One of the arts that is very full of Islamic nuance with the Kikim Tribe is the art of “Arakan” or "Ngarak" (parade) or better known as the Kikim bridal parade. The problem raised in this study aims to analyze the music of the Kikim bridal parade as a cultural expression of the Kikim Tribe in Lahat Regency. This research used a qualitative method with a case study research design. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews and document studies. The results showed that the Arakan which was staged in Kikim District, Padang Bindu Village, was a form of cultural expression for the Kikim community living in Lahat Regency. The performance is often staged for accompanying the bride and groom from Kikim Tribe In the organological framework, Ngarak or Arakan music consists of compositions of poetry (vocals), tambourines (rhythm), tambourines/terbangan genjring (rhythm), and gongs (rhythm). Meanwhile, if they are classified based on the characteristics of instruments used, they fall into the category of percussion instruments. The songs in Arakan use sholawat and berzanji lyrics (prays and praises for Prophet Muhammad SAW) and they are performed by dancers (as well as vocals). Therefore, the role of vocals in Arakan is to play the melody of the song sung by the dancers to clarify the meaning of the song through poetry in addition to providing an element of aesthetic variation.

The domination process in education often positions educators as the subject and learners as an object. It means that it negates the active awareness of the learners. In addition, the raising of political policies that are rooted in the positivism philosophy causes the education praxis is only oriented on the intellectual intelligence development of the learners, and it ignores the learners' existence as an individual who has another potential, such as emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions. Therefore, the approach of liberation education proposed by Paulo Freire becomes a relevant attractiveness to be implemented in education as education is a liberation and independence process for humans' awareness to determine their intention towards the world reality, particularly on the art learning aspects. It is supported as art learning needs the liberating education through the problem-solving approach and action and reflection implemented through praxis, namely the unity of intention, words, and works during the songwriting learning in PKNM Omah Dongeng Marwah (ODM) Kudus. This research used the qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collections techniques used in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document studies. The result of the research shows that the music learning model in PKBM-ODM runs freely, which means that the facilitators trust the learners to make their curriculum achievement. Then, the workshop presentation is dialogic learning done by the learners and the facilitators to find solutions regarding the problems they face related to songwriting learning. The last activity discussed is the workshop of hearing to do critical reflection for the learners and facilitators for always being creative and critical individuals.

In general, the culture in Indonesia has existed for a long time, and it is carried out from generation to generation through the process of cultural inheritance. One of the diversity of Indonesian culture is the batik art culture that has been attached to the Indonesian people, especially the Javanese people. In the city of Pekalongan, the batik industry is growing rapidly, and the batik artworks are much in demand by the wider community. As a city located on the northern coast of Java, Pekalongan batik has experienced many cultural influences from outside, thus enriching the ornaments of Pekalongan batik itself. One of the places in Pekalongan that are already known as a village for batik artisans is Kampung Batik Pesindon. Its fame as a village for batik artisans has even been known outside Pekalongan. Kampung Batik Pesindon, which is dominated by the home batik industry, continues to survive in the midst of urban development and modernization. The existence of a batik home industry in the Kampung Batik Pesindon area has survived, and it has been passed down from generation to generation until it became the forerunner to the formation of Kampung Batik Pesindon itself. The formation of the Kampung Batik Pesindon is one of the efforts to continue to maintain the batik culture, which is closely related to the life of the people of Kampung Batik Pesindon.
