Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan mengungkap fakta-fakta penyebab miskonsepsi pada materi sistem regulasi siswa kelas XI SMA Kota Semarang. Studi kasus dilakukan di 6 SMA Kota Semarang yang dipilih untuk mendapatkan data hasil tes identifikasi miskonsepsi materi sistem regulasi dengan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi materi sistem regulasi dengan kategori sedang (47,51%). Rata-rata siswa SMA kelompok atas, tengah, dan bawah mengalami miskonsepsi yang tinggi pada konsep fungsi sistem saraf, aplikasi sistem indera, dan fungsi sistem hormon. Penyebab miskonsepsi tersebut antara lain strategi pembelajaran guru kurang bermakna bagi siswa, sumber belajar yang kurang valid, dan cara belajar yang cenderung menghafal. This study was aimed to know the profile and explore he root of misconception at regulation system topic of grade XI students in Semarang. Case-study was done on 6 selected High Schools in Semarang to get the misconception test result on regulation systems topic by Certainty of Response Index (CRI) methods. Data was analyzed by qualitative methods. The findings showed that student had misconception at regulation system topic on medium category (47,51%). Students on the top, middle, and below group had misconception on the concept of nervous system function, the application of five senses systems, and the function of hormonal systems. The misconceptions was caused by less meaningful learning, less valid of learning resources, and the method of study which tended to use memorizing.

Abstract

  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to analyze application learning with compost processing practical in environmental management subject to increase environmental careness characters and learning outcomes of seventh grade student in Junior High School 1 Ungaran.This study is a Pre Experimental Design. The study design uses the one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is every seventh grade students of Junior High School 1 Ungaran. The sample is students of class VII D and VII H.The results show that after learning 90% students have achieved very good and good criteria or increase 34% than before (56%). Learning outcomes of all students is completed with classical completeness 100%. t value in the t test is 8.597 in  VII D and 8.054 in VII H whereas for the t table is 1.69. This result show that t count > t table so learning effect to learning outcome. The analysis shows 94.44% of students in class VII D and 86.11% of students in class VII H give very good response about the learning. All science teachers in the both class give a positive response,  that the learning has been running very well. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of learning with composting processing practical affect in increasing the environmental careness characters and student learning outcomes in environmental management subject.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos dalam meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII D dan VII H. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa memiliki karakter peduli lingkungan pada kriteria sangat baik dan baik atau naik 34% dari sebelumnya 56%. Hasil belajar semua siswa tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Hasil uji t dari nilai pretest dan nilai posttest, didapatkan t hitung pada kelas VII D adalah 8,597 dan di kelas VII H adalah 8,054 sedangkan untuk t tabel adalah 1,69. Maka t hitung > t tabel maka ada pengaruh dari pembelajaran. Tanggapan siswa menunjukkan 94,44% siswa di Kelas VII D dan 86,11% di kelas VII H menyatakan pembelajaran sangat baik.   Semua guru IPA di kedua kelas memberi tanggapan positif dan menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the test items quality of Regency Biology Olympiad for SMA 2013 in Pacitan, Ponorogo, and Trenggalek regency. The quantitative data are difficulty level, discrimination index, distractor effectiveness, validity and reliability of test items. The qualitative data includes the appropriate test items viewed from the material, construction, and language. The research result shows that 32,5% items test have good quality quantitatively and qualitatively, 8% items test have good qualitity quantitatively but not qualitatively, 23,3% item test have good quality qualitatively but not quantitatively and 63,8 items test not good.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas butir soal olimpiade biologi SMA tingkat kabupaten tahun 2013 di kabupaten Pacitan, Ponorogo dan Trenggalek. Data kuantitatif berupa tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, efektivitas distraktor, validitas dan reliabilitas soal. Data kualitatif penelitian berupa kesesuaian soal dari segi materi, konstruksi dan bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 32,5% soal sudah berkualitas baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif, 8% soal baik secara kuantitatif tetapi tidak baik secara kualitatif, 23,3% soal baik secara kualitatif tetapi tidak baik secara kuantitatif dan 63,8% soal masih jelek.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah menekankan pembelajaran yang merujuk pada hukum Islam. Kenyataan di lapangan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum bernuansa islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bahan ajar yang selama ini digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi, mengetahui perlunya pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, serta menguji kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penilaian ahli media, ahli materi biologi dan ahli materi agama menunjukkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia sangat layak, dengan nilai kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 97,08%; 91,78% dan 97,2%. Tanggapan siswa pada uji coba buku saku sebesar 98,75%.  Tanggapan guru terhadap buku saku mencapai 100%.  Persentase penanaman pendidikan karakter  berkisar antara 90,6-91,04. N-Gain dari kedua sekolah mencapai 0,7. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa berkisar antara 89,7%-92%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia layak dan efektif sebagai bahan ajar. Islamic senior high school emphasizes learning that refer to Islam. The reality in field of  learning material used yet nuanced islamic.The purposes of  this research are to identify the material of study that we used in biology, to know how important the develop of pocket book islamic nuanced,  to description  the characteristic to develop pocket book islamic nuanced, and to know feasibility and effectivity of  pocket book islamic nuanced. This research design was Research and Development (R & D). The results assessment of media specialist, materials biology specialist and  materials religion specialist showed that a pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system was well worth  the feasibility percentage, respectively for 97,08%; 91,78% and 97,2%. The response of students  on product trial was 98,75%. The response of  teacher on product trial was 100%. The Percentage of cultivation character education on product trial was 90,6-91,04%. N-gain from both schools reached 0,7. Student classical learning completeness obtained 89,7-92%. Based on that research, we can conclude that pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system are feasible an effective for use as a learning materials

