Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi pengembangan karir dengan adversity quotient pada mahasiswa kelas malam yang bekerja. Hipotesis penelitian yaitu ada hubungan antara motivasi pengembangan karir dengan adversity quotient pada mahasiswa kelas malam yang bekerja. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas malam yang kuliah sambil bekerja sebagai pegawai tetap, pendidikan terakhir D3/SMA, senin – jumat menjalani aktivitas kuliah sambil bekerja minimal 7 jam/hari. Populasi penelitian tidak diketahui jumlah pastinya sehingga peneliti menggunakan roscoe sebagai penentuan jumlah sampel. Motivasi pengembangan karir diukur dengan skala motivasi yang mengacu pada Siagian (2004) dan adversity quotient dari Stoltz (2004). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi. Hasil analisis korelasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,309. Ini menunjukan motivasi pengembangan karir memiliki hubungan yang sifatnya positif dengan adversity quotient. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. .

Abstract

Abstract: The banking industry is currently facing numerous challenges due to the high level of competition from modern digital products and increasing external environmental demands. In response, Regional Bank XY has made efforts to maintain strong competitiveness by restructuring its organization as part of its Human Resource Planning (HRP). Unfortunately, the implementation of HRP has not been optimal, as it was not supported by standardized calculations such as a Workload Mental Analysis. As a result, many employees have complained about an uneven distribution of workload across various divisions, ultimately affecting employee well-being. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative approach with a pragmatic paradigm and employs a case study method. Data collection techniques used to explore the issue include interviews, observations, and document analysis. Participants in this study were selected using a random sampling technique, consisting of 20 employees from 5 different divisions, and were assessed using the NASA-TLX workload analysis method. The results show that 11 respondents experienced mental overload, with a NASA-TLX score > 80, 8 respondents were in the Optimal Load category; and 1 respondent was classified as underload with a score < 50. Based on these findings, it is recommended that regular mental workload analyses be conducted, along with the establishment of programs to collect and address employee complaints related to workload in a more systematic and responsive manner.Keyword: Human Resources Management, Mental Workload Analysis; NASA-TLX methodAbstrak: Industri perbankan saat ini sedang dipenuhi dengan tantangan karena tingginya daya saing kompetitor dengan produk digital modern dan tututan lingkungan eskternal. Upaya Bank Daerah XY untuk tetap memiliki daya saing yang tinggi adalah dengan melakukan restrukturiasi organisasi sebagai bagian dari Perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia. Namun sayangnya pelaksanaan PSDM tersebut belum optimal karena tidak diiringi dengan perhitungan baku seperti Analisa Beban Kerja. Sehingga banyanya karyawan yang mengeluh adanya beban kerja yang tidak tersebar secara merata di berbagai divisi yang akhirnya mempengaruhi kesejahteraan karyawan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigm pragmatis, dan jenis kualitatif studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data untuk memperdalam permasalahan adalah wawancara, observasi, serta analisa dokumen. Partisipan pada penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling, terdiri dari 20 karyawan dari 5 divisi yang berbeda untuk dilakukan analisa beban kerja NASA-TLX. Hasilnya Terdapat 11 responden yang memiliki klasifikasi beban kerja mental overload dengan skor NASA-TLX >80, 8 responden di Optimal Load, dan 1 responden di klasifikasi underload dengan skor <50. Adapun Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah melakukan analisa beban kerja mental secara rutin dan membuat program untuk menampung keluhan karyawan terkait pekerjaan agar ditindak lebih lanjut.Kata kunci: Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia, Analisa Beban Kerja Mental, Metode NASA-TLX

