Abstract

Penerapan Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E Dipadu dengan Media Puzzle Education Pada Materi Sistem Gerak Manusia diharapkan mampu untuk mengatasi permasalahan hasil belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Learning Cycle 5E dipadu dengan media Puzzle Education pada materi Sistem Gerak Manusia di SMA N 1 Godong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan desain one shot case study. Populasi diambil dari peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Godong Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 4 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar peserta didik ranah kognitif dianalisis dengan metode tes, ranah afektif dan psikomotor dengan observasi dan tanggapan peserta didik dan guru menggunakan angket. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 75% siswa mencapai KKM pada hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Peserta didik yang mencapai KKM pada ranah kognitif sebesar 84,90% afektif 85,24% dan psikomotor 100%. Pada tanggapan peserta didik dan guru memperoleh tanggapan yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dipadu dengan media Puzzle Education pada materi Sistem Gerak Manusia efektif diterapkan di SMA N 1 Godong Application of 5E Learning Cycle Combined with Puzzle Education In Human skeletal Systems will be able to solve the low learning result of student problem. The purpose of this research was to analyse effectiveness of the application of  5E Learning Cycle combined with Puzzle Education on Human skeletal System at SMA N 1 Godong. The method  used  in  this  research  is  a  pre-experimental  design with  one  shot  case study. The population of  this  research used all  the grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Godong academic  year 2014/2015. Samples were grade XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 4 students collected by purposive sampling technique. The research data is cognitive learning outcomes was analyzed by test method, affective and psychomotor with observation, students and teachers response using a questionnaire. These data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that more than 75% of students achieve the KKM learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Students that achieve KKM on cognitive learning outcome amounted 84.90%, affective amounted 85.24%  and psychomotor amounted 100%. The students and teachers response got a good response. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the 5E Learning Cycle combined with Puzzle Education on Human skeletal System effectively implemented in SMA N 1 Godong.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the application method Example Non Example on the activity and student learning outcomes at the Animal Diversity material in SMP N 2 Tengaran. This true experimental research design uses random subject design test design (post-test only control design) with 2-class samples are class VII G as a control class and class VII I as a experiment class. The technique sampling used is a convinence sampling technique. The percentage activity of students in the experimental class and control classes were 91.66% and 60.03%. The percentage of students in the classical mastery in experimental classes and control classes were 75.00% and 18.75%. T-test was used to examine the difference average of the learning outcomes between control class and experimental class. The results of t-test obtained tcount=7,22>ttable=1,67 with α = 5% and df = 66, so the average student learning outcomes in experimental classes are better than the control class. Based on these results can be concluded that the application of methods Example Non Example at the Animal Diversity material effective to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in SMP N 2 Tengaran Semarang regency landmarks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan metode Example Non Example terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian true experimental design ini menggunakan desain random subject test design (post-test only control design) dengan 2 (dua) kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII G sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII I sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Convinience Sampling. Persentase aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 91,66% dan 60,03%. Persentase ketuntasan siswa secara klasikal pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 75,00% dan 18,75%. Uji-t digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 7,22>ttabel = 1,67 dengan α = 5% dan dk=66 sehingga rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Example Non Example efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hewan di SMP N 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran koperatif tipe Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem ekskresi. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman baru dalam hal belajar yang membuatnya aktif dan bekerjasama baik dengan kelompoknya serta meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi. Posttest-Only Control Design. Subyek yang diteliti yaitu peserta didik dengan variabel penelitian model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing untuk kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi sikap, keterampilan, kinerja guru, soal evaluasi akhir, lembar angket tanggapan peserta didik dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pengetahuan kelas eksperimen 3,09 sedangkan kelas kontrol 2,91. Berdasarkan hasil uji t pada hasil belajar pengetahuan kedua kelas diperoleh lower bernilai positif dan upper bernilai positif atau Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,010 <ɑ = 0,05 maka Ho ditolak atau H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar (aspek pengetahuan) yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The problem in this research is how the influence of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing the learning outcomes of students in the material excretory system. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the type of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing the learning outcomes of students in the material excretory system. The benefits to be gained from this research is the students gain new experience in terms of learning which make it active and engaged with the group as well as improving learning outcomes in learning biology. The methodology used in the study of the model Posttest-Only Control Design. The object under study is learners with learning model cooperative research variables of type Snowball Throwing for the experimental class. The research instrument used is the observation sheet attitudes, skills, teacher performance, evaluation test, sheet questionnaire responses of learners and teachers. The results showed that the experimental class knowledge learning outcomes 3.09 and 2.91 while the control class. Based on the results of the t test on the learning outcomes of both classroom knowledge obtained lower and upper positive value is positive or Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,010 <ɑ = 0.05 then Ho is rejected or accepted H1, so the conclusion is that there are differences in learning outcomes (knowledge aspects) significant between the experimental class and the control class