Abstract

Invitation into inquiry-based lab work is necessary to study its effectiveness on students critical thinking skills because similar studies have not been done primarily on the cell material. Learning begins by giving a problem to students who are prepared in the form of another question asked students to design practice. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of practice-based inquiry into invitation to high school students critical thinking skills N 1 Dukun on the cell material. This study was Quasi Experimental with Control Group Design Nonequivalent design is applied to the class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 3 as controls. Sampling was purposive sample was determined by the technique. N-gain test results show that the average N-gain critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class higher than the control class. In the experimental class average N-gain 0.46, while the control class is 0.32. The results of the t-test showed that the value of P = 0.485 for 2-tailed test, so it can be said that there is a difference in students critical thinking skills class experiments with the control class. Conclusions from this research is practice-based inquiry into the invitation-effective in improving students critical thinking skills. Praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry perlu diteliti efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa karena belum pernah dilakukan penelitian sejenis terutama pada materi sel. Pembelajaran dimulai dengan memberikan suatu permasalahan kepada siswa yang disusun dalam bentuk pertanyaan selanjutnya siswa diajak untuk merancang praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA N 1 Dukun pada materi sel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang diterapkan pada kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sample. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Pada kelas ekperimen rata-rata N-gain 0,46 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 0,32. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai P = 0,485 untuk uji 2-sisi, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

 Video can be use as biology learning material supplement for animal classification that have an unprecise concept. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of animal classification video as biology learning material supplement for SMP. The study is Research and Development (R&D), the steps are potency and problem identification, data collection, product design (video), video evaluation and revision, limited trial and revision, wide-scale trial and revision, final production. In limited trial using VII D class which amounts to 30 students and wide-scale trial using VII A and VII E class which amounts 60 students. The datas of this study are determined from the evaluation of video by medium and material validator, teacher and students responses, and student learning outcomes. Video evaluation by medium and material validator gets average score 93,75% (very good). Students give positive responses, it shows by 86,7% of students give very good responses and 5% of students give good responses. Teacher also give positive response about video using in learning. Student’s completeness learning outcomes with the score ≥82 in VII A class reached 86,67% and 90% in VII E class. The conclusion of this study are animal classification video is developed with some steps and it suitable to be used as biology learning material supplement for SMP.Video pembelajaran dapat digunakan sebagai suplemen bahan ajar biologi materi klasifikasi hewan yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kelayakan video pembelajaran materi klasifikasi hewan sebagai suplemen bahan ajar biologi SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang melalui tahapan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk (video), validasi video dan revisi, uji coba awal dan revisi, uji coba pemakaian dan revisi, produksi final. Uji coba awal dilakukan pada 30 orang siswa kelas VII D dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan pada 30 siswa kelas VII A dan 30 siswa kelas VII E. Data yang diperoleh berupa penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media, tanggapan guru dan siswa, serta hasil belajar siswa. Penilaian video pembelajaran oleh ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 93,75% (sangat baik). Siswa memberikan tanggapan positif, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan 86,7% siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik dan 5% memberikan tanggapan baik. Guru juga memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan video dalam pembelajaran.  Ketuntasan hasil belajar pada kelas VII A mencapai 86,67% dan pada kelas VII E mencapai 90%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah video pembelajaran materi klasifikasi hewan dikembangkan melalui beberapa tahapan dan layak digunakan sebagai suplemen bahan ajar biologi SMP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan JAS dengan sumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di MA Al Asror Gunungpati. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XA (kelas kontrol) dan XB (kelas eksperimen). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan >75% aktivitas belajar siswa masuk kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif. Secara kognitif, rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai 96,4% sedangkan kelas kontrol 60,7%. Berdasarkan analisis data aspek psikomotorik, kelas eksperimen mendapatkan hasil lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol, yaitu 100% siswa masuk kriteria A. Pada aspek afektif di kelas eksperimen 85,7% siswa masuk kriteria sangat baik, dan sisanya pada kriteria baik. Hasil analisis uji n-gain aktivitas dan semua hasil belajar kelas eksperimen memperoleh rerata lebih tinggi. Hasil rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 98,3% siswa mengatakan terlaksana (kinerja guru sangat baik). Secara umum guru dan siswa juga memberikan tanggapan sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan JAS bersumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar materi Keanekaragaman hayati siswa kelas X MA Al Asror Gunungpati. The study aimed to find out the students’ activities and results in learning using JAS approach. The resources were Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes. The material learned was Biodiversity in MA Al Asror Gunungpati. This study was done by a quasi-experimental design. The sample used was XA class (control group) and XB (experimental group).The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that >75% of student learning activities qualified as active and very active. Cognitively, the average completeness study of the end of the experimental class students reached 96,4% while the control group was 60,7%. Based on data analysis of psychomotor aspect, the experimental class got better results than the control class, it was 100% of students in criteria of A. The affective aspects in the experimental class showed that 85.7% of students qualified as very good, and the others were in good criteria. The results of analysis of n-gain activity test and all the experimental class learning outcomes’ mean were higher than control class. Average results of feasibility study showed that 98,3% of students said that the learning was feasible (teachers performance was very good). In general, teachers and students also responded very well to the applied learning. The conclusion of the research results showed that learning with JAS approach which resources of Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes had a significant effect to the activities and results in Biodiversity concept to X graders of MA Al Asror Gunungpati.