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of work-life balance on work engagement among married female employees at Bank ABC Medan Branch. The population in this study consisted of 55 employees. Sampling in this study was conducted using total sampling technique, where the entire population became the sample. This study used a quantitative approach. The instruments used were validated and reliable work-life balance and work engagement questionnaires. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the impact of job stress and job satisfaction on psychological well-being among employees of private universities in Medan. The population in this study consisted of 3,000 employees of private universities in Medan. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, where the population was selected based on specific criteria and using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample size of 352 employees of PTS City of Medan. The study employed a quantitative approach. The instruments used were validated and reliable questionnaires on Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Psychological Well-Being. This study was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) There is an impact of Job Stress and Job Satisfaction on Psychological Well-Being with F calculated = 168.053 > F table value = 3.02 with a significance value of 0.000 (p< 0.05) (2) There is a negative and significant impact of Job Stress on Psychological Well-Being with a calculated T value of -4.071 > T table = 1.967, and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05) (3) There is a positive and significant impact of Job Satisfaction on Psychological Well-Being with a calculated T value of 3.982 > T table = 1.967, and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05).Keyword: Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, Psychological Well-BeingAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak Job Stress dan Job Satisfaction Terhadap Psychological Well-Being Pada Karyawan PTS Kota Medan. Abstract

AKHLAK values are crucial for every ASN to implement as a source of enthusiasm and guidance for workplace behavior. The BPOM is conducting routine assessments to measure the implementation of AKHLAK among employees and to determine its impact on daily work processes. However, the results show that it needs to improve its employees' adaptive behavior relative to other values in AKHLAK. Daily behaviors indicate that some employees still have difficulty adapting to rapidly changing work systems and to constantly changing policies. Employees sometimes feel surprised, afraid, and exhausted, and experience stress from having to adapt continuously. One of the strategies used by BPOM, in collaboration with Psychology at Sriwijaya University, is to provide psychoeducation on adaptability skills. The purpose is to help participants: (1) Identify what challenges, situations, and changes are being experienced and their solutions, (2) Increase awareness and willingness of employees to implement the solution for adaptive behavior in real life, (3) Identify their stress condition and help all employees manage stress effectively with coping stress. The community service method uses psychoeducation and an experiential learning approach with 45 employees. The evaluation used a pre-post test survey and an overall assessment on a 1-5 scale. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge of adaptive abilities, with scores rising by 20%-43%, and even participants strongly agreed that this agenda could have a significant impact on future work performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                Indonesia saat ini sudah menyadari bahwa pendidikan terkait kewirausahaan sejak dini bagi mahasiswa adalah hal yang sangat penting. Namun, di prodi ilmu tanah universitas sriwijaya didapatkan masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum termotivasi, merasa bingung untuk memulai, tidak tahu bagaimana cara membagi waktu antara kegiatan perkuliahan dengan berwirausaha dan merasa takut gagal. Padahal melalui kegiatan wirausaha, dapat membentuk kepribadian yang positif seperti kreatif, inovatif, inisiatif, mandiri, tekun, dapat memiliki kemampuan adaptasi yang baik dan dapat berpikir secara cepat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan kepada mahasiswa program studi ilmu tanah di Universitas Sriwijaya sebanyak kurang lebih 50 mahasiswa. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pentingnya berwirausaha, cara memulainya, serta meningkatkan keterampilan mengenali minat dan bakat diri sendiri (termasuk kelebihan dan kekurangan diri sendiri). Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dengan ceramah dan pendampingan secara partisipatif, dan evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui post-test dan pre-test. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 20% terkait pentingnya kewirausahaan, 40% peningkatan cara mulai melakukan kewirausahaan, peningkatan 40% cara mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan diri guna memilih bidang kewirausahaan yang akan ditekuni.Kata kunci: Penyuluhan Mahasiswa; Kewirausahaan; Kepribadian Positif; Kepribadian Proaktif. ABSTRAKDespite the national emphasis on early entrepreneurship education in Indonesia, Soil Science students at Universitas Sriwijaya frequently face barriers such as low motivation to do business, time management difficulties between academic’s activity with enterpreneurship, and fear of failure to do enterpreneurship. To address these challenges, this community service initiative aimed to 50 students at Soil Science students at Universitas Sriwijaya. The program focused to increase knowledge about the entrepreneurship importance, how to start being entrepreneurship, and self-identification of talent which help students to choose the business field. The methodology in this activity use presentation, participatory, and pre-test and post-test evaluations that demonstrated significant progress. Such as 20% increase in students' understanding of entrepreneurial importance and a 40% improvement in both business initiation knowledge and self-assessment capabilities (self strength and weaknenss). These results indicate that the program effectively empowered students to identify personal strengths and navigate potential entrepreneurial pathways. Keywords: Student Socialization; Entrepreneurship; Positive Personality; Proactive Personality.

