Abstract

This study aims to develop a mechanical measurement practical worksheet integrated with Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and delivered through a Learning Management System (Google Classroom), as well as to examine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages, with PjBL principles embedded in the product design and learning activities. The participants were 35 tenth-grade vocational students (N=35). The results showed that the developed worksheet achieved a very high level of validity based on expert evaluations of media, content, and language, with an average score of 94.6%. In terms of practicality, teacher and student responses reached 92.72% and 93.18%, respectively, both categorized as “very good,” indicating that the worksheet is easy to use and supports flexible practical learning. Regarding effectiveness, students’ learning outcomes improved significantly, with mean scores increasing from 30.92 (pretest) to 86.00 (posttest) and an N-gain of 0.80 (high category). Hypothesis testing confirmed a significant difference (p < 0.05) before and after implementation. In conclusion, the PjBL-integrated mechanical measurement practical worksheet distributed through Google Classroom as an LMS is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Field Work Practice (PKL) experience on the formation of self-confidence and work readiness of vocational high school students through a quantitative approach with a survey method using a Likert scale instrument, and the results of statistical analysis show that PKL has a significant influence, especially through aspects of knowledge and skills acquired during industrial practice, while the self-confidence of grade XII students who have carried out industrial work practice (PKL) does not provide a significant contribution, so this study confirms that the effectiveness of PKL as a character builder and work readiness is highly dependent on the quality of the industrial environment, consistent guidance, and the suitability of the program to the needs of the ever-evolving world of work.

Abstract

The development of vocational education demands innovation that can effectively connect theory and practice. This study examines the implementation of the Honda Gamification Program in theoretical and practical learning at a Vocational High School majoring in Motorcycle Engineering. The method used was qualitative, with a literature review of various journals, books, and academic documents related to gamification, learning motivation, and student competency. The results showed that gamification, through the elements of points, levels, challenges, and rewards, increased student motivation, active participation, and skill mastery. The application of gamification also helped create a more challenging and enjoyable learning environment. These findings provide a basis for teachers and schools to integrate gamification into vocational learning strategies that align with industry needs.
