Abstract

Adat Ipilah is a mandatory customary sanction given to women who are pregnant out of wedlock by the Dayak Ma'anyan tribe in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia as a form of sanction for social violations. Carried out on pregnant women in the first trimester, generally in the first pregnancy. Pregnant women will demonstrate in front of traditional and community elders. The implementation of Ipilah can be a stressor and affect the psychological health of pregnant women. The research was to explore the impact of the implementation of the Ipilah custom on the psychology of Dayak Ma'anyan women. Using qualitative methods with an interpretive phenomenology approach. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection by in-depth interviews. Analyzed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. Get 6 themes; Disappointed with adat, forced to follow Ipilah, afraid of the sanctions that will be received, ashamed to interact with the community, pressured because cannot forget Ipilah, helpless with the situation. Ipilah sanction was a traumatic experience that had a negative psychological impact. Ipilah is a source of stressors that affect the lives of women who experience it. Whether it's psychological or social relations in society.

Abstract

The vulnerable age of nutritional status are the children under five, then early detection and effective solution needed to decrease the risk of the problem on adult phase. The attitude of the mother were the identified factors that related with the nutritional status of child under five. These factor would involve the mother to support and promote the optimal nutritional status of their children. This research conducts to associate the attitude of the mother with the nutritional status in the Posyandu Kamboja RT 3; Posyandu Anggrek RT 9; Posyandu Kaca Piring RT 14, Puskesmas Alalak Selatan Banjarmasin. Quantitative research and cross sectional design used, sample with purposive sampling tehnique as much 97 respondents. Data collected used questionnaire, observation sheet, weight scale and microtoice. Analyse by Spearman Rank Correlation. Result: The attitude of the mother was positive (53,6%). Nutritional status of the children under five W/A was normal (63,6%), H/A normal (61,9%) and W/H normal (76,3%). There were significant correlation of the attitude of the mother with the nutritional status of children under five (ρ = 0,000).Keywords: attitude; nutritional status; mother; children under five.189

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Perempuan suku Dayak Ma’anyan terikat pada peraturan adat dalam perilaku sosialnya. Banyak aturan adat yang mengatur kehidupan perempuan pada suku tersebut. Contohnya seperti itampadi pada ibu postpartum dan adat Ipilah pada perempuan yang hamil di luar nikah. Aturan adat yang berlaku ini berpotensi menjadi sumber stressor pada kelompok perempuan tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, penyuluhan kesehatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada perempuan suku Dayak Ma’anyan terkait stres dan proses adaptasi serta manajemen stres dengan teknik thought stopping dan hipnotis lima jari. Penyuluhan ini menggunakan metode ceramah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terkait stres dan proses adaptasi, sementara untuk teknik manajemen stres menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Keberhasilan penyuluhan dilakukan dengan mengukur pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam meredemonstrasikan teknik thought stopping dan hipnotis lima jari. Pre-test dan post-test diberikan untuk mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan peserta dan observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui demonstrasi. Hasil penyuluhan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pada kategori cukup sebesar 18,75% dan peningkatan pengetahuan pada kategori baik sebesar 6,25%. Ditemukan pula fakta bahwa 12,5% peserta justru mengalami penurunan pengetahuan. Peserta juga belum mampu secara mandiri menerapkan teknik manajemen stres yang diajarkan. Akan tetapi, secara menyeluruh peserta penyuluhan mampu memahami dan mempraktikan teknik manajemen stres yang diajarkan. Untuk mengoptimalkan kebermanfaatan penyuluhan kesehatan, kedua teknik manajemen stres perlu diberikan dalam bentuk audio atau audio visual. Kata Kunci: hipnotis lima jari, teknik manajemen stres, thought stopping, Suku Dayak Ma’anyan [English]: Ma'anyan Dayak women are bound by customary rules in their social behavior. There were a number of customary rules that regulate the lives of women in the tribe, for example, Itampadi for postpartum mothers and Ipilah for women who get pregnant before marriage. This customary rule has the potential to be a source of stress for this group of women. Therefore, this health education aims to provide understanding to Ma'anyan Dayak women related to stress and the adaptation process as well as stress management with thought-stopping techniques and five-finger hypnosis. The method used in this program was lecturing to increase participants’ knowledge about stress and the adaptation process, while a demonstration was utilized for stress management. The effectiveness of the counseling is measured through the participants’ knowledge and ability to re-demonstrate the thought-stopping techniques and five-finger hypnosis. A pre-test and post-test were administered to examine the increase in the participants’ knowledge and observations were designed to evaluate the demonstrations. The results showed an increase in the participants’ knowledge in the sufficient category by 18.75% and an increase in knowledge in the good category by 6.25%. It was also found that 12.5% ??of the participants experienced a decrease in knowledge. The participants have not been able to independently apply the stress management techniques. However, overall, the participants were able to understand and practice the stress management techniques. To optimize the benefits of health education, stress management techniques need to be provided in audio or audio-visual forms. Abstract

