Abstract

Prosocial behavior is the behavior of mutual help without expecting anything in return. There are students who already have prosocial behavior, but there are also students who lack prosocial behavior. The purpose of this research was to get information or empirical finding about effect of group guidance about prosocial behaviour the eight junior school of SMP Negeri 7 Semarang. This research is experimental research.The population was all student of the VIII class in SMP Negeri 7 Semarang. Purposive technique was used in this research, sample were 10 students. Data collection technique using prosocial scale. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage analysis and wilcoxon match pairs analysis.the result showed the prosocial behaviour of student before student are given group guidance service is in the average medium category (55,14%) and after obtaining group guidance service have an average in the high category (79,25%). Based on wilcoxon showed  Zacount0 and Ztable=8. The conclusion of this research  was guidance group service given positive effect to prosocial behavior student VIII class SMP Negeri 7 Semarang.

Abstract

This research is done because the phenomenon in Senior High School 1 Mijen-Demak. Based on the record of events, it’s found that students of XII class have not seen the emotional maturity and the decision making of career after graduation. The purpose of this research is to find out relation of the emotional maturity and the career decision making. This research is an ex post facto with the quantitative correlation method. The samples used in this research are 114 students. The data collection that is used the emotional maturity and career decision making scale. The data analysis that is used the descriptive percentage and product moment correlation. The research result shows that 99 of students have the high emotional maturity, 98 of the students have the high decision making of career skill, and the sig is 0,000=0%, less than α=5% with r=0,348. There is a significant relation between the emotional maturity and the decision making of career in the low level of relationship. So, it can be said that the Ho is rejected and the Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Final year students at the stage of development of early adulthood. One task at this stage is already to plan a career choice. But as student, completed the study is a phase that must be passed, wich was made reasearch that addresses the correlation between completed the study with a plan of career choice. This study aimed to determine the profile of motivation in completing the study and career  choice plan for students, then to determine the correlation between both of them. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative survey methods. The subjects of this research were all undergraduate students of Guidance and Counseling dept. Unnes class of 2010 related to career choice plan and motivation in completing the study. Data was collected using scales of career choice plan and scales of motivation in completing the study. Data were analyzed using percentages description and product moment method. The average result of motivation in completing the study was included in the high category (75,60%). While the profile of career choice plan in overall was included in the medium category (68,50%). The correlation experiment results between career choice plan and motivation in completing the study produced numbers r count = 0,656 > rtable = 0.3357. The importance is career choice plans correlate with motivation in completing the study on undergraduate students of Guidance and Counseling department of Semarang State University class of 2010

Abstract

This research was conducted based on phenomena that occur on guidance counseling teachers in vocational high school of Semarang. Implementation of consulting services guidance and counselling at the school in the execution  not as appropriate, where there are errors in execution of consulting services that lead to individual counseling services. The purpose of this research is finding empirical evidence regarding the implementation of consultancy services in the planning, implementation, evaluation,evaluation result analysis  and follow-up phases. Type of this research is descriptive research with survey method. The entire population is guidance counseling teachers vocational high school of Semarang with 49 samples using saturated sample. This research was conducted in vocational high school of Semarang with 49 counselor subject. Data collection method using question form. Analysis technique of data using descriptive percentage analysis.  This research results indicate that implementation consulting services on the planning phase 81,2%, execution phase 66,8%, evaluation phase 74,6%, evaluation result analysis phase 75,7% and follow up phase have 80,5%, and average 71,6%. That result indicates that the implementation of consulting services in vocational high school of Semarang has a good criteria.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the phenomenon of lack of altruism and Guidance Department Student Counseling Semarang State University. The purpose of this research is to know the level of altruism majors guidance and counselling as well as knowing the difference of altruism and guidance counseling majors force by 2013, 2014 and 2015. This type of research is a research survey. The population of this research is a student guidance and Counselling Department State University of Semarang force by 2013, 2014 and 2015. Data collection techniques in the study using a scale of altruism with the amount of 85 grain statement has been tested previously. Analytical techniques descriptive analyses data using anova test and one way. The results showed that levels of altruism and guidance counselling students force by 2013, 2014 and 2015 has a percentage of the average number of 80.08%. The data are tested a Variant result fcount = 0.538 and ftable = 0.625 then fcount < ftable. so Ho accepted and Ha was rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) an overview of personal qualities counselor, (2) a description of the interest of the students individual counseling services, and (3) the relationship between the counselors personal qualities and interests of students on individual counseling services. The population in this study was a counselor and student at SMK 1 Kedungwuni Kabupaten Pekalongan. Pengumpuan method of data using a personal quality scale counselor and scale of interest. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and analysis of product moment correlation. The analysis shows the level of personal qualities counselor in either category, the level of students interest towards individual counseling services in the high category, and there is a positive relationship between the counselors personal qualities and interests of students on individual counseling services.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze performance counselor at high schools 1 muntilan. The research is qualitative research with a case study. Research locations is high schools 1 muntilan. Technique data collection used is interview, observation, documentation. Technique data analysis use the model miles and huberman. Testing the validity of data using perseverance observation, member check, and triangulation. The research results show on the program planning bk is good , on the the implementation of the program bk be done in incidental so the implementation of less than optimal. The evaluation is good enough evidenced by evaluation report, and on the working mechanism is good administration a administration bk compiled very systematic and complete. So that it can be concluded that the state sma counselor at 1 muntilan less than maximum in implementation because they do not have hours class

Abstract

The purpose of this research find correlation democratic parenting and self-concept to the development of emotional intelligence of students , Population and sample of this research is class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bojong. The sampling technique using techniques Prabobility Sampling (Simple random sampling). The sample in this study is 72 students. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression using the Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS). The results showed an association of democratic parenting and self-concept to the development of emotional intelligence class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bojong. There is a democratic parenting style influences on the development of emotional intelligence to the effect of the partial value of 14.06%. There is the influence of self-concept on the development of emotional intelligence to the effect of the partial value of 23.32%. It showed no effect democratic parenting and self-concept to the development of emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the extent of the role of MGBK in support of the profession of guidance and counselling and profesional competence of counselor MGBK member’s. The type of in this research is a survey research. Population in this research is the entire BK teacher/counselors who are members of MGBK SMP Negeri Semarang who attended the activities of MGBK, while sampling used in this research is purposive sampling technique. Data collection method using question form is the role of MGBK and profesional competence, while testing the validity of the instrument using the formula product moment and reliability of instruments with the formula Alpha, data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis of percentage. Based on the  analysis results obtained average percentage of  the role MGBK SMP Negeri Semarang of 64% so entered in the criteria of "good enough", while the average percentage of the profesional competence of counselors of 69% so entered in the criteria of "good".

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the guidance group with a media career card game can have an effect on the attitudes of students career choice. This type of research uses experimental research design research with one group pre test and post test. The population in this research is the grade IX E SMP N 1 Ungaran which amounted to 35 students. The sampling technique using a purposive sampling, with a sample of 10 students. Data collection tools using interviews and career options attitude scale. Analytical techniques descriptive data using the wilcoxon test and the percentage of pairs match. Research results show that the attitude of students career choice before and after given the guidance group with media card game career experienced an increase of 11,82%. It indicates that the guidance group with a media career card game media effect on the attitude of students career choices.
