Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve memory, focus, and physical fitness of elementary school students in Bakalan Wringin Pitu Village. The background of the activity is the low physical activity of students and decreased concentration due to the dominance of passive activities such as the use of gadgets. The method used is the Asset Based Community Development approach with the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The activity was carried out through warm-ups, core movements, and cool-downs accompanied by music and structured movement repetition. The results showed an increase in student active participation, the ability to remember the sequence of movements, and concentration during the activity. In addition, there was an increase in physical fitness and gross motor skills. The interaction between students and teachers created a fun and collaborative learning atmosphere. This activity also contributed to character development such as discipline, self-confidence, and cooperation. Overall, the children's creative gymnastics program is effective as an innovative learning method that integrates cognitive, physical, and social aspects. This program has the potential to be implemented sustainably to support the quality of learning and optimal student health in the elementary school environment broadly and continuously for the overall development of students in the long term that is better and highly competitive in a productive and healthy future consistently and sustainably for all students who are actively involved

Abstract

Keterbatasan finansial dan minimnya fasilitas belajar di luar jam sekolah sering kali menjadi faktor utama pemicu ketertinggalan akademik serta kesenjangan akses pendidikan bagi anak-anak dari keluarga kurang mampu. Menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui lima tahapan sistematis (problem, root of the problem, solution, program, dan implementation), program pengabdian yang dikawal oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya ini bertujuan untuk memeratakan kesempatan belajar anak melalui penyelenggaraan bimbingan belajar gratis di Dusun Tambak Sari, Desa Tambak Rejo, Sidoarjo. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi partisipatif untuk memantau perubahan sikap dan pemahaman akademik peserta secara faktual. Sasaran program difokuskan pada siswa kelas 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan materi spesifik IPAS mengenai struktur bagian-bagian bunga, di mana mahasiswa KKN Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya bertindak sebagai pendamping utama dibantu oleh remaja setempat sebagai fasilitator. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep, kemandirian, kedisiplinan, serta keberanian siswa dalam proses instruksional. Pendampingan kelompok kecil ini efektif memitigasi hambatan les berbayar, meningkatkan kesiapan akademik anak, serta menumbuhkan kepedulian sosial terhadap urgensi pendidikan di tingkat basis warga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the important role of forensic accounting and investigative auditing in the prevention and detection of fraud within organizations. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review by examining various sources related to the concepts, functions, and applications of forensic accounting and investigative auditing. The results of the study indicate that forensic accounting plays a strategic role in the preventive aspect, such as identifying weaknesses in internal control systems, analyzing fraud risks, and detecting early indications of fraud. Meanwhile, investigative auditing plays a role in the repressive aspect through in-depth examination processes, collection of legally valid evidence, analysis of fraud patterns, and identification of perpetrators and their modus operandi. The synergy between forensic accounting and investigative auditing is proven to enhance the effectiveness of fraud detection systems, produce more accurate investigation processes, and enable comprehensive fraud disclosure. Furthermore, the implementation of these approaches contributes to improving organizational accountability and transparency. Therefore, the integration of forensic accounting and investigative auditing becomes an essential element in establishing good governance and minimizing fraudulent practices.