It is important to improve the optimal utilization of posyandu services by mothers of children under five. An extensive health center in North Barito District, Central Kalimantan-Indonesia, revealed that the current utilization of Posyandu is only 43.91%, falling short of the Health Office's target of 80%. This study aims to identify the factors that influence mothers of young children to use Posyandu services. The research methodology involved a descriptive survey using a cross-sectional approach. It included a sample of 95 mothers of toddlers from all Posyandu in Muara Teweh Health Centre, selected using a disproportionate stratified random sampling method. The study utilized a questionnaire as the primary instrument, and the collected data was analyzed and presented as frequency distribution tables. The findings indicated that 62.11% of the 95 mothers had a good level of knowledge about posyandu for toddlers, 75.79% found the home distance and transportation to the posyandu affordable, 55.79% received family support to attend posyandu, and 69.74% acknowledged the active role played by cadres in facilitating posyandu. It is evident that continuous and organized support from all sectors is crucial to ensure optimal and increased utilization of posyandu.

Abstract

Perspektif masyarakat terhadap keberadaan ODGJ dipengaruhi nilai dan keyakinan budaya yang dimiliki, dan dapat memengaruhi kesiapan masyarakat menjalankan peran sosial sebagai sistem pendukung.  Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi perspektif masyarakat suku Banjar terhadap ODGJ menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tujuh informan, dipilih secara purposive sampling, dan dilakukan dalam bahasa daerah Banjar. Analisis data menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil temuan menunjukan perspektif masyarakat suku Banjar serupa dengan perspektif masyarakat  suku lain di Indonesia, yaitu ODGJ dipandang tidak terurus, berpenampilan kotor, penyebabnya dikaitkan dengan faktor spiritual dan supranatural, dianggap berbahaya dan tidak mampu bersosialisasi, serta kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap tanggung jawab rehabilitasi. Disarankan adanya program edukasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan komunitas dalam menghilangkan stigma, serta pendekatan budaya dalam asuhan keperawatan jiwa

Abstract

Abstract The chronic disease that the use of a mechanical ventilator can cause is pneumonia. Using a ventilator for a long time in the ICU is at risk of developing a nosocomial infection called ventilator-associated pneumonia. However, bundle care prevention strategies have proven to be highly effective in reducing the incidence of VAP. One of the factors in nurses' running bundle care is knowledge of VAP prevention strategies. This research aimed to describe and analyze the nursing team's knowledge of ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention strategies. This type of research was quantitative research with a descriptive method. The sample of this study consisted of nurses in the ICU room of Ulin Hospital, Banjarmasin, and 73 people were selected using the Total Sampling technique. Data collection will be done using a questionnaire, data analysis, and frequency distribution. This study showed that the level of knowledge of ICU nurses at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin regarding VAP prevention strategies was in a suitable category: 51 people (69.8%), moderate ten people (13.7%), and 12 people (16.5%) lacking. Nurses in the ICU room at Ulin Hospital, Banjarmasin, have varying levels of knowledge; namely, there is good knowledge, some are sufficient, and some are still lacking in understanding VAP prevention strategies.
