Abstract

Abstrak Pemahaman masyarakat mengenai jenis-jenis jaminan dalam hukum perdata Indonesia masih tergolong rendah dan belum merata. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti kompleksitas istilah hukum, rendahnya literasi hukum, serta terbatasnya akses terhadap informasi yang mudah dipahami. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat melalui sosialisasi mengenai jenis-jenis jaminan, baik jaminan kebendaan maupun jaminan perorangan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, serta penggunaan media visual yang komunikatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, yang terlihat dari kemampuan peserta dalam mengenali dan membedakan jenis-jenis jaminan serta memahami fungsi dan risikonya dalam praktik hukum. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman peserta. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya yang berkelanjutan, inovatif, dan kolaboratif melalui peningkatan intensitas sosialisasi, pemanfaatan media digital, penyederhanaan bahasa hukum, serta peran aktif berbagai pihak dalam meningkatkan literasi hukum masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diharapkan masyarakat dapat memahami dan menerapkan konsep jaminan secara tepat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari guna mewujudkan kepastian dan perlindungan hukum. Kata Kunci: pemahaman masyarakat; jaminan hukum; hukum perdata; sosialisasi hukum; literasi hukum. Abstract  Public understanding of the types of guarantees in Indonesian civil law is still relatively low and uneven. This condition is caused by various factors, such as the complexity of legal terms, low legal literacy, and limited access to easy-to-understand information. This community service activity aims to increase public understanding through socialization about the types of guarantees, both material guarantees and individual guarantees. The methods used include counseling, interactive discussions, and the use of communicative visual media. The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding, which can be seen from the ability of participants to recognize and distinguish types of guarantees and understand their functions and risks in legal practice. However, there are still obstacles such as time constraints and differences in participants' levels of understanding. Therefore, sustainable, innovative, and collaborative efforts are needed through increasing the intensity of socialization, the use of digital media, simplifying legal language, and the active role of various parties in improving public legal literacy. Thus, it is hoped that the public can understand and apply the concept of guarantees appropriately in their daily lives in order to realize certainty and legal protection. Keywords: community understanding; legal guarantee; civil law; legal socialization; legal literacy.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai perlindungan hukum serta akses pendidikan anak-anak komunitas migran Indonesia di Malaysia bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai hak-hak anak migran berdasarkan hukum nasional dan internasional. Anak-anak migran Indonesia di Malaysia merupakan kelompok rentan yang sering menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, seperti keterbatasan dokumen identitas, diskriminasi, serta sulitnya memperoleh akses pendidikan yang layak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya perlindungan hukum dan pemenuhan hak pendidikan secara optimal melalui kerja sama antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan berbagai pihak terkait. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan penyuluhan edukatif kepada peserta sosialisasi. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup perlindungan hukum anak berdasarkan Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak, serta akses pendidikan melalui Community Learning Center (CLC) dan Sekolah Indonesia Luar Negeri (SILN). Selain itu, kegiatan juga membahas hambatan yang dihadapi anak migran, seperti persoalan administrasi, keterbatasan ekonomi, kondisi geografis, dan minimnya fasilitas pendidikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya perlindungan hukum dan pemenuhan hak pendidikan bagi anak-anak migran Indonesia di Malaysia. Peserta juga memahami berbagai upaya yang telah dilakukan pemerintah melalui KBRI/KJRI serta lembaga pendidikan terkait. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan mendorong kerja sama berbagai pihak dalam mendukung perlindungan serta pemenuhan hak anak migran secara lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.    Kata Kunci: perlindungan hukum; akses Pendidikan; anak migran; komunitas migran Indonesia; malaysia. Abstract  Socialization activities regarding legal protection and access to education for children of the Indonesian migrant community in Malaysia aim to increase public understanding of the rights of migrant children based on national and international laws. Indonesian migrant children in Malaysia are a vulnerable group that often faces various problems, such as limited identity documents, discrimination, and difficulty in obtaining access to proper education. Therefore, efforts to protect the law and fulfill the right to education optimally are needed through cooperation between the government, the community, and various related parties. The implementation of the activity was carried out through lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and educational counseling to socialization participants. The material presented included legal protection of children based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the Child Protection Law, as well as access to education through Community Learning Centers (CLC) and Indonesian Overseas Schools (SILN). In addition, the activity also discussed the obstacles faced by migrant children, such as administrative problems, economic limitations, geographical conditions, and lack of educational facilities. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of legal protection and the fulfillment of educational rights for Indonesian migrant children in Malaysia. Participants also understood the various efforts that have been made by the government through the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General and related educational institutions. This activity is expected to increase awareness and encourage cooperation from various parties in supporting the protection and fulfillment of the rights of migrant children in a more optimal and sustainable manner. Keywords: legal protection; access to education; migrant children; indonesian migrant community; malaysia.

Abstract

Abstrak    Perkembangan teknologi dan arus informasi yang pesat di era digital memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pola pikir pemuda Generasi Z. Namun, kemudahan akses informasi tersebut belum sepenuhnya diimbangi dengan tingginya minat dan pemahaman terhadap hukum dan politik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta hukum dan politik di kalangan pemuda Gen Z melalui sosialisasi edukatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif dengan teknik ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan studi kasus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi edukatif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, kesadaran, serta partisipasi pemuda terhadap isu hukum dan politik. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan perubahan sikap menjadi lebih peduli, kritis, dan aktif dalam kehidupan demokrasi. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala seperti perbedaan minat peserta dan keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi metode serta keberlanjutan program agar dampak kegiatan dapat lebih optimal. Kata Kunci: Sosialisasi edukatif; Generasi Z; hukum; politik; partisipasi pemuda. Abstract  The development of technology and the rapid flow of information in the digital era have a great influence on the mindset of Generation Z youth. This service activity aims to foster a sense of love for law and politics among Gen Z youth through educational socialization. The method used is an educational-participatory approach with interactive lecture techniques, discussions, and case studies. The results of the activity show that educational socialization is effective in increasing the understanding, awareness, and participation of youth on legal and political issues. Participants showed enthusiasm and changed attitudes to become more caring, critical, and active in democratic life. However, there are still obstacles such as differences in participants' interests and limited implementation time. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate methods and program sustainability so that the impact of activities can be more optimal.  Keywords: educational socialization; generation z; law; politics; youth participation.
