Abstract

The study is based on the phenomenon on the ground when researchers conducted a preliminary study at the time of PPL in SMA 3 Semarang, which shows that the relatively high level of academic procrastination. The purpose of this study is to predict the positive influence between students perceptions about the mastery of content services to academic procrastination . This type of research is ex-post facto study. The study population was all students SMA 3 Semarang totaling 1008 students and the sample totaled 204 students use simpe random sampling by a draw. Data collection method used is a psychological scale and questionnaire questionnaire. The instrument has been tested for use in research the validity of the formula used by the Pearson product moment and reliability of the instrument with Alpha formula. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed a 43% positive influence on students perceptions about the mastery of content services to academic procrastination. Conclusions from this research that there is a positive influence on students perceptions about the mastery of content services to academic procrastination.

Abstract

Researchers saw indications of a behavior that they can not concentrate in learning, especially some students who get the process of service delivery of guidance and conseling or in following subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the service of content mastery with mind mapping method is effective to improve students learning concentration. This type of research is pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this study is the whole populations of VIII-J while the method of data collection used a scale of learning concentrations psychology with using data analysis of t-test. The level of students’learning concentration before service delivery was gained an average of 56% (medium) and after delivering of services it rose to 68% (average) after delivering services the students’learning concentration increased to 12%. The result of T test showed that the t value  = 4.97 with t = 2.04, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted. Research shows that services of content mastery with mind mapping method is effective to improve students learning concentration. The suggestion which can be given is guidance and counseling teachers should be able to socialize the skills of giving the service of content mastery to increase the students’learning concentration, especially with mind mapping method.

Abstract

This research based the phenomenon that is obtained from result DCM class V students SD N 4 Ketro Karnagrayung Grobogan that point out study habit problem as big as 31% by criterions D. The purpose for this research was to get information about influence mastery of content service with technique symbolic modelling to study habit. It population is high class students of the SD N 4 Ketro Karnagrayung Grobogan and the sampel of class V was selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using study habit questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used that is analysis descriptive percentage and t-test. The result of this research point out there was increase of study habit after be given conduct as mastery of content service with technique symbolic modelling as big as  8,91%. Based result t-test  score tcount = 12,59 > ttable = 2,048 or meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, result of this research is mastery of content service with technique symbolic modelling can be influence study habit. Therefore, It is hoped that the teacher as a guide can be more motivate and help student to increase study habit.

Abstract

Attachment theory adolescents and parents can be a shield for adolescents to avoid delinquency, so this study wanted to know what type of attachment that occurs between adolescents and parents. In line with the objectives of this study to describe the style attachment adolescents and parents in general, views on gender and parental education on students of SMP Negeri 1 Nguter Sukoharjo. The attachment scale given to 227 students and 9 respondents to be interviewed. Data were analysis using quantitative analysis includes a percentage descriptive and qualitative analysis of interviews. Found that the arising attachment style is  a secure, refuse and preoccupied attachment style. Attachment theory is more secure and reject male dominated and preoccupied by women. Secure attachment is dominated by the college for dad and junior to the mother. Attachment theory rejects both dominated high school and attachment style preoccupied by fathers education primary schools and colleges for the mother. Implications of the application of guidance and counseling, guidance and counseling teachers can collaborate with parents and teachers of other subjects to improve discussion and appreciation to students.

Abstract

The purpose from this research is to see the effectiveness of group guidance service within increase child self esteem at Yayasan Setara, Semarang. This type of research is experimental research with pre experimental design with a kind of one group pre test and post test design. Subject of this research is 5 grade student of PL Servatius Elementary School. Collecting data technique in this research using a psychological scale and collecting data tool using likert scale with 42 number of declaration point that has been tested before. Data analysis methods is using with wilcoxon test. Research has done to see self esteem before group guidance with film media given show that self esteem criteria in middle level (67,91%). Child self esteem after group guidance with film media given counted to high criteria (80,43%). Self esteem increased 12,52% after group guidance with film media given. Highest increase occurred in self improvement indicator with 16% percentage. Lowest increase indicator with 10,67% is self adjustment indicator. Wilcoxon test result tcount= 55 and ttable= 8, tcount> ttable, so Ho rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