Abstract

The success of an organization hinges on the importance of alocating the right resources to it. Organizations are expected to pay attention to the suitability between employees and their work through individual assessments with psychological examinations. In addition to looking at the suitability of employees' potential or competencies with the demands of their jobs, organizations should also measure the suitability of employees' career interests with the choice of employees' job aspirations using Holland's RIASEC test. The research in the form of the application of individual assessment of career development was carried out on subjects who felt bored or were not suitable for their current job. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study show that the potential or competence of the subject is in accordance with their work, so they are expected to be able to perform optimally at work. However, the subject's career interests do not match his career aspirations or the job he wants, so it is expected that individuals can develop their career interests in other activities, as well as the organization can take other development steps, such as work rotation.

Abstract

The Purpose of This study is to examine the validity and reliability of a work-life balance’s instrument among bank employees using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approach with SMART PLS. Work-life balance is important aspect in industrial and organizational psychology insasuch as it is associated with psychological well-being, work productivity, and quality of life for the employee. The high work demands in the banking sector make it necessary to measure work-life balance using a good quality of instruments. This research employed a quantitative approach involving 330 bank employees as research participants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted through outer model testing to evaluate construct validity and reliability. Convergent validity was assessed using loading factor values and Average Variance Extracted (AVE), while reliability was evaluated through Cronbach’s alpha and Composite Reliability values. The findings indicated that 16 out of 17 items were considered valid and reliable. Furthermore, all dimensions of the work-life balance construct adequately reflected the measured construct. These results indicate that the work-life balance instrument has satisfactory psychometric properties and is appropriate for use among bank employees. Highlights • Sixteen of seventeen items met the required psychometric criteria.• One PLIW item was removed due to low loading factor.• Composite Reliability and Cronbach’s Alpha confirmed strong internal consistency. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan sosial yang masih sering ditemukan di lingkungan sekolah dan dapat memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental maupun hubungan sosial siswa. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai bentuk, dampak, serta cara pencegahan bullying menyebabkan perilaku tersebut sering dianggap sebagai candaan biasa. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pencegahan bullying melalui kegiatan sosialisasi pada siswa SMA X di Kota Palembang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 05 Januari 2026 dengan melibatkan 200 siswa SMA kelas satu, dua dan tiga. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan dengan pendekatan ceramah interaktif, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan pemberian studi kasus. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada seluruh materi yang diberikan. Peningkatan tertinggi terdapat pada topik cara mencegah bullying sebesar 60%, diikuti jenis-jenis bullying sebesar 50%, serta dampak bullying dan faktor penyebab bullying masing-masing sebesar 40%. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung dan mulai memahami pentingnya empati, komunikasi positif, serta penghargaan terhadap perbedaan antar siswa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan sosialisasi pencegahan bullying dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan bebas dari perilaku bullying.Kata kunci: Bullying; Remaja; Sosialisasi Kesehatan Mental; Sekolah aman. ABSTRAKBullying is one of the social problems frequently found in school environments and may negatively affect students’ mental health and social relationships. The lack of students’ understanding regarding the forms, impacts, and prevention of bullying often causes such behavior to be perceived merely as joking behavior. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and awareness regarding bullying prevention through a socialization program for students at Senior High School X in Palembang City. The activity was conducted on January 5, 2026, involving 200 students from grades X to XII. The methods used included interactive lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and case studies. The activity stages consisted of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test methods to measure participants’ improvement in understanding. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding across all presented topics. The highest improvement was found in the topic of bullying prevention strategies (60%), followed by types of bullying (50%), and the impacts and causes of bullying (40% each). In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm throughout the activity and began to understand the importance of empathy, positive communication, and respect for differences among students. Thus, the bullying prevention socialization program was considered effective in increasing students’ awareness and understanding of the importance of creating a safe, comfortable, and bullying-free school environment.Keywords: Bullying; Adolescents; Socialization; Mental Health; Safe School.
