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of learning outcome from pre-test and post-test with medium criteria. The average of students classical completeness was 81,25%, the average percentage of students critical thinking skills was 74,9% with the average of 0,63 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of critical thinking with medium criteria, and the average of students science attitude was 83%. It can be conclude that the development of PBL-based learning tools were feasible and effective in learning outcome, critical thinking skills, and students science attitude in learning of the virus concept for Senior High School students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel dan menguji pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan produk dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang. Uji skala terbatas dilakukan di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang dan uji skala luas dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Semarang pada semester genap 2013/2014. Uji pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan only post test control group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan kelas XI MIA 2 dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan kelas XI MIA 10. Data hasil belajar berupa skor post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran memperoleh skor sangat layak; skor kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran adalah layak; dan skor keterlaksanaan model yaitu sedang. Uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung > ttabel). Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel yang dikembangkan layak dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.  This study aimed to develop model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article and  examine the effect of it on student learning achievement. The process of product development was conducted at Departement of Biologycal Science, Semarang State University. The trials of small-scale products was carried out in SMA Teuku Umar Semarang and the trials of large-scale products was carried out in SMA Negeri 1 Semarang at second semester 2013/2014. The testing effect model of teaching on learning achievement used only post test control group design. Sample was taken with convenience sampling technique, whereas control class used XI MIA 2 and eksperiment class used XI MIA 10. The data about learning achievement are form score of post test. The result showed that models of teaching get score of advisability are very feasible; score advisability of teaching device are feasible; and score sustainability of teaching model are middle. T-test showed that there are significant difference between eksperiment class with control class (thitung > ttabel). Based on the result of research and development, it could be concluded that model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article developed feasible and have effect significant it on learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan pendidikan dalam KTSP meliputi tujuan pendidikan nasional serta kesesuaian dengan kekhasan, kondisi dan potensi daerah, satuan pendidikan dan peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pembelajaran dan wawancara dengan guru biologi, ditemukan bahwa untuk mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran di MAN 2 Pekalongan dibutuhkan bahan ajar yang dirancang dengan memperhatikan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa serta sesuai ciri khas sekolah yang bernuansa religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan tentang pendekatan sistem instruksional Prosedur penelitian mencakup lima tahap utama pengembangan desain instruksional yakni analisis, desain,  pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Produk hasil penelitian dan pengembangan berupa bahan ajar Orientasi Tafakur Ayat Kauniyah (OTAK). Bahan ajar OTAK telah divalidasi dan memperoleh kategori layak. Bahan ajar OTAKdiimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran materi pencemaran lingkungan di MAN 2 Pekalongan dan menunjukkan hasilbelajar optimal pada ranah kognitif, efektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap implementasi bahan ajar OTAK di MAN 2 Pekalongan.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Aim of education in KTSP cover of riceal education also adaptation with specialness, condition and potency area, unit of education and also educate. Abstract

Abstrak __________________________________________________________________________________ Standar Proses meliputi perencanaan proses pembelajaran, pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, dan penilaian proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Standar Penilaian meliputi penilaian otentik yang mengukur ranah kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan secara berimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan guru Biologi kelas X di SMA Negeri se Kabupaten Semarang dalam implementasi Standar Proses dan Standar Penilaian Kurikulum 2013. Berdasarkan observasi awal ditemukan fakta bahwa Guru Biologi Kelas X mengalami hambatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kualitatif dimana objek dan sumber data yang dipelajari diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Biologi kelas X, aktivitas yang diamati adalah proses pembelajaran, dokumen Silabus dan RPP digunakan sebagai data pelengkap. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis dekskriptif presentase digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil kuesioner, data hasil wawancara dan observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif, data hasil dokumentasi sebagai data pelengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran umum hambatan guru Biologi kelas X dalam perencanaan proses pembelajaran rata-rata sebesar 24,09% termasuk dalam kategori hambatan rendah, dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran rata-rata sebesar 22,92% termasuk dalam kategori hambatan rendah, dan dalam penilaian proses dan hasil pembelajaran rata-rata sebesar 22,25% termasuk dalam kategori hambatan rendah. This researh go in a certain direction to find out the obstruction of Standar Proses and Standar Penilaian Kurikulum 2013 implementation for the ten grade Biology Teacher’s in state senior high school on entire Semarang regency. Be based on the beginning observation there is a fact that the ten grade Biology Teacher’s in state senior high school on entire Semarang regency have an obstruction. This is a Qualitative Research and the purposive sampling technique is use to take the object and the data resoure. The respondent on this research are the ten grade Biology Teacher’s, the activity observed is learning process, and the document of syllabus and the teacher’s learning implementation plan use as a data complement. The data accumulation methods is questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis method is the descriptic analysis with percentage methods for analyzing the questionnaire data output. The interview and the observation data output analyzed by qualitative method, and the documentation data output as a complement. The result indicate the general representation of the ten grade senior high school Biology Teacher’s obstruction  on the learning procces plan in 24,09% average that include in low obstruction category, on the learning procces implementation in 22,92% average that include in low obstruction category, and then on the learning proccess and output evaluation in 22,25% that include in low obstruction category. