Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the world of education, including Islamic education. Digitalization offers opportunities through easy access to information, flexible learning systems, and the use of innovative learning media such as e-learning, videos, and digital applications. However, the digital era also brings various challenges, including the spread of misinformation, low digital literacy skills, unequal access to technology, and the decline of students’ moral and religious values. This study aims to analyze the strategies of Islamic education in facing the era of digitalization. The research applies a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research through the analysis of books, articles, and journals related to Islamic education and digital technology. The findings indicate that Islamic education requires flexible and comprehensive approaches, including the development of an integrated curriculum, the optimal use of digital technology in learning processes, the improvement of educators’ digital competencies, and the strengthening of moral and spiritual values. In addition, Islamic education must continue to uphold Islamic values such as ethics, responsibility, and tabayyun in the use of technology. Therefore, Islamic education is expected to produce generations who are intellectually excellent, spiritually strong, and wise in utilizing digital technology. ABSTRAK Kemajuan teknologi digital telah mengubah secara signifikan dunia pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan Islam. Digitalisasi membuka peluang dengan akses informasi yang mudah, sistem pembelajaran yang fleksibel, serta pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang inovatif seperti e-learning, video, dan aplikasi digital. Namun, era digital juga membawa berbagai tantangan, seperti penyebaran informasi yang salah, rendahnya kemampuan literasi digital, ketimpangan akses teknologi, serta menurunnya nilai moral dan agama siswa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi masa digitalisasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan melalui analisis buku, artikel, dan jurnal yang berhubungan dengan teknologi digital dan pendidikan Islam. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pendidikan Islam membutuhkan pendekatan yang fleksibel dan menyeluruh, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang terintegrasi, pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran, peningkatan kemampuan digital para pendidik, serta peneguhan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual. Di samping itu, pendidikan Islam harus senantiasa mengedepankan nilai-nilai Islam seperti etika, tanggung jawab, dan tabayyun dalam menggunakan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan Islam diharapkan dapat menciptakan generasi yang cemerlang secara intelektual, kokoh secara spiritual, dan bijaksana dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital.

Abstract

The management of boarding systems in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Boarding The study aims to analyze homeschooling management from the perspective of Islamic education using the POAC framework and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of its implementation. The study employs an analytical literature review method using content analysis and thematic analysis of relevant journals and books. The results indicate that homeschooling offers advantages such as more intensive internalization of Islamic values, learning flexibility, a conducive environment, and strengthened parent-child relationships. However, homeschooling also has weaknesses, such as limited social interaction, dependence on parental competence, and high demands on time and resources. Therefore, structured management is required for Islamic homeschooling to run effectively.
