Abstract

Abstrak – Titik tolak penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara ilmiah tipologi keislaman jamaah Masjid Agung Al-Azhar (MAA), Jakarta, sebagai salah satu masjid besar bersejarah dan berpengaruh di Jakarta. Diharapkan, hasilnya dapat menggambarkan suatu tipologi keislaman yang berkembang di Jakarta, serta menjadi masukan bagi takmir MAA sendiri dalam meningkatkan kiprahnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan sejumlah temuan penting, di antaranya: (1) Keislaman jamaah MAA mencerminkan semangat kembali kepada ajaran Islam yang murni. (2) Tipologi-tipologi yang paling menonjol adalah Puritan Teologis, Islam Politik, dan Modernis Klasik. (3) Materi dakwah yang paling disukai, secara umum, adalah tafsir, aqidah dan fikih. Walaupun kemudian ditemukan sedikit perbedaan kajian yang paling disukai bila dilihat dari kelompok usia dan gender jamaah.  Abstarct- The main purpose of this research is to describe scientifically the Islamic typology of the worshipers of Masjid Agung Al-Azhar (MAA), Jakarta, as one of the major historical and influential mosques in Jakarta. The result is expected to describe some typologies of Islam those developed in Jakarta, as well as an input for takmir MAA in improving their work. The research summarizes a number of important findings: (1) The Islamic typology of MAA worshipers reflects the spirit “back to the pure Islam”. (2) The most prominent typologies of MAA worshipers are Theological Puritan, Political Islam, and Modernist Classics. (3) the most favored dakwah subjects, in general, are tafseer, aqeedah and fiqh. Abstract

Abstrak – Titik tolak penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri secara ilmiah motivasi berjilbab mahasiswi UAI –khususnya mereka yang berjilbab setelah masuk UAI, pengetahuan mereka tentang syariat jilbab, dan manfaat yang mereka peroleh. Diharapkan, hasilnya dapat membantu pimpinan dan segenap civitas akademika UAI, serta orang tua mahasiswi dalam membangun pendidikan karakter dan lingkungan keagamaan yang kondusif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan sejumlah temuan penting, di antaranya: (1) Para mahasiswi UAI yang berjilbab secara garis besar bisa dikategorikan ke dalam dua kelompok: konsisten dan inkonsisten. (2) Konsistensi mereka dalam berjilbab sangat dipengaruhi motivasi intrinsik yang kuat. (3) Mahasiswi UAI yng berjilbab mendapat dukungan dari keluarga, teman-teman kuliah, dan orang terdekatnya. Dan motivasi ekstrinsik ini sangat membantu dalam kasus di mana motivasi intrinsiknya tidak begitu kuat. Abstarct – The main purpose of this research is to explore scientifically the motivation behind wearing hijab among UAI students –particulary those who decide to wear hijab after entering the UAI, their syariah knowledge about the obligation of wearing hijab, and what the benefit is. The result is expected to help the leaders and academic community in the UAI, as well as parents in building character and strengthening religious environment. The study summarizes a number of important findings: (1) Basically, the UAI students can be categorized into two groups; consistent and inconsistent in wearing hijab. (2) Their consistency in wearing hijab briefly influenced by its strong intrinsic motivation. (3) Students who wear hijab get strong support from the family, friends, and people who close to them.  This extrinsic motivation can be very helpful where intrinsic motivation is not strong enough.

Abstract

Memotret realitas keislaman mahasiswa UAI secara akurat merupakan titik tolak dilakukannya penelitian ini. Diharapkan, potret tersebut bermanfaat dalam merumuskan model kebijakan, regulasi, dan pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman di kalangan mahasiswa UAI. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha mencover responden dalam prosentase yang relatif besar (sampai dengan 18% dari populasi) dari seluruh fakultas di UAI, dari angkatan 2008, 2009, dan 2010. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode proportional random sampling mengingat jumlah mahasiswa per fakultas yang tidak sama. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan sejumlah poin penting, di antaranya: (1) Realitas keislaman mahasiswa UAI secara umum tergolong sedang, (2) Ada kesenjangan antara aspek akidah, ibadah dan akhlak dalam keislaman mereka. Dalam hal akidah, mereka relatif baik. Namun terlihat penurunan dalam aspek ibadah dan akhlak, (3) Lingkungan tempat mereka tumbuh dan perhatian orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keislaman mereka.Abstract  The main purpose of this research is to capture the reality of UAI student Islamic life. Hopefully, the output of the research able to formulate regulation, policy, and relevan approaches in assisting Islamic values among UAI student effectively. Therefore, the research trying to cover huge presentage of respondents (reaching 18 percent out of all students) from all faculties in UAI. The respondent qustioned in this polling coming from periode of 2008, 2009 and 2010. This polling using proportional random sampling method, that is why the average of every faculty has different percentage. The research concludes some important points; including (1) Islamic life of UAI students relatively classified as moderate, (2) There is also gap among students in term of faith (creed), worship and morality. In term of faith, they are mainly good. But in term of worship and morality the result shows significant decrease, (3) The Background which they were growing up and the parental cares having great influences on how they hold Islamic values.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to study the role of field advisory lecturer (FAL) in encouraging the effectiveness of teaching assistance program (TAP). The research conducted by using descriptive qualitative method with 4 FALs who supervised 36 students throughout TAP batch 1 and batch 2 around Jakarta and Tangerang. The research finding shows that (1) FAL take important roles in TAP to coordinate planning, actuating, reporting with ministry of education, provincial education office, school and university to assure the positive impact for each side, and (2)TAP is one of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology policies to synergize between school and university to accelerate basic education quality which is need comprehensive policy dealing conversion within curriculum of each department and its program continuity. It suggest that TAP to be socialized each task among parties, considering curriculum each department for credit semester and assuring continuity of the programKeywords – Efektivitas, DPL, Program Kampus Mengajar, MBKM

