Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology presents both opportunities and challenges in the educational sector, particularly for high school students who often lack a comprehensive understanding of its potential as a learning tool. This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital literacy and AI utilization skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Bireuen Regency. Using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the activity involved 50 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of interactive counseling on AI concepts and hands-on training using various AI applications like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Canva AI. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of AI concepts, ability to formulate effective prompts, and skills in operating AI applications independently. The average post-test scores across all assessed aspects, such as basic understanding, prompt engineering, and practical skills, increased substantially compared to pre-test scores. Students also demonstrated high enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward using AI in learning. This training successfully equipped students with the knowledge and skills to utilize AI as an effective, responsible, and productive learning aid, supporting their readiness for educational transformation in the digital era. Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas adopsi teknologi pengolahan pangan yang higienis pada mitra, serta membangun kemandirian ekonomi kelompok dalam mengoptimalkan potensi perikanan lokal secara berkelanjutan. Pengabdian dilakukan secara terpusat di Lapangan Cot Gapu, Kabupaten Bireuen, dengan melibatkan 35 orang peserta dari UMKM Poklahsar KAMIIKAN. Metode pelaksanaan program dirancang secara sistematis melalui 7 tahapan utama, meliputi perencanaan program, identifikasi masalah, sosialisasi manajemen usaha dan pemasaran, pelatihan dan praktik langsung (hands-on training), pendampingan berkelanjutan, promosi produk (Event Pasar Tani), serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya transformasi nyata pada sistem produksi dari yang semula reaktif (made-to-order) menjadi produksi harian yang kontinu berbasis standardisasi Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) dan teknologi kemasan kedap udara (vacuum packaging). Seluruh komoditas olahan perikanan berupa bakso bandeng (5,0 kg), nugget bandeng (10,5 kg), dan bandeng pepes tanpa duri (10 unit) habis terjual selama event luring dengan respons kepuasan konsumen yang sangat tinggi. Keberlanjutan usaha diperkuat melalui adopsi mandiri saluran pemasaran digital berbasis WhatsApp dan Instagram serta hibah sarana pengolahan berupa freezer dan meja kerja steril.

Abstract

Bacterial diseases are among the major factors limiting the productivity of mud grouper (Epinephelus coioides) aquaculture. This study aimed to isolate and identify bacteria from the kidney, gills, and skin mucus of mud grouper cultured in floating net cages in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. The study was conducted from August to September 2024 using an observational method combined with laboratory-based analysis. A total of ten fish (approximately 20 cm in length) showing clinical signs of bacterial infection, including lethargy, erythema, and hemorrhage, were selected using purposive sampling. Bacterial isolation was performed on 3% Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) and incubated at 26–30°C for 24 h. The isolates were identified using the Analytical Profile Index (API) Kit. The results revealed the presence of Vibrio alginolyticus, Vibrio harveyi, Streptococcus iniae, and Bacillus cereus. Vibrio alginolyticus and Vibrio harveyi were isolated from the kidney and gills, whereas Streptococcus iniae was detected in the gills and skin mucus. Bacillus cereus was identified only from the skin mucus. These findings provide baseline information on bacterial diversity associated with cultured mud grouper and may support disease diagnosis and fish health management in floating net cage aquaculture.