This research is conducted based on the phenomenon found in the interview with counseling teacher of Senior High School in Grobogan. It showed that the case relate with the use of gadget. The objective of the research is to find out the use of gadget by senior high school students based on the benefit and time. This research is survey research. High school students in Grobogan are the population of the research  with 138 samples. Sampling two stage cluster proportional random sampling is the technique used in this research. The method used to collect the data is by using questionnaire and analysed by percentage descriptive technique. The result showed that 66,04% are positive in using gadget, the frequency of using/benefits of gadget in the questionnaire answer showed 65,84% of positive criteria. The frequency of using gadget based on the time using showed 90,02% of positive criteria. Overall, based on the result it also can be stated that the high school students in Grobogan use the gadget wisely and well.

Abstract

Conflict is usual had experienced by somebody. Somebody is as social people in interact with other will have a conflict. If conflict hadn’t overcame with appropriate strategy, it will give bad impact. This study purposed to know effect of group guidance services by problem solving technique for increatment the conflict manajement strategy. This study is experimental study. This study was conducted at Student Sains Group in 11 SHS of Semarang State with ten students as the sample. The data were collected by conflict manajement stategy scale. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage analysis and wilcoxon match pairs analysis. The result of descriptive percentage showed that conflict manajement of student before students are given group guidance services by game technique is in the average high category (74%) and after obtaining group guidance services by problem solving technique have an average in the high category (85%). Based on the wilcoxon match pairs test showed that tcount = 0 and ttable = 8, so tcount < ttable, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The result, showed group guidance services with problem solving technique have a effect for conflict manajement strategy. This study give important contribution in aplication of guidance dan counseling at school.

Abstract

Interest is an important factor of students  participating in individual counseling service. Student’s interest inparticipating in individual counseling service can be influenced by counseling basic skill are mastered counselor. The purpose of this research is to describes the relation between the counseling basic skills with the students participation interest in individual counseling service at SMA Negeri 1 Godong.The method used in this research is a quantitative correlation method. The population in this research were all students of SMA Negeri 1 Godong who attended individual counseling services, with total of 55 students. The sampling technique used is saturated Sampling. Method of data collection used is the scale of interest and scale student’s perception of counseling basic skill are mastered counselor. Data analysis used is percentage descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the counseling basic skills classified in the high category (75.49%) and the students interest of participating individual counseling service was high (79.31%). As well as there is a significant relationship between the counseling basic skills with the students interest of participating the individual counseling service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how much the level of students’ satisfaction in service towards specialization in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 and determine the service procedure towards specialization in the implementation of Curriculum 2013. The populations in this study were 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Muntilan, amounting to 250 students and a sample of 129 students were taken by using simple random sampling. Methods of data collecting used were psychological scale and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed the level of student satisfaction was the criterion quite satisfied with the score as much as 62%. In addition, placement process ofspecialization class did not cover the aspects towards specialization which should be the basis for the consideration of the direction of specialization. This indicated that the level of students’ satisfaction was not maximal yet, seen from the figure of 62% which meant that it only belonged to quite satisfied category. And it was still going on inaccuracies in the procedures of service implementation towards specialization.

Abstract

During adolescence many formed groups of peers as personal and social adjusment container teenagers, one of which is gangs. The existence of gangs can provide a positive and negative impact. It depends on the emotional intelligence of students have gang members. The purpose of this research is to describe emotional intelligence students of the gang of class XI-IIS.3 in SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang. The type research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this research were all students of class XI-IIS in SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive  sampling. Method of data collection used is the psychological scale. Data analysis used is percentage descriptive analysis. The results showed that the average emotional intelligence students of the gang classified in the medium category (65.87%). Based on the results of the research, the advice is for BK teachers, expected to provide services related to recognizing emotions, managing emotions, motivating oneself, recognizing emotions in others and build relationship. For example, through better information services so that students know and understand about recognizing emotions, managing emotions, motivating oneself, recognizing emotions in others and build relationship.
