Abstract

Investment Feasibility for Reconstruction of Fishing Vessels at PT Perikanan Nusantara Ltd, Benoa Branch, Bali Province In this researchwas conducted to determines the feasibility of investing in reconstruction of a fishing vessel owned by PT Perikanan Nusantara Ltd, Branch of Benoa based on financial and non-financial aspects. Analyzing the financial aspects was assessed to be able to calculate revenue, costs, profits and financial parameters NPV, IRR, Net B / C, Payback Period, and sensitivity analysis. Other objectives, namely the assessment of non-financial aspects that are processed to be able to find out the investment feasibility of the market aspects, management aspects, technical aspects, environmental aspects, legal aspects and socio-economic aspects. The results of this research are NPV value isRp 4.791.713.354, IRR>13% is 90,8%, Net BC is 7 with a payback period of 1,14 year. Sensitivity analysis was carried out to determine changes in NPV values ??against increases in cash outflows and decreases in cash inflows. In addition to the assessment of non-financial aspects, non-financial aspects of the market, management aspects, technical aspects, environmental aspects, legal aspects and socio-economic aspects. From all aspects examined in this survey, a decision was made that this investment was declared feasible to run and suggested to continue investment activities.

Abstract

Kuta Mimba KSU is aimed at people from three regions both bound by adat, dinas, and migrants. The problems that occurred regarding the performance of employees at Kuta Mimba KSU were a concern in this study. Because employee performance is very important in order to support and create cooperative progress. Factors in work discipline, motivation as a factor which is assumedto determine employee work performance at Kuta Mimba KSU. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivational factors on employee performance at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative and to determine the effect of work discipline factors on employee performance at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative. This research took place at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative, hereinafter referred to as KSU Kuta. The population in this study was 90 employees of Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative, Kuta, Badung and the number of respondents used was 90 people using the census method. Data analysis used Mann Whitney non parametric test. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that there was a significant effect between motivation and work discipline on employee performance, and U value in Mann Whitney non parametric test. There was a partial positive and significant influence between motivation on employee performance at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative, and there was a partial positive and significant influence between work discipline on employee performance at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative and there was a simultaneous positive and significant influence between motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative. The management in the Kuta Mimba Multipurpose Cooperative should further improve the quality of employee motivation and discipline, because employee motivation and discipline would affect employee performance and pay attention to work discipline given to employees so that work discipline looks fair to all employees, because work discipline affects employee performance.

Abstract

Farmer’s Perceptions of the Establishment of Subak Anggabaya as Subak Lestari in Denpasar City Subak Lestari is an area developed in the city of Denpasar as a leading sector of the Denpasar Agriculture Office. One of the subaks developed is Subak Anggabaya, which makes efforts and action plans in preserving subaks. The establishment of sustainable subak in the city of Denpasar is made possible due to supervision and guidance provided, because it can support the increase in rice productivity for farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions and expectations of farmers after the establishment of Subak Anggabaya as a sustainable subak in the city of Denpasar. The sampling was 41 respondents using simple random sampling method. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative by using a Likert Scale.The results showed that the perceptions of Subak Anggabaya farmers regarding the establishment of sustainable subak belonged to high category (80,31%). This was supported by the results achieved, shown by three aspects, namely the technical aspects which were also of high category (78,78%), the socio-cultural aspects belonged to high category as well (83,25%), and so were the economic aspects (78,90%). The conclusion of this study is that the perception of Subak Anggabaya farmers as sustainable subak in Denpasar City was very good. Suggestions that can be made for the government as the leading sector of the Department of Agriculture in the City of Denpasar is that it should socialize the sustainable subak programs intensively, and should guarantee the risk of crop failure for farmers.

Abstract

Partnership Pattern Between Taman Ayu Agrotourism and Luwak Coffee Farmers Taman Ayu Agro Tourism is a company engaged in the production of bali coffee, ginseng coffee, luwak coffee.Due to the large demand for Luwak coffee, Taman Ayu Agro Tourism has developed a partnership with Luwak coffee farmers in Batukaang Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. This study aims to: (1) know the Partnership Patterns between Taman Ayu Agrowisata and Luwak coffee farmers, (2) know the Effectiveness and Benefits of the partnership between Taman Ayu Agro Tourism and Luwak coffee farmers, (3) know whether the Partnership Pattern increasedfarmers income. Research location was Batukaang VillageBatukaang Village. Data collection is carried out from February to April 2019. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the partnership pattern applied by Taman Ayu Agro Tourism with Luwak coffee was a sub contract. (2) Effectiveness of Cooperation between Taman Ayu Agro Tourism has fulfilled the effectiveness criteria taht was above 80%. The benefits was received by both parties for their business. (3) the income of partner coffee farmers was IDR 26.088.605 per year while non-partner farmers IDRwas16.234.000 per year. Income of partner coffee farmers per musang luwak (paradoxurushermaphroditus) per year was IDR 3.178.810 and non-partners was IDR 1.863.852.

Abstract

Benefits of Rice Farming Insurance in Overcoming the Risk of Subak Member Farming in Penebel District, Tabanan Regency The AUTP (Rice Farming Insurance) program is one of the government's efforts to protect farmers from losses through financial risk mitigation. Subak members’ decision in Penebel Subdistrict to register as an AUTP participant from 2016 to 2018 indicated that farmers felt the benefits of the AUTP program. This study aimed to analyze the extent of the benefits of AUTP in overcoming the risks of subak member farming and find out the response of subak member farmers to AUTP in Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. The study was conducted on Subak Keloncing, Subak Penatahan, and Subak Buruan with a sample of 65 farmers who received claimfunds. The data were analyzed employingquantitative and qualitative-descriptiveanalysis. The results showed that the percentage ratio of claims funds with production costs per 0.1517 ha amounted to 124.18% or more than 100%, meaning that the claim fundsfrom AUTP were able to overcome losses caused by pests, diseases, and drought. Whereas the farmers' response to the AUTP program measured through the attitude approach generally showed agreement but there were some farmers who argued that it was necessary to evaluate the AUTP program, especially in the claim submission mechanism. Based on the results of the study, it can be suggested to subak that the AUTP program needs to be developed and implemented. To the government, it is recommended that improvements to the implementation of AUTP be implemented, namely the damage below 75% can continue to follow the AUTP program with the amount of premiums and claims that are adjusted to the level of damage.

