Abstract

Water pollution is a condition caused by the input of pollutant loads/waste wastes in the form of gases, dissolved materials, and particulates. Pollutants that enter water bodies can be carried out through the atmosphere, soil, runoff from agricultural land, domestic, urban, industrial waste, and others (Effendi, 2003). Pollution occurs when there are materials in the environment that cause unexpected changes, whether physical, chemical, or biological. The target that we will achieve related to the implementation of this community service is to provide knowledge for workers who work in the company about the importance of the dangers of water and waste pollution. In addition, the output of the results of this service will be made into articles to be published in community service journals, the application of controlling water and waste pollution in the workplace.

Abstract

Humans and natural resources cannot be separated because they are one unit. In Article 1 point 9 of Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, hereinafter referred to as UUPPLH explains that natural resources are elements of the environment consisting of biological and non-biological resources which as a whole form a unified ecosystem. The method used in the delivery of service material is a workshop (question and answer) delivery of material from tutors using a zoom meeting. The target that we will achieve related to the implementation of this community service is to increase public knowledge about environmental protection and management, so that people know and are able to actually apply environmental conservation actions in their daily lives. In addition, the output of the results of this service will be made into articles to be published in community service journals.

Abstract

Food sanitation is closely related to environmental sanitation where food products are stored, handled, produced or prepared. In the food industry, sanitation includes aseptic activities in the preparation, processing and packaging of food products, cleaning and sanitation of factories and the factory environment and worker health. Activities related to food products include quality control of raw materials, storage of raw materials, proper water supply equipment, prevention of food contamination at all stages during processing from personnel equipment, and against pests, as well as packaging and storage of the final product (Surono et al. , 2016). the conditions for implementing sanitary hygiene meet the requirements for food storage, food processing, food transportation and food storage. The level of knowledge of food handlers at PT WEIR MINERALS in food management is high regarding the quality of food that will be processed and served to workers.
