Abstract

Communication principles are included in the discussion of the relationship between speech and speaker. The aim of this research is to describe the forms of deviation from the maxims of quantity, quality, relevance and maxims of manner/implementation in Roma Irama's interactive dialogue on the Mata Najwa program on Metro TV. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research focuses on deviations from the principle of cooperation in Roma Irama's interactive dialogue on the Mata Najwa program on Metro TV which is studied pragmatically. Data was obtained using the listening method with the SBLC technique (skilled free-involved listening), recording technique, and note-taking technique. The data analysis method used is the matching method using pragmatic matching techniques. The results of this research found deviations from the principles of cooperation in the form of deviations from the maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of method/implementation.

Abstract

Sasak lelakaq is one of literary works belonging to old poetry, pantun. Sasak lelakaq is built on verse, line, rhyme, sampiran (first two lines of a pantun), and content. This study aimed to describe the implantation of education point of Sasak lelakaq as well as the relevance of Sasak lelakaq’s content and meaning to the Indonesian language and letters teaching. This study was a descriptive qualitative research in the form of “content analysis.” The sampling technique used was purposive sampling on. The data of research was Sasak lelakaq existing in Sakra Timur Sub-district, East Lombok Regency. The data source of research derived from informant. Techniques of collecting data used were interview. The data was analyzed using interactive technique with the procedure including data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that (1) the meaning of Sasak lelakaq contained religion, social, moral, intellectuality, faith, tough personality, discipline, and responsibility values, and (2) the relevance of Sasak lelakaq’s content and meaning to Indonesian language and letters teaching in line with the objective of national education, to establish the human being who believes in the Almighty God, ethical, civilized, has Indonesian cultural insight, has reasoning, advance, competent, smart, creative, innovative, responsible, has social communication ability, discipline, legally aware, and has health physique thereby becoming an independent human.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the form and meaning of lelakaq Sasak in the Lombok community, West Nusa Tenggara. This study is a qualitative descriptive study in the form of content analysis. The data of this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses and sentences related to the form and meaning of lelakaq Sasak in the Lombok community, West Nusa Tenggara. Data were collected using recording techniques, repeated readings heuristically and hermeneutically. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using interactive techniques with steps including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this study indicate that (1) the form of lelakaq Sasak is lelakaq in the form of advice, and (2) the meaning of lelakaq Sasak in the Lombok community has a religious meaning. This lelakaq has a moral message and message material. However, the most is a moral message.