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan dan efektivitas modul sistem ekskresi berbasis inquiry, serta mengetahui karakter siswa SMA N 1 Tengaran. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan Pre Experimental Design dengan tipe One Shot Case Study. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 2 kelas XI MIPA yang ditentukan secara purpossive sampling. Hasil validasi akhir modul mencapai 96,54 % dalam kriteria sangat layak. Modul dinilai efektif karena hasil belajar siswa mencapai 88,34 % tuntas di atas KKM 75 dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 88,34 % masuk kriteria sangat aktif atau di atas standar yang ditetapkan yaitu 80 % siswa mencapai skor minimal dalam kriteriai aktif. Modul dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran karena hasil tanggapan siswa dan guru berturut-turut mencapai 96,48 % dan 87,5 % termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Karakter siswa SMA N 1 Tengaran mencapai 88,34% dalam kriteria sangat baik atau di atas standar yang ditetapkan yaitu 85 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah modul sistem ekskresi berbasis inquiry layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran materi Sistem Ekskresi di SMA sekaligus dapat mengetahui karakter siswa. This research aimed to test the feasibility and effectiveness of Excretion System Module Based Inquiry at senior high school 1 Tengaran, and know the character of the students. Pre Experimental Design-One Shot Case Study was used in this research. The research sample consisted of two classes XI MIPA determined purposive sampling. Results of the final validation of the module reached to 96.54% in very decent criteria. The module is considered effective because student learning outcomes reached 88.34% completed over 75 KKM and student activity reached 88.34% qualify as highly active. Modules can be applied in learning as a result of student feedback and teacher respectively reached 96.48% and 87.5% included in the criteria very good. The character of the student reached 88.34% in the criteria very well. The conclusion of this research is Excretion System Module Based Inquiry feasible and effectively applied in learning materials of Excretion System and also to know the character of the students.

