Abstract

This paper describes the instrument validity for digital learning resources for coastal areas based digital in the elementary school by using Aiken's V analysis. The purpose of the research is to develop an instrument that can be seen as the validity for every instrument item to obtain information about the need for digital-based coastal area disaster learning resources in elementary schools. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research method. Instrument design and validation were carried out in three stages; (a) literature review, (b) instrument draft design, and (c) qualitative and quantitative rater review of the instrument. Content validity is validated using the V Aikens coefficient. The content validity coefficient is measured by 8 raters based on the assessment results. It is assessed based on certain scales, which consisted of strongly agree (scale 4), agree (scale 3), disagree (scale 2), and strongly disagree (scale 1). The research results indicate that aspect 1, with four instrument items, is in the high category. For aspect 2, three instruments are in the high category. Aspect 3 with three instruments is in the moderate category. For aspect 4, two instruments are in the moderate category. Aspect 5 with three instruments is in the moderate category. In aspect 5, there are two high-category instrument items and three medium-category instrument items. It is concluded that out of the 22 items of needs analysis, in general, it was valid. Nevertheless, several instrument items needed to be reviewed, namely on the editorial aspect of the statement.

Abstract

At present, there are still some teachers who when teaching use leatoring and demonstration methods. It influences less effective teaching and learning and takes a lot of timeand energy to explain process by process  when teaching in class. To avoid this, we need the right media that can describe each process from preparation to completion without having totake a long time and can  be reused and attract students' interest  inlearning so that students donot feel bored when studying. Hence, a teacher is required to be able to create a learning media. By using learning media, teachers will be easier to convey material so that learningmedia can be used as media that combines sound with images so that it will attract more attention during the learning process. In addition, learning media also has advantages, one of them is that it can be seen repeatedly if we need it. This article is focused on the developmentstudy of dance learning media based on environmental care. Based on the   of the study, the average total score of media validity showed 88% in the ‘very valid’ category and the average total score of product try-out showed 94.02% in the ‘very good’ category. Thus, developed dance learning media could be said feasible and used by teacher and students in Art, Culture, and Craft learning subject in elementary school.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the pedagogical capacity of elementary-school teachers in the Rakit Kulim teacher cluster, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province, through an integrated training program on Deep Learning (Pembelajaran Mendalam), growth mindset, and teacher spirituality to foster a favorable classroom climate. Implemented on 22–23 August 2025 with 40 participants, the program combined short concept briefings, collaborative lesson-design clinics, microteaching, and reflective coaching. Participants developed lesson designs that are mindful, meaningful, and joyful, grounded in holistic development (mind–heart–sense–body) and a staged learning sequence (understanding, applying, and reflecting). Growth mindset practices were incorporated to encourage iterative improvement, while spirituality-informed culture building emphasized respectful language, empathy, and consistent classroom agreements. Key outputs included contextual topic maps, draft lesson designs aligned with the Deep Learning framework, an assessment portfolio (assessment as learning, for learning, and of learning), and a cluster-level follow-up plan for peer mentoring. Overall, the integrated approach suggests that teachers are better prepared to implement deeper, more humanizing learning in elementary classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the level of legal literacy among Citizenship Education students across cognitive, affective, and behavioural dimensions. The approach is quantitative, with a survey design. The study sample consisted of 50 students selected through probability sampling techniques. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire structured around three main dimensions: legal Knowledge, legal Awareness, and law-abiding behaviour. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a one-way ANOVA to examine differences in legal literacy across semesters. The results show that students' legal literacy is generally high across all dimensions. The affective dimension shows the strongest trend, followed by the cognitive and behavioural dimensions. In addition, there are significant differences in legal literacy levels by semester, indicating that academic experience contributes to progressive improvement in legal literacy. These findings confirm that legal literacy is a multidimensional competency that needs to be developed in an integrated manner through the Citizenship Education curriculum. This study provides theoretical contributions to strengthening the legal literacy model and practical implications for developing more participatory and reflective learning strategies in higher education.