Abstract

Agro Tourism Promotion Mix Strategies of Bagus Agro Pelaga in Pelaga Village, Petang Sub-District of Badung Regency Bagus Agro Pelaga is an agrotourism in North Badung. This agrotourism developed with the concept of Tri Hita Karana. This research was conducted with the aim to find out internal and external factors of Bagus Agro Pelaga. Determine alternative strategies and priority strategies for Bagus Agro Pelaga. The research methods used to achieve these objectives, namely descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis and QSPM. This study uses informants selected through the purposive sampling method with applicable terms and conditions. The resulting strategic priorities for Bagus Agro Pelaga include implementing cooperation with the local government, local communities, travel agents and sister partnerships. In addition, Bagus Agro Pelaga can also carry out market diversification by highlighting on-farm, off-farm and out-farm activities.

Abstract

The Effect of Marketing Mix on Consumer Decisions to Buy Green Products in Ubud Organic Market, Ubud Sub-District, Gianyar Regency. Public awareness about health and the environment has led to increased market demand for green products. Ubud Organic Market is a market that provides a variety of green products to meet market demand for green products. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix on consumer decisions to buy green products and the most dominant variable in influencing consumers to buy green products in the Ubud Organic Market. The sampling technique was conducted by using purposive sampling with 42 respondents. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS analysis with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program.The results of this study indicate that product and price variables respectively have a positive and significant effect onpurchasing decisions of green products, while place and promotion variables have a positive but not significant effect onpurchasing decisions of green products. Product variable has a dominant influence on consumers' decision to buy green products. Ubud Organic Market organizer advised to improved product quality sold. Management of similar green market needs to be considered because it can answer consumers desire to shop more than once at Ubud Organic Market. Promotion can be done in new ways to help spread information about the market.

Abstract

Snake Fruit Farmers' Income and Welfare in Dukuh Lestari Farmer Groups in Sibetan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency This study aimed to determine the level of income and welfare of salak farmers in Dukuh Lestari Farmer Groups using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. The data collection was done through interview and literature study methods. The selection of the number of sample was determined by taking the entire population of Dukuh Lestari Farmers group totaled 39 people. The variables in this study were income, farm R/C Ratio value and welfare level with indicators used were income, expenditure and consumption patterns, health, education, employment, and housing. The results of this study were that the average income of the salak farming cash costs was Rp. 24,315,224.34 / ha / year with an R / C ratio of 5.08 and the income on the total costs of salak farming was Rp. 22,221,705.07 / ha / year with an R / C ratio of 3.76. The results for the welfare level of salak farmers was in the quite prosperous category with an achievement score of 55.63 percent. Based on the overall results of the study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to increase the income of salak farming for the welfare of Dukuh Lestari Farmer Groups, it can be suggested that they should increase farm income, provide facilities in the form of production facilities and other necessary agribusiness development facilities such as market information, increasing market access, capital, and the development of partnership with other business institutions.

Abstract

The Correlation between Farmers' Knowledge and Attitudes with the Application of Organic Fertilizer in Coffee Farming at Subak-abian of Wanasari Kenjung , Catur Village, Kintamani Sub-District, Bangli Regency The use of organic fertilizers on many farms has a positive impact, including on coffee farming. Knowledge, attitudes, and application of farmers about good organic fertilizer is the key to the success of coffee farming.This study aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes of farmers and application and their relationship in the use of organic fertilizers in coffee plants in the Subak-abian of Wanasari Kenjung of Catur Village, Kintamani Sub-District, Bangli Regency. Sampling was carried out by Simple Random Sampling method. Data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis and Spearman Rank correlation analysis.Descriptive analysis results show that farmers' knowledge of organic fertilizer is in the good category with a total score of 1,252, while the attitude of farmers is in the category of strongly agreeing with a total score of 1,667, and the application of farmers is in the quite good category with a total score of 876. The results of Spearman Rank correlation analysis show there is a strong relationship between knowledge and attitude with a correlation value of 0.556 **. Knowledge and application also have a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.528 **. There is no relationship between attitude and application with the resulting correlation value of 0,315 with a significant value of 0,062> 0,05.

Abstract

Characteristics of Citrus Farmers and Agro-Tourism Contribution in Enhancing Farmers’ Income in Karo District Agro-tourism is one of the tourism activities that utilize the potential of agriculture as tourist attractions such as natural scenery or agricultural production activities. U-pick is an agro-tourism concept that adopts by the citrus farmers in Karo district. The visitors will get the experience to pick the fruit by themselves. On the other hand, Farmers can sell their fruits at a higher price than sold to local agents. The purpose of this research is to ascertain the characteristics of farmers who implement agro-tourism concepts and analyze the contribution of agro-tourism to the citrus farmers’ income. This research used descriptive and economic analysis methods. The results show that the farmers were in productive age with a good education. This business is a family scale, the farmer experienced in farming but relatively new in implementing the agro-tourism concept. The location of the farm is on the roadside so it is accessible by the tourist. The U-pick concept gives a positive effect on the revenue and income of the farmers. The contribution of this concept to the total income of citrus farmers is 29,92%.
