Abstract

Digital cash waqf has great potential in optimizing Muslims' contribution to social and economic development. However, participation in digital cash waqf in Indonesia, particularly in Wonogiri Regency, remains low. This study aims to identify factors influencing individuals' intention to participate in digital cash waqf, focusing on the role of trust as a mediator between waqf literacy, social media, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. The research method used is a quantitative approach with primary data collection through questionnaires distributed to 226 respondents in Wonogiri Regency. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that perceived usefulness, ease of use, and trust significantly influence participation intention in digital cash waqf. Although waqf literacy and social media influence did not show significant direct effects, both played a role through the mediation of trust. Trust fully mediated the relationship between waqf literacy and participation intention, as well as between social media and participation intention. Meanwhile, perceived ease of use had both a direct effect and a partial mediation effect on participation intention. Based on these findings, it is recommended that waqf management institutions improve transparency and user trust, and optimize the ease of use of digital platforms to encourage greater participation in digital cash waqf

Abstract

The increasing development of internet access and the penetration of digital devices has had a significant impact on rural communities, enabling them to connect within the digital ecosystem. However, the low level of digital literacy among them has also increased their potential to become victims of cybercrime. This cybercrime not only causes material losses but also threatens individual security and privacy, as well as disrupts the social and economic stability in rural areas. Therefore, the protection and enhancement of digital literacy become essential preventive measures to reduce these risks. This community service program aims to improve digital literacy through socialization, education on various forms of cybercrime, training on measures to anticipate cybercrime, and practical use of anti-cybercrime applications on smartphones. With this program, it is hoped that Pacarejo Village can become a model in building local cyber resilience, which in turn can reduce the risk of cybercrime and enhance the digital security and well-being of the village community

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning motivation in Social Studies through the use of PowerPoint media among ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Karau Kuala. The background of this research is the low learning motivation of students in Social Studies classes, which affects their participation and learning outcomes. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate the learning process by utilizing interactive digital media to make learning more engaging and meaningful. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in three cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class IX A at SMP Negeri 2 Karau Kuala in the 2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative methods focusing on ten aspects of learning motivation. The instrument validation results indicated that all items were valid and reliable for measuring students’ motivation levels. The results showed that the use of PowerPoint media significantly improved students’ learning motivation in each cycle. The percentage of students with high motivation increased from 6.3% in the pre-cycle to 16% in the first cycle, 25% in the second cycle, and 63% in the third cycle. The average motivation score also rose from the low category (16.9) in the pre-cycle to moderate (23.9) in the first cycle, high (28.3) in the second cycle, and very high (34.3) in the third cycle. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and participative during lessons. Therefore, PowerPoint media is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ motivation in Social Studies learning and in creating an engaging, interactive, and enjoyable classroom environment.