Abstract

Abstract ______________________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of teaching materials dealing with ecosystem by using the Vee Heuristik with SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Revise). This study is a form of quasi experimental with nonequivalen control group design. Sample of this study is chosen based on teacher’s recommendation. The collected data in this study are in the form of students’ activities  taken by using observation. The result of the study is taken by using test. Teacher’s activities are taken through observation. Students’ opinions are collected through questionnaire and the teacher’s opinions are collected through interview. The result of the study shows that the experimental class belongs to active class. Whereas the control class belongs to active class and medium active class. The average of N-gain of the experimental class and the control class is concluded into medium criteria. The mean of N-gain of experimental class is  0,51 which is higher than controll class having the average of N-Gain 0,36. The result of t-test shows that the learning result of experimental class is difficult as the control class .Based on the study, it can be concluded that ecosystem learning used the Vee Heuristic with SQ3R effective in State Junior High School 2 Batang.Abstrak __________________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran materi ekosistem mengggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan nonequivalen control group design. Sampel penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan rekomendasi dari guru. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berupa data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yang diambil dengan metode observasi, hasil belajar diambil dengan metode tes, kinerja guru dengan observasi, tanggapan siswa dengan angket dan tanggapan guru dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas kelas eksperimen dalam kriteria aktif sedangkan kelas kontrol termasuk dalam kriteria aktif dan cukup aktif. Rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,51 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 0,36. Hasil uji t menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran materi ekosistem menggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R efektif diterapkan di SMP Negeri 2 Batang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh kelas VIII. Kelas VIII E sebagai eksperimen dan VIII D kontrol ditentukan dengan random sampling. Data berupa perbedaan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji-t, peningkatan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji N-gain, aktivitas dan tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen > kontrol yaitu 85,94 > 72,47. Uji-t hasil belajar siswa thitung = 6,065 > ttabel = 2,00. Uji N-gain menunjukan jumlah siswa kelas eksperimen yang peningkatan hasil belajarnya sedang dan tinggi yaitu 56,25% + 43,75% = 100%, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 68,75%. Jumlah siswa aktif kelas eksperimen > kontrol yaitu 92,19% > 77,34%. Tanggapan semua siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. This research aimed to find the implementation of bioedutainment strategy assisted by biodomino card and student worksheets was able to improve learning outcome of plant tissue structure and function material in SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. Research applied in pretest-posttest control group design. The population was VIII grade students, VIII E as experiment class and VIII D as control class which were determined by random sampling. Data of differences students’ learning outcome analyzed using t-test, improvement of learning outcome were analyzed using N-gain test, activity and student response were analyzed by descriptive quantitative technique. The result of the research showed that learning outcome average of experiment class students > control class, which was 85.94 > 72.47. The t-test result was tcalculated = 6,065 > ttable = 2,00. N-gain test showed the students experiment class that learning outcome improvement were as high as 56,25% + 43,75% = 100% control class while only 68.75%. Active student in experiment class was more than in control class, which was 92.19% > 77.34%. All experiment class students give their respons toward the learning strategy using bioedutainment assisted by biodomino card and students’ worksheets well. The resume of this study is implementation of bioedutainment strategy assisted by biodomino card and student worksheets were able to improve learning outcome of plant tissues structure and function material in SMP 1 Madukara Banjarnegara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design dengan menggunakan pola non randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII C (kelas kontrol). Data keterlaksanaan model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram diperoleh melalui angket tanggapan yang diisi oleh siswa. Data hasil belajar dalam ranah kognitif siswa dikumpulkan dari tes materi sistem pencernaan, ranah psikomotorik dan ranah afektif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket skala psikologi siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai χ2= 32,00 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) dan pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh χ2= 20,67 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar.   This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram on students’s motivation and learning achievement on the subject of digestive system. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of this research was non randomized control group pretest posttest. The population in this research was all students, VIII grade class at SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, VIII B grade class was treated as experimental class and VIII C as control class. Questionare was used to collect data of  the implementation level guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram. Test was used to collect data of students learning achivement on cognitive, psychomotoric domains while affective domains were  collected by observation. Psychology scale was used to collect data of students motivation. The hypothesis result of the influence of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward upon students learning motivation was χ2= 32,00 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) and the influence guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward students learning achievement was χ2= 20,67 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). The model guided inquiry with fishbone diagram toward had significant effect upon students’ learning motivation and achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan pembelajaran yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, presentasi dan pembuatan laporan proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di SMP N 2 Ambal Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Control Group Pretest –Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII yang diajar oleh guru IPA yang sama. kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran ceramah dengan metode  diskusi dan VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Variabel bebasyaitu model pembelajaran berbasis proyek materi  sistem pencernaan manusia dan variabel terikat hasil belajar siswa.Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji Gain dengan kriteria sedang-tinggi pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 86,67% sedangkan kelas kontrol 62,50%. Uji t menunjukkan t-hitung 2,87 >t-tabel 2,00  artinyapeningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia  mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Project based learning model was constituted by planning, implementation, presentation, and project report steps. The aim of this study was  to find out the increasing of student’s learning score after  applying the project based learning model to teaching  the human digestion system for  second grade students at  SMP Negeri 2 Ambal Kebumen. This study used control group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was the second grades students taught by the same teacher. E class was the control group which was taught  by using discussion method. Besides, F class was the experimental group which was taught  by using project based learning model. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling technique. Independent variable was the project based learning methods whereas dependent variable was the student’s learning scores. The data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative description. This study indicated that Gain-test with sufficient-high criteria of the experimental group achieved was  86, 67% ; whereas, the control group was 62, 50%. The T-test indicated t-measured was  2,87> and t-table 2,00. It could be understood that the score of th experimental group was higher than that of  the control  group. Based on this study, it could be concluded that applying the project based learning model to teaching  the human digestion system learning materials  could  increase student’s learning scores.

Abstract

Abstract Availability of various learning materials will increase student’s knowledge. Reality in field still limited of learning materials is used in learning process. The aim of this research is to determine global warming pocketbook  which is appropriate to be used as learning materials in Junior High School, and to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness global warming pocketbook to be developed. This research design was Research and Development (R & D). The results assessment of media specialist and materials specialist showed that a global warming pocketbook was well worth the feasibility percentage, respectively for 96,4% and 93,3%. The response percentage of students on product trial was >50%. Student classical learning completeness obtained ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). The response percentage of teacher was >50%. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that global warming pocketbook which is appropriate with necessary of students and teacher is full colour and picture, consists of many exercises and information supported materials. A global warming pocketbook to be developed is feasible and effective for use as a learning materials in learning process. Abstrak Ketersediaan bahan ajar yang bervariasi akan meningkatkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh siswa. Kenyataan di lapangan masih terbatasnya bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP, serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 96,4% dan 93,3%. Persentase tanggapan siswa pada uji coba produk mencapai >50%. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa mencapai ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). Persentase tanggapan guru mencapai >50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru adalah buku saku yang penuh warna dan gambar, serta berisi banyak latihan soal dan informasi pendukung materi. Buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran. Â
