Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of human resources (HR) empowerment in developing local economic potential in Bundar Village, Barito Selatan Regency, Central Kalimantan. Bundar Village has dominant economic potential in rubber commodities and fisheries, supported by village government initiatives in developing the livestock and agricultural sectors. This qualitative research employed in-depth interviews with the village head, community leaders, and youth representatives, supported by document study and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that HR empowerment is a crucial foundation for economic diversification and mitigating the risks associated with rubber price fluctuations. Local wisdom serves as a strong social capital but also presents challenges, particularly social resistance to regulations prohibiting land burning for agriculture, which requires sustainable farming technical solutions. Furthermore, community dependency on aid and the lack of program continuity are major obstacles. An effective empowerment strategy must integrate the enhancement of technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial competencies in alignment with local values (intercropping systems) to create competitive products. Thus, sustainable HR empowerment will strengthen Bundar Village's economic self-reliance and strategically position it as a quality provider of food commodities and services for the IKN Nusantara region.

Abstract

The dynamics of the global labour market, which are shifting towards the gig economy era, require university graduates to possess the ability to adapt to technology and to market themselves effectively. This research is motivated by concern over the low job readiness among students, which is attributed to the tendency to use social media solely as a means of entertainment and to a lack of understanding of digital literacy. Departing from this phenomenon, this study was conducted to examine the extent to which personal branding on social media and digital literacy contribute to the job readiness of Management students at the University of Palangka Raya. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. Data were obtained through a questionnaire survey administered to active students who had completed at least four semesters, determined using the purposive sampling method, and were subsequently processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study show that personal branding on social media and digital literacy each have a positive and significant impact on job readiness. When considered simultaneously, these two variables exerted a significant positive influence, with a combined contribution of 69.3%. The conclusions of this study emphasise that the combination of technical mastery through digital literacy and the ability to communicate one's competencies through personal branding creates a synergy that is instrumental in shaping the profile of graduates who are ready to compete in the modern labour market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational support and psychological safety on employees' innovative behavior in a digital work environment. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Bank Kalteng in Palangka Raya who use digital systems in their daily work activities. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis was done using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software, which includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. Research results show that organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employees' innovative behavior. Psychological safety also has a positive and significant impact on employees' innovative behavior. Together, organizational support and psychological safety significantly influence employees' innovative behavior in a digital work environment. These findings suggest that employees' innovative behavior is not only determined by the use of technology, but also by how much the organization provides support, facilities, rewards, and creates a sense of psychological safety for employees to share ideas, try new ways of working, and participate in work innovation. This study implies that digital transformation in the banking sector needs to be accompanied by strengthening organizational support and an open work culture so that employees can adapt and innovate continuously.

This study aims to analyze the effect of academic workload and anxiety on learning stress among Management students at the University of Palangka Raya. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the local context of Management students at the University of Palangka Raya, which has not been extensively explored, thus providing new empirical insights into the factors influencing learning stress in higher education within the region. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. The study population consisted of 338 active students in their fourth semester and above, from which a sample of 183 students was determined using Slovin’s formula and selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results revealed that (1) academic workload has a positive and significant effect on learning stress, (2) anxiety has a positive and significant effect on learning stress, and (3) academic workload and anxiety simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on learning stress. The combined contribution of the two independent variables to learning stress reached 47.9%, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings highlight the importance of balancing academic workload and managing anxiety to prevent excessive learning stress. Practically, the study suggests the need for adaptive academic policies, as well as counseling services and stress management skill training for students.