Abstract

In Indonesia, da'wah in the political and cultural spheres is compared to siblings who have not spoken to one another in a long time, contradicting one another and even bringing one another down. Reconstruction of da'wah in Indonesia's political and cultural realms is an extremely interesting subject that has the potential to constantly evolve and present new breakthroughs. Legislation and public policy issues require these individuals to engage in the political process, whereas social-social issues typically require a cultural approach. The purpose of this study is to determine whether it is true that Islamic da'wah in the political and cultural realms cannot coexist, particularly in the Indonesian context, and whether it is possible to create synergy – even convergence – between political and cultural da'wah, as well as what compromises must be made with mainstream circles. Today, political and cultural da'wah circles exist in Indonesia. By utilizing a literature-based approach that incorporates both theory and expert opinion. Additionally, it is analyzed by providing interpretations that are transformed into objects that can be interpreted in terms of space and time. The article concludes that, in contemporary Indonesia, the synergy between political and cultural da'wah must be directed toward resolving the nation's problems, such as poverty and ignorance eradication, upholding justice, and establishing a clean government. These efforts should be couched in a framework of noble morality, elegant strategy, and an approach that is both friendly and sympathetic.Keywords: Reconstruction; Islamic Education; Politics, Culture  AbstrakDakwah di ranah politik dan kultural di Indonesia digambarkan seolah-olah sebagai siblings yang sudah lama tidak saling menyapa, kontradiktif, bahkan saling menjatuhkan. Rekontruksi dakwah di ranah politik dan kultural di Indonesia merupakan topik yang sangat menarik dan memiliki potensi kuat untuk selalu berkembang serta menghadirkan terobosan baru. Persoalan perundang-undangan dan kebijakan-kebijakan publik mengharuskan umat ini untuk terlibat di arena politik, sementara persoalan sosial-kemasyarakatan cenderung menghajatkan pendekatan kultural. Penelitian ini hendak menjawab pertanyaan, benarkah dakwah Islam di ranah politik dan di ranah kultural tidak bisa dipertemukan, khususnya dalam konteks Indonesia dan mampukah menciptakan sinergi –bahkan konvergensi—antara dakwah politik dan dakwah kultural serta Apa saja kompromi-kompromi yang mesti ditempuh dari mainstream kalangan dakwah politik dan kalangan dakwah kultural yang ada di Indonesia sekarang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan literatur yang mempertimbangkan teori serta pendapat para ahli. Selanjutnya dianalisis dengan cara memberikan interprestasi yang menjadi obyek untuk ditafsirkan dalam kontek ruang dan waktu. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa dalam konteks Indonesia kontemporer, sinergi antara dakwah politik dan dakwah kultural tersebut mesti diarahkan untuk menyelesaikan problematika bangsa seperti pengentasan kemiskinan dan kebodohan, penegakan keadilan, serta pembentukan pemerintahan yang bersih. Upaya-upaya ini hendaknya dikemas dalam bingkai moralitas yang luhur, strategi yang elegan, serta cara pendekatan yang ramah dan simpatik.Keywords: Rekonstruksi; Dakwah Islam; Politik, Kultural

Abstract

This study aims to analyze new strategies in religious education in the digital age. The effectiveness and efficiency of learning are influenced by the accuracy of selecting the learning strategy. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, whereby data is collected through document searches to identify patterns of learning strategies. Analysis is then conducted using Holsti's content analysis, concluding the objective, systematic, and measurable identification of message characteristics. The results of the study confirm that religious education in madrasas has its own characteristics and methods for achieving learning objectives, so that PAI teachers must be able to determine the appropriate and effective models and strategies. In addition, the current learning effectiveness patterns are not yet fully effective, possibly due to a lack of creativity or new strategies to be applied during learning. The digital era has given rise to many learning systems that are conducted virtually and offline, which have a positive impact on the learning process, but also have a negative impact. This is due to several factors that hinder the virtual and offline learning process. Thus, in response to the advances of the digital era, religious education in madrasahs needs to develop new strategies for PAI teachers in implementing their teaching, with the aim and hope that learning can be carried out productively and effectively.
