Abstract

Agricultural has a prominent role in maintaining the equilibrium of economic condition. Nevertheless, most people have a tendency that this agricultural sector is not prospective enough in improving their living standard, then they decide to be an employee which is already crowded. Thus, this study will discuss and learn about Lewis's model of two-sector economics regarding to reinterpretation of this condition. The purpose of this research is to formulate the right model in improving the standard of living of agricultural sector workers. In this study will use quantitative methods with descriptive analysis to develop the models offered by Lewis. The results obtained by minimizing the massive transformation of agricultural sector workers to industrial sector workers can reduce the inequality in terms of employment. Where agricultural sector workers can upgrade their skills with the help of government social programs, namely labor-intensive programs so that farmers can prosper without leaving their main professions to become farmers, so that the employment sector industry does not expand (especially in urban industries).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh work life balance terhadap burnout dan kepuasan kerja karyawan baik secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung yang dilaksanakan pada karyawan Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Area Makassar Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tujuan menjelaskan kedudukan variabel-variabel yang diteliti dan hubungan antara satu variabel dengan variabel yang lain. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian ini akan menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel-variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Dalam penelitian ini, metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan path analisi dengan menggunakan program SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa work life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap burnout, work life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, burnout berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, work life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan jika dimediasi oleh burnout.

Abstract

Keputusan pembelian konsumen merupakan tujuan dari perusahan dalam melakukan segala aktivitas usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk, harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Smartphone Samsung di Makassar baik secara langsung dan pengaruh secara tidak langsung yang dimediasi oleh citra merek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data primer yang didapatkan melalui metode penyebaran kuesioner di kota Makassar. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dapat diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat kualitas produk berpengaruh posisitf dan signifikan terhadap citra merek, harga berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap citra merek, promosi berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap citra merek, kualitas produk berpengaruh posisit tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, promosi berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, citra merek berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Adapun pengaruh tidak langsung atau mediasi dari citra merek menemukan bahwa kualitas produk, harga, dan citra merek berpengaruh masing-masing berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan jika dimediasi oleh citra merek.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Product Quality and Service Quality on Increasing Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty in Makassar Municipal Water Company (PDAM) both directly and through intervening variables or indirect effects. This study uses a quantitative approach conducted with the aim to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship between one variable with another variable. This research will explain the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. In this study, the analysis method used is path analysis using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study found that directly the product quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, product quality had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, service quality had a positive and not significant effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The indirect effect of this research is product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty if mediated by customer satisfaction. Service quality also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty if mediated by customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahasa mengenai pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko yang digunakan sebagai preferensi bagi masyarakat dalam berinvestasi pada perusahaan emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko yang signifikan terhadap minat investasi masyarakat pada Perusahaan Emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap minat investasi masyarakat pada Perusahaan Emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan dari variabel yang diteliti, dimana pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 55 orang karyawan dengan metode analisis regresi berganda bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu ketika semakin baik gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang diterapkan maka akan kinerja karyawan akan semakin meningkat sedangkan pemberian insentif terbukti tidak memberi dampak yang berarti terhadap upaya peningkatan kinerja karyawan PT. Berkat Sinar Sentosa Makassar. Adapun untuk pengaruh simultan dapat menjadi perhatian bagi pihak manajemen perusahaan karena ketika gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berupaya diterapkan dengan baik bersamaan dengan upaya peningkatan insentif akan memberi dampak terhadap meningkatnya kinerja karyawan. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of information asymmetry, earnings management, and firm size on the cost of equity capital. This type of research includes causal research using quantitative methods. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are 156 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by purposive sampling, so the total sample was 35 data from the financial statements of manufacturing companies. Secondary data was collected through the Indonesian stock exchange website and analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis with the Ordinary Least Square model using the Eviews Version 12 software. The results found that information asymmetry had a positive and significant effect on the cost of equity capital; Earnings management has a negative and significant effect on equity capital. At the same time, the company's size has no significant effect on the cost of equity capital.

Abstract

The most important aspect of being an employee of performance within an organization, because it is becoming one of the determining factors in the achievement of the vision and mission of the organization. This study aimed to examine the effect of work motivation, work environment, work discipline on employees’ performance. This research was conducted in SAMSAT Office of Makassar City for two months. The types of data were quantitative data and the sources of data were primary and secondary data. The populations were all employees of SAMSAT Office of Makassar City consisting of 75 people (the police and the civil officials 51 people, dispenda 21 people, and jasaharja 3 people). All populations were taken as samples (census sampling method). They were obtained through survey. They were analyzed using validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research indicate that work motivation, work environment, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. All researches hypotheses are accepted. This indicates that the increase of work motivation, work environment, and work discipline can improve employees’ performance.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mendiskusikan terkait kedudukan dan hukum bunga bank yang masih menjadi perdebatan apakah bunga bank bisa dikatakan halal atau tidak. Hal ini dapat terjadi dikarenakan adanya perbedaan sudut pandang, metode serta landasan epistimologi seseorang dalam memahami serta menganalisa suatu fenomena tertentu sehingga mengakibatkan hasil pemahaman yang beragam. Dengan demikian, artikel ini berupaya untuk mengkaji bunga bank dalam perspektif insider (yang mempunyai pandangan tradisional) akan tetapi juga akan mengkaji dalam perspektif outsider (yang mempunyai pandangan kontemporer) dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh kesimpulan yang objektif terkait bunga bank dalam studi IslamArtikel ini dianalisa menggunakan metode library research dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dimana penulis melakukan pengumpulan data pustaka, dokumen-dokumen tertulis yang berisikan pemahaman beserta keterangan mengenai persoalan yang sesuai dengan masalah dan tujuan penelitian. Adapun hasil analisa dari artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa bunga bank memiliki kesamaan dengan margin sehingga secara emic dan etik bunga bank dibolehkan dengan tetap memperhatikan batas yang telah ditentukan oleh regulator.

Abstract

Burnout is something that must be considered from crew members who have a high workload and maintain their performance. This study aims to analyze the burnout conditions of the crew of the Mutawa 303 while working on board the ship and find solutions so that performance can still be optimized. This research is a qualitative research that examines the conditions that occur in the field from information obtained based on interviews with the captain and crew to identify respondents' perceptions of workload conditions and work-life balance when sailing. The results showed that the burnout experienced by the crew of the Mutawa 303 was in the high category, but the crew tried to work professionally and maintain work-life conditions. balance by regularly communicating through meedia social with family and avoiding role conflicts when sailing which is prone to occur when the crew experiences burnout.