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komputer semakin pesat, hal ini mendorong para guru untuk lebih memilih media yang berhubungan dengan komputer. Pembelajaran Biologi menggunakan media Scratch belum banyak dilakukan, karena program Scratch termasuk program baru yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan dalam dunia pendidikan. Media Interaktif Berbasis Scratch (MIBS) Materi Sel merupakan media yang dibuat menggunakan program Scratch dengan pokok bahasan materi sel. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari Media Interaktif Berbasis Scratch dalam pembelajaran materi sel pada siswa di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2014-2015. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 kali pertemuan. Setiap pertemuan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Media Interaktif Berbasis Scratch. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan pola pre-test and post-test one group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) motivasi belajar siswa masuk kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi; (b) aktivitas siswa masuk kategori aktif dan sangat aktif; (c) peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan nilai N gain masuk kategori sedang dan tinggi; serta (d) 90% siswa mencapai nilai KKM. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif berbasis scratch efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi sel pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Teuku Umar Semarang.   Development of computer technology Increasing rapidly, it encourages teachers to prefer computer-related media. Biology lesson using Scratch media has not been done, because the Scratch program including a new program that has not been widely utilized in education. Interactive Media Scratch Based (MIBS) Cell Materials are media created using Scratch program on the subject of cell material. The aim in this research was to determine the effectiveness of Interactive Media Scratch Based in cell materials learning to students in Teuku Umar Semarang Senior High School. This research was conducted in Teuku Umar Semarang Senior High School in odd semester 2014-2015academic year. Research subjects in this research were students of XI class in Teuku Umar Semarang Senior High School. The research was conducted during three meetings. Each meeting is done by using Interactive Media Scratch Based. The research design used is pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test one group design patterns. The results showed that: (a) the student motivation in the high and very high category; (b) the activity of students in the active and very active category; (c) improvement of learning outcomes based on the value of N gain in the medium and high category; and (d) 90 % of students reaching the KKM. Conclusions of this research shows that Interactive Media Scratch Based effective used in cell material learning in XI class Teuku Umar Semarang Senior High School.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh games education (GE) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true - eksperimental design tipe randomized subject posttest – only control group design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 38 Semarang. Sampel  penelitian  diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu mengambil dua kelas secara acak dari populasi yang homogen. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh games education (GE)pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dianalisis perbedaan reratanya menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan, apabila ada perbedaan rerata aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukan adanya pengaruh games education (GE) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The study aims to determine the effect of games education (GE) on the activity and student learning outcomes in the human circulatory system material. This research is true - the type of randomized experimental design subject posttest - only control group design with the entire population of eighth grade students Junior High School 38 Semarang. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique that is taking two classes at random from a homogeneous population. Selected sample is class VIIIB as experimental class and class VIIIA as a control class. The independent variable in this study is the influence of games education (GE) in the matter of the human circulatory system, while the dependent variable is the activity and student learning outcomes. Value activities and student learning outcomes mean differences were analyzed using t-test. Based on the indicators of success, if there are differences in mean activity and student learning outcomes between experimental class and control class games shows the influence of education (GE) to the activity and student learning outcomes.The results showed that the activities and learning outcomes in experimental class is higher than the control class.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran kontekstual model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan terhadap di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental design, dengan populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 8 kelas yang berjumlah 280 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan metode purposif sampling (2 kelas yang diajar oleh guru yang sama),  yaitu kelas VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kontekstual dengan model Numbered Heads Together(NHT) pada materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa (posttest). Nilaiposttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dianalisis perbedaan rerata dengan menggunakan uji t, dilanjutkan uji n-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa secara individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajarankontekstual model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to determine student learning outcomes cotextual learning with Numbered Heads Together model in the chemical material in life in junior high schoole 1 Ungaran. This researc is a quasi experimental design, the population is all students in grade 8 that consist of 8 class. Sample taken by purposif sampling (2 class that teach bay same teacher), there are VIII H as experiment class and VIII F as control. Independet variabel in this research is contextual learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model in the chemical material in life, while the dependent variabel is the student learning outcomes. Experiment and control class posttest value then analize by t test to knows the diferences, continued by gain test to determined increased of student undertstanding individually. The result showed that the experimental class student learning outcomes is higher than control class
